Chapter Ten

The Search for the Earth Jewel Begins

Setting: Haru and Sueichi have decided to search different parts of the city to cover more ground. Bio and Rin have all ready gone to help Kyonichi.

 

Haru: Man I really messed things up with Rin. I'm such and idiot! Every time I get ticked off she gets upset especially when it comes to Kyonichi. Wait could she be in love with him? I can't let that happen. I've never felt like this before about anything or one could I be in love? (Sueichi calls Haru thought the Fire Jewel.

 

Sueichi: Haru have you found anything yet?

 

Haru: Huh what? Oh um no not yet.

 

Sueichi: You okay Haru?

 

Haru: Yeah just a little confused.

 

Sueichi: About what?

 

Haru: Never mind I'll tell you later, but I really need you help.

 

Sueichi: Okay but get you mind on your work for now okay?

 

Haru: Yeah I'll call if I find any thing.

 

Sueichi: Okay

 

Setting: Bio and Rin are in Kyonichi's privet room where he is laying barely concision.

 

Rin: Hey Bio I'm really worried about Kyonichi. What if something bad happens?

 

Kikyu: Don't say things like that Miss Jima

 

Rin: Kikyo you should get some rest you've done a really good job and it was smart to come and get us but now I think it's best if you go and get some sleep.

 

Kikyu: Yes Miss Jima I think I could use some sleep. (She leaves room)

 

Bio: Hey was it just me or did Haru look a little upset when you snapped at him?

 

Rin: Oh I didn't mean to snap but I didn't want you two to start arguing and waste time.

 

Bio: You know I think he likes you.

 

Rin: You think so.

 

Bio: Yeah (Puts her hand on Kyonichi's forehead) His fever hasn't gone down. I think it might have gone up instead.

 

Rin: That would be just our luck. I wonder how he got like this.

 

Bio: Me too.

 

Kyonichi: Nnnnnn girls is that you?

 

Bio: Yes it's us. Do you need anything?

 

Kyonichi: Not now Bio I need you to do me a favor.

 

Bio: What is it?

 

Kyonichi: I need you to find the Earth Jewel. It has been lost for centuries. That is how I have become so weak. I have been looking non-stop for the Earth Jewel for almost six months.

 

Bio: Where do we start looking Kyonichi?

 

Kyonichi: The Earth Jewel is in the mountains to the north.

 

Bio: We'll leave as soon as we get the guys.

 

Rin: Good thing its summer vacation huh?

 

Bio: Oh yeah it is I completely forgot.

 

Kyonichi: Bio, Rin I want you to take Kikyu with you.

 

Bio: What!!?? Kyonichi that fever has made you delusional we can't take a little girl with us.

 

Kyonichi: She has been there with me before, She can show you were it is at. When you get there you and Sueichi have to combine your powers to open the lock on the door understand?

 

Bio: Got it.

 

Rin: Bio you go tell the boys what's going on and tell them to start packing and to pack light. I'll get Kikyu and we'll all meet in the park in thirty minutes.

 

Bio: Right.

 

Setting: The park on the South side. Haru and Rin are waiting for Bio and Sueichi.

(Awkward silence)

 

Haru: Okay before things get anymore awkward I just want to say that I'm sorry for being such a jerk earlier.

 

Rin: I'm the one who should be apologizing. I shouldn't have bitten your head off I was just really worried about Kyonichi.

 

Haru (looking disgusted): Yeah we might be in real trouble if any thing happened to Kyonichi. I knew it she really is in love with Kyonichi.

 

Rin: Hey Haru?

 

Haru: What?

 

Rin: How come when ever I talk about Kyonichi you look like you could kill him?

 

Haru: I……I…..I do not.

 

Rin: Yes you do to.

 

Haru: Wh…..wh…..why would I care if you talked about your boyfriend?

 

Rin: BOYFRIEND???!!! I don't have boyfriend.

 

Haru: Huh?!! I thought that you liked Kyonichi.

 

Rin: I do but only in the brotherly area. Wait a minute I get it now you were jealous weren't you?

 

Haru: I er I was. Okay yeah I admit it I guess I was a little jealous. (Rin starts to laugh and Haru looks completely broken hearted.) I guess you don't like me than.

 

Rin: I sorry Haru I shouldn't have laughed but I couldn't help it because all this time I thought you didn't like me.

 

Haru: Not like you? Are you crazy? You're the greatest person I've every met.

 

Kikyu: You two do know I'm standing right here.

 

Bio: Hi guys what we miss.

 

Rin: Nothing of any importance.

 

Bio: Okay than on to Spirit World.
