Death Academy: The Beginning

The Prologue

 

“No!” screamed a man who was lying on the ground looking into the barrel of a gun, “you, why are you doing this!!!”

 

“Shut Up.”, said the other man whose face was hidden by the shadows, the only thing you could see was the hatred in his voice, “your reign is over Ken…”

 

“Noooooooooooooooo!” screamed Ken, right before the bullet met his head, as pieces of his brain hit the coldness of the damped stone walls.

 

“It's time for my reign to begin….hahahahaha”, the man laughed, while standing next to the lifeless body of Ken, whose eyes where still open looking into the face of his killer.

 

As the man walked away, he threw the gun down right next to Ken's body, and walked down the damp tunnel until there was no visibility left of the killer's cruel intentions.

 

 

Death Academy: The Beginning

Chapter One

 

The sun was reflecting off of Hitomi's black hair, creating a burning sensation on her head. She is about 5'7 and weighs about 147lbs, she has black hair that is at shoulder length, and it has red tips at the end of her hair. She has brown eyes and was wearing a black shirt with pink writing on it that looked like it said “Stop looking at my boobs they don't talk” and on each side of her Capri's she had one sword. She looked up to see the entrance to one of the most elaborate buildings she has every seen. The building was all brick with giant steps than led to the entrance of the building, on each side of the entrance was two magnificent sculptors of two falcons fighting each other. As she glanced up at the very top of the building she could see the words “The Prodigy Academy for Weaponry and Tactical Marital Arts” engraved in golden letters, creating flashy rings around each letter as the sun reflected off of it.

 

“What a hot day…” said Hitomi who was sweating a little from the heat, “but nothing can ruin this day even the heat, this is the first day of my college experience!”

 

“Really?” said a voice from behind her.

 

Hitomi turned around, to see one of the most beautiful girls she has ever seen. The girl was about 5'8 and around 115lbs. She has long blonde hair below her waist and has amazing green eyes and was really skinny. She was wearing a light blue polo shirt with the buttons all the way down, almost showing her boobs, and she was wearing a mini skirt that was short enough to make an old man go crazy in his grave, the shoes she was wearing were light green flip flops, and she was carrying in one hand a guitar case that Hitomi was guessing that there was a guitar in it.

 

“Talk about not matching...” Hitomi thought to herself.

 

“Hi! My name is Fee, Fee Kenton. I am a freshman at this college too!” she said, in a happy voice, extending her hand out.

 

“Um hi, my name is Hitomi Torah and I am pleased to meet you Fee.” Hitomi said, shaking Fee's hand and smiling.

 

“So there is my baby sister!” yelled another voice from behind Hitomi, sounding like they just walked outside from the Academy.

 

Fee cocked her head to the side of Hitomi's shoulder and let out a huge scream.

 

“Hey Lee!!” Fee yelled, waving to the boy, then running up and giving him a hug.

 

“Hey sis, exciting about being here?” he said smiling at his sister.

 

“Uh huh. Here, there is someone I want you to meet.” She said ushering him over to Hitomi.

 

“Lee this is Hitomi Torah she is new here too, and Hitomi, this is my big brother Lee, Lee Kenton, he is a junior at this academy.” Fee said pointing her finger back and forth from Hitomi then to Lee.

 

Lee was really, well, short. He looked like he is around 5'4 and about 167lbs. Lee was well built and had short brown hair. His eyes were the same color as his hair, brown. Lee was wearing a red t-shirt that said “Why are you reading a freaking t-shirt?” and was wearing blue jean shorts.

 

“Nice to meet you Hitomi.” Lee said smiling at her.

 

“Nice to meet you too.”

 

“Lee is the captain of the baseball team and is super smart; he is the lead designer of weapons around here, he even designed my guitar, well my weapon.” She said holding up her guitar case.

 

“What? A guitar for a weapon? That's interesting...” Hitomi thought.

