Arora

My life was so hectic, and getting more so by the second.
“ARORA!!!!” Shouted my roommate Crystal.
She was really very pretty she had curly brown hair and pretty blue eyes, sometimes I felt insignificant compared to her, but I have come to think of her like some kind of sister.
And she looked very sisterly giving me that angry grimace, frustration wrinkling her eyebrows.
As she saw me coming she let me know what I already knew.
“The dishwasher is still broken, I told you to call the landlord to have it fixed! Look at these dishes piling up, we are going to get bugs!” Crystal boomed.
“I'm sorry I have been very busy, if you want I will do them by hand later on, but I have to get to the bar, I am already late and staff is very low.” I said as I grabbed my Jacket and purse.
“Forget it I will just call him myself, but just so you know I probably won't be here later when you get back. I'm going to a party with Jack later.”
“Ok, I love you” I shouted as I rushed out the door. I don't know what she said since her words were muffled because I had already shut the door.
Once at work things were more so crazy, somehow we had 3 interviews all at the same time and there was only one bartender Jeff, and it being a Thursday we were very busy, he didn't have time to do these interviews.
So of coarse I did them, it was kind of awkward though doing this interview while two other woman sat impatiently at another table not to far from us, it was pretty crammed tonight.
“So you were working at IHOP before this. That's nice, wait, why were you fired?”
“Because that bitch didn't appreciate my service and kept complaining about me, so I spit in the bitches tea to get payback and my boss fucking saw!”
All I could do was stare for a second, she was serious, all I could say was “Ok, well thank you anyways but we don't need that kind of attitude here, people can get very irritating when they are drunk, I don't need you spitting in there drinks or starting something because they weren't very nice.” Needless to say she stormed out.
The Next woman looked very angry.
“Hello, may I see your resume?” I asked.
The woman basically threw it at me; I took a calm collected breath.
“It says here that you were arrested, what for?”
“Because the popo pulled me over.” she said as if it were completely obvious.
Unbelievable I thought, I felt like I was talking to a child when I asked my next question “Yes, but what for?”
“He was an undercover cop, and I had no Idea when I asked him if he needed company for the night for a small price, it was just a joke!”
Looking at her and the way she was dressed, I completely doubted she was joking with the man. I sent her home and told her we would contact her if she got the job. Of coarse we wouldn't be.
I sighed heavily; well they say third time is the charm…
Luckily it was in the situation, she was dressed decently wearing blue jeans with a cute pink tank top, she had short blond wavy hair with red highlights, and she was just so cute. And her Resume was not bad either.
“It says here you quit your last job at Sonic, what happened?” I asked.
She laughed and said “ I was to clumsy, I kept running into other employees, and a few customers, I decided to quit when I ran into a customer while I was taking her her shake, I felt so bad!”
I laughed as well; well luckily this job wasn't as hectic as Sonic.
“Well thank you so much Rose, you are hired, when can you start?” I asked.
“Whenever, I can start now if you want!” she seemed very happy and optimistic.
“That would be great, if you want go in back and grab an apron right now and start getting orders, and I will go put you on the schedule.”
Finally things weren't quite so crazy. And we have another employee, yay!
As I headed to the back I stopped in front of the mirror we had on a wall in the back, I knew I was pretty but it just seemed odd to say it out loud or acknowledge it, I felt so vain when I did. But I had brown/black wavy hair, blue/green eyes, a nice complexion, I wasn't to pale, nor to tan, and I was skinny but not anorexic skinny, and I had a decent size chest, or so I heard from the drunktards I served alcohol to, I sighed.
I felt so weary and lethargic; it really was a hectic night.
Things pretty much flew by in a haze. I had to take on multiple tasks seeing as we only had two waitresses, one bartender, and one bus boy working tonight.
But even though I was running back and forth doing all these different tasks, I still noticed this very handsome man enter the bar tonight.
Working here for 3 years I had seen plenty of gorgeous guys walk in and out of here. But this man had something about him, I couldn't put my finger on it. He was so handsome.
He was wearing black jeans, he had very dark brown hair, fair skin, and very bright blue eyes, but they looked so cold.
Normally I wouldn't be able to tell standing this far away, but as I said, they were very bright, and staring right at me!
As I noticed him noticing me, I looked away quickly. I was cleaning a table and from my hasty retreat I dropped everything, the silverware emphasized my embarrassment by clanking together making horribly loud noise.
And of course everyone had to look to see what the ruckus was, you would think they wouldn't notice seeing as how drunk most of them were. But as quickly as they noticed me they turned away returning to whatever they were doing before my incident
I thanked my lucky stars, put everything back in the tray, and headed to the back to do some quick dishes.
As I headed to the back, I noticed this mysterious man still watching me from his reflection in the glass behind the bar, smirking.