 

“I see your carrying weapons yourself, Hitomi” Lee said snapping her out of her trance.

 

He was pointing at the two swords around her waist, “Yeah, I am enlisted in the Weaponry Fighting Class in this school.” Hitomi said.

 

“So am I!” squealed Fee.

 

“Well, I advise you two to go to your dorms and unpack because the first class is in…oh say about two hours.” Said Lee, looking at his watch.

 

“Already?” Hitomi sighed.

 

“Yep.” He said, “The girls dorm is Dorm One, right over there.” He continued pointing eastward.

 

“Talk to you guys later.” Lee said walking off to the west side, probably to Dorm Two which I suppose is the boy dorm.

“So, Ryo'ichi, this is the place?” asked the girl sitting on the back of the black motorcycle as it came to a stop in front of Prodigy Academy for Weaponry and Tactical Marital Arts, looking like she was talking to the person driving it.

 

“Yes, Zinnia this is the place. I am positive.” Ryo'ichi said, turning the off the bike and got up a stood next to it, the helmet still hiding his face.

 

“It's pretty nice; I could get use to staying here.” Zinnia said taking off her helmet and getting off the bike picking up what looked like an umbrella. Zinnia was is about 5'8 and about 120lbs. She has dark brown hair up in pigtails, and she has bluish brownish eyes. Zinnia was wearing a skater shirt that said “Element the World” and was a light brownish color, and she was wearing dark blue jeans with gray Vans with skulls on the side.

 

“What you're looking for is here to, right?” she continued.

 

“Yes, and Zinnia.” Ryo'ichi said turning towards her.

 

“Yes?”

 

“You ask too many goddamn questions.”

 

“Sorry I am just so excited!” she said clapping her hands.

 

“You're right; this is going to be fun.” Ryo'ichi said, finally taking off his helmet and unzipping his leather suit. Ryo'ichi was surprisingly skinny; he looked about 6'2 and 135lbs. He has black hair down below his ears and his eyes, and his hair a several blue streaks in it, he has gray eyes, and his right arm is wrapped in bandages. He was wearing a black shirt with a dark red streak that went down diagonally, and he was wearing blue jeans, with black Vans that had white crosses on each side. In the back of his blue jeans, he had two pistols hidden underneath his shirt, only visible when he sits up and down. The only peculiar about these pistols was that they had what looked like blades on the top of its bases.

 

“Well, I advise you to go to your dorm and unpack and get ready for class.” Ryo'ichi said taking the key of the motorcycle and walking to the boy's dorm.

 

“Ok, I'll talk to you later then, bye!” Zinnia said waving to Ryo'ichi, as she walked towards the girl's dorm.

Hitomi walked up the two story brick building that had the name “Dorm one: Girl Dorm” in golden letters. The building was shielded by the sunlight by tons of oak trees surrounding it. When she walked inside, the first thing she noticed was that the building looked completely opposite of what normal dorm buildings were. Instead of the rooms being in front and the lounge in the back of the building, the lounge was right as you enter the dorm and the rooms followed behind it, and the stairs was on the left corner of the lounge area.

 

“Wow nice place huh?” Fee said walking in behind Hitomi.

 

“Yeah, it is.” Hitomi said looking around the lounge, giving an evil look at the few people that were in there.

 

“What floors are you on, first or second?” Fee asked, now standing by Hitomi.

 

Hitomi pulled out a crumpled piece of paper from her pocket “Second Floor, Room 4”

 

“Really? I have the second floor, and room 3.”

 

Hitomi and Fee walked over to the stairs and made there way up to the second floor. When they got to the top, Hitomi looked around and saw that the second was a desolate wasteland, the floor had ten rooms on it, and up to room 5 the lights were flickering on an off, looking like they could fall down any second.

 

“Wow, this looks cool.” Hitomi said.

 

“EW………creepy.” Fee said shivering a little.

 

Fee walked over to her room and unlocked the door and disappeared into her room as the door shut. Hitomi walked over to her room, and glanced into the darkness, scared that something could jump out any minute and grab her. As she put her key in the door, she stopped midway in horror.

 

“Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr……..” growled something from in the darkness.

 

As she turned around in horror to face the darkness she started to withdraw one of her swords, but stop when she saw two red eyes staring at her. She quickly unlocked her door and ran inside turning instantly around and locked the door.

 

“What in the hell was that?!”

 

“Maybe I am just imagining things...” Hitomi told herself, sitting her stuff down on the chair right next to her. Hitomi looked around and was amazed at how the room looked. Right when you walk into the door you see the living room and the balcony that was extended outside the living room. Hitomi immediately ran over and outside onto the balcony and looked over the edge. Right below the balcony was nothing but trees and forest, but about after half a mile of trees was a lake, one of the most beautiful lakes ever seen. After staring out on the balcony for a while she walked back inside and grabbed her stuff and walked towards the bedroom's that is when she realized that this was a two bedroom dorm.

 

“Great this means that I am going to have to share a room”, Hitomi thought.

 

Hitomi chose the one closest to the balcony and walked in the bedroom. The bedroom was about midway sized and the walls were painted blue. The bed was in the middle of the room and the dresser was on the right side corner and the closet was on the right side of the room, too, but on the opposite side of the wall. There was a door on the left side of the room, which she figured led to the bathroom. After unpacking all her stuff and getting situated, Hitomi walked out of her bedroom, and walked into the kitchen that was around the corner from the living room. She put a few drinks inside the fridge, and then she walked over and laid on the couch and turned on the TV. About two seconds after Hitomi sat down the door started to wiggle and then it opened, and a girl walked in sat her stuff down and stared at Hitomi.

 

“She must be my roommate…” Hitomi thought

 

“I thought I specifically said I wanted a room to myself. Stupid Imbeciles…”.the girl thought to herself.

 

“Hi, my name is Hitomi” she said, getting up and walking over to the girl putting out her hand.

 

“Yeah….The name's Zinnia that is all you need to know, which room is mine?” Zinnia said walking right past Hitomi without shaking her hand.

 

“What a bitch.” Hitomi thought to herself, making faces within her mind.

 

“Your room is the one on the left.” Hitomi said turning around and facing Zinnia.

 

“Thanks.” Zinnia said in a scowled voice, picking up her umbrella and walking to her room, opening the door then slamming it back, all you could here was the click of her door locking.

 

“Knock Knock”

 

“Coming, hold on” Hitomi said, running up to the door and opening it.

 

“Hey Fee…..What is it?”

 

“Nothing Hitomi, I was just wondering if you wanna come to the lounge and play my Wii 3 with me, before we have to leave, we have about 30 minutes.”

 

Hitomi turned her glance to Zinnia's door, interested in what she was doing, but quickly shrugged the thought off and walked out of the door and shut it behind her.

 

“Sure” Hitomi said to Fee, “I will.”

 

Hitomi walked out into the hallway and immediately glanced into the darkness still scared about what she saw, and then she turned to Fee and grabbed her by the shoulder.

 

“Hey Fee…..” Hitomi said still looking into the darkness.

 

“Yeah?”

 

“……………never mind.” Hitomi said turning back around and starting walking towards the stairs, leaving a confused Fee behind.

Ryo'ichi walked up the stairs and stopped in front of room 6, unlocking the door and walking in, slamming it shut, just as the guy from room 5 opened his door and walked out down the hallway. Ryo'ichi's room was pretty much the same as Hitomi's except his room was only one bedroom.

 

“Just as I requested it, one room, no stupid idiots bothering me”, Ryo'ichi thought to himself, sitting down his stuff. “It's almost time, I better get going.”

 

Ryo'ichi walked outside of his room and walk past this short guy, when the guy turned back around and said “Excuse me.”

 

Ryo'ichi turned around and said “Yes? What is it?”

 

“I don't believe I've met you. Are you a freshman here?” the guy asked.

 

“You could say that, who wants to know?” Ryo'ichi scowled.

 

“Oh sorry I didn't introduce myself, my name is Lee Kenton, I am a junior at this college.” Lee said smiling a Ryo'ichi despite Ryo'ichi's rudeness.

 

“My name is Ryo'ichi, nice to meet you.” Ryo'ichi said, “I would stay and chat, but I have to get going.”

“I knew you two would forget, I also figured you couldn't wait to pull out the Wii 3, Fee!” Lee said walking into the girl's lounge, carrying this huge hammer.

 

“What are you……oh no!” Fee shouted glancing at the clock.

 

“Hitomi, if we don't hurry we will be late!”

 

“Shit your right” Hitomi said looking at the clock, then running back up to get her twin swords.

 

“You better go get your guitar too, Fee.” Lee said pointing up at the stairs.

 

“Right.”

 

Lee, Hitomi, and Fee walked out of the girls dorm and made their way towards the eastern corner of the campus towards this huge dome shaped building.

 

“Lee, didn't you say that, that dome only holds two classrooms?!” Fee said looking at Lee then pointing to the dome.

 

“Yep, the two fighting classes.”

 

“Holy crap, but it's the size of a football field?!” Hitomi said looking at Lee in shock.

 

“Well, yeah, don't you think that you need a bunch of space to fight?” Lee said.

 

“True.” Hitomi said.

 

Lee, Hitomi, and Fee was about spitting distance on the steps of the Weaponry and Tactical Fighting Building, when two other people walked up next to them. One was a girl with an umbrella in her hands and the other was a guy that wasn't carrying any weapons.

 

“That's my roommate, Zinnia……she is in my fighting class?” Hitomi thought, “Her weapon is an umbrella…?”

 

“That's that kid, the one that I meant in the dorm, his name, what was it….Ryo'ichi.” Lee thought, turning his gaze at Ryo'ichi and Zinnia.

 

Fee immediately, turned to them and greeted them both.

 

“Hi my name is Fee, nice to meet both of you, are you two freshmen like Hitomi and I?” she said in a kind voice.

 

“Uh, yeah….I guess?” Ryo'ichi said, a little confused as to why so many people keep greeting him.

 

“That guy, he looks so familiar……who is he?” Hitomi thought staring into Ryo'ichi's eyes.

 

“Is it….her? No, impossible it couldn't be, though she looks like her the odds are improbable.” Ryo'ichi thought to himself, staring right back into Hitomi's eyes.

 

Ryo'ichi and Hitomi both shrugged off their thoughts and continued up to the building. Ryo'ichi, Hitomi, Fee, Zinnia, and Lee all walked into the building, not knowing how much they will all be intertwined. Lee and Ryo'ichi went right when they entered the building to the boy's classroom, as Hitomi, Fee, and Zinnia went left to the girl's classroom.

 

Hitomi walked into the half football field size classroom and sat down in the desk closest to the door, and Fee sat right next to her, while Zinnia sat in the very back of the classroom, secluded from everyone. Hitomi and Fee were exchanging conversation when a lady entered the classroom and yelled, “SILENCE!!”

 

“Now, that I got everyone's attention, my name is Professor Sparks, do not call me by Mrs. Sparks, Mrs. Haley Sparks, Professor Haley, just Professor Sparks.” Professor Sparks said sternly.

 

Professor Haley Sparks looked about 34 and she is about 5'7. She has brown hair up into a ponytail and had glasses covering her blue eyes. She was wearing fancy looking work dress that had multiple designs on it.

 

“Now I believe we have three freshmen entering this class this year, now all three of you come up and tells us about yourself.” Professor Sparks said, ushering them up with a wave.

 

Hitomi, Zinnia, and Fee got up and walked up to the front of the classroom part of the field. Fee was the first one to speak, and she spoke without any trance of nervousness in her voice.

 

“My name is Fee Kenton, I am 19 years old. My Taijutsu style is Kung Fu and my weapon is my trusty guitar that my brother designed for me.” Fee smiled.

 

“Very good Fee, is your brother the famous Lee Kenton?” Professor Sparks asked.

 

“Yes ma'am”

 

“Ok now next.”

 

Hitomi stepped up a decided to get it over with.

 

“My name is Hitomi, I am 19 years old. My Taijutsu style is Iaido and my weapon is my twin swords.” Hitomi said, glancing around the classroom then to the Professor.

 

“Very Good, now the last one.”

 

Zinnia stepped up and stared everyone down then smiled for the first time Hitomi has ever seen her smile.

 

“Zinnia Castle is my name. I am 19 and my Taijutsu Style is Capoeria and my weapon is my umbrella.” Zinnia said with a smirk still on her face.

 

“Oh one more thing, don't try to fight me or anything, because it would be wise to forfeit if you still wanna walk.” Zinnia continued laughing after she got finished.

 

“Very…nice.” Professor said.

 

“That girl….she knows Capoeria…..that style is highly advance that I normally teach to juniors…” Professor Sparks thought to herself.

 

“Ok now here comes the fun part.” Professor continued, “I wanna see what you freshmen already know, so you will be entering a no weapon fighting round right now.”

 

“Since there are three freshmen I will allow two of you to go against each other. You can choose.” she said.

 

“How about Hitomi? Wanna fight?” Fee said turning to Hitomi smiling.

 

“Sure!” Hitomi said, smiling back at Fee.

Ryo'ichi walked into the classroom with Lee and sat down in the back corner, as Lee sat in the very front.

 

“How's it going Lee!” shouted the man in the front, putting out his hand to Lee.

 

“Nothing much, what's up with you Dean Sparks?” Lee said laughing at the Dean.

 

“What? That's the dean? And our teacher? What a goofball, but still….it's no doubt about it, his face…..he looks exactly like him. That must mean….” Ryo'ichi thought, but was snapped back into reality by the Dean yelling at him.

 

“So! You're the only freshmen this year huh?!” Dean Sparks said, “Well come on up here.”

 

“My name is Dean Sparks! I am your teacher for this class. Now what did you say your name was?” the dean said smiling a huge grin.

 

“I didn't, but my name is Ryo'ichi, Ryo'ichi Gatkai.” Ryo'ichi said, glaring at the Dean.

 

Meanwhile in the middle of Ryo'ichi class there was a guy staring at Ryo'ichi in pure shock and horror after hearing Ryo'ichi's name.

 

“YOU, but HOW, you were missing, three years! What is going on!” the guy thought as millions of questions clouded his head.

 

“Ok well, I'll cut to the chase. Since your new I have to know what you already know, so you will enter a no weapon fighting round with another student.” Dean said pointing out to the class.

 

“Anybody wanna volunteer to fight him?” Dean said looking at everyone in the class.

 

The guy's eye's relaxed as a huge smirk appeared on his face.

 

“I'll do it.” The guy said, getting up from his desk and walking to the front of the room, then facing Ryo'ichi.

 

The guy was about 5'11 and 155lbs. He has black hair half way over his ears and his bangs half way over his eyes, but he then he flipped it over to one side, he has black eyes and was wearing a plain gray shirt with blue jeans and had converses on.

 

“Ok then, Ryo'ichi I'd like you to meet Ryuu, he is a sophomore at the academy, and his whole name is Ryuu Sabuku.” Dean said.

 

Ryo'ichi's eyes were the ones who were huge now, as he turned white as a ghost. Then Ryuu put his hand ushering Ryo'ichi's hand to shake it.

 

“Long time no see, Ryo'ichi….” Ryuu said, smiling looked dead into Ryo'ichi's eyes.

 

“YOU!” Ryo'ichi screamed in his brain.
