Chapter 1

 

One day when Yuki and Niro where in the karate class and where fighting each other for points and the all classmen, upper and lower, where watching. And when the girl that Yuki liked walked into the girls changing room Yuki lost his concentration and Niro got a superb kick in Yuki's side that sent him flying. When that happened Niro walked over to where Yuki landed and gave him a hand up when Yuki was standing Niro said,

“Why aren't you trying anymore? Is it because Yoko left? Where you just showing off for her?”

Naturally Yuki became pissed off and when they were back in their original fighting positions Yuki ducked Niro's punch and swipe-kicked Niro so he fell flat on his ass. When Niro got Yuki in a choke hold he said,

“I love it when you get angry.”

Later in the boys changing room Yuki and his entourage came in to find Niro him and in the midst of Yuki's little group he said,

“So, what are you going to gang bang me now? And here I thought you wanted me all to your self?” Yuki dismissed his group and told them, “Go home or whatever I'm going to have a chat with him and I'll see you at school tomorrow”

The boys made no verbal objection but none of them really wanted to go because they thought that Yuki was going to beat or kill Niro. Yuki and Niro looked at one another and Niro said,

“Great fighting today to bad your talent only comes out when Yoko is around” and with that comment Niro turned and left.

When Niro got home he started multi tasking by making something to eat and watching the television. He was watching something that was like Dr.Phil or Opera and they were talking about gays, one sided relation ships, coming out to our family and to a strait person that you like. Normally Niro didn't watch that type of show but since he was gay and liked Yuki he figured that it might help. And the show did help it gave the statistics for the rate of confessing to the strait interest and them saying its okay but no , saying no way in hell, I feel the same, and saying I don't know. This inspired Niro to confess to Yuki and see what happens.

At the next karate practice Niro asked Yuki if he wanted to practice some more after everybody left.

Niro asked, “Can your friends not stay and watch? Please.”

With that Niro walked away. Yuki's entourage saw the whole thing and walked over to Niro and shoved him as they walked by. When they reached Yuki one of them asked what was that they were talking about.

Yuki told them, “It's nothing, just a chat. Oh, I almost forgot I'm staying late today and I'd like to be alone. Okay.”

Most of them made it sound like they couldn't stay anyway and a few made it known that they didn't like it. So at the end of practice everybody left the changing room just like normal and went home. When it was just Yuki and Niro,

“I like you a lot, will you go out with me?” Yuki replied, “Sorry what did you say I couldn't hear you.” Niro said in a normal voice,

Niro said, “I know you like Yoko and that you're probably worrying what your friends will think…”

At that point Niro drifted off in what he was saying and he thought this was wrong in telling Yuki that he liked him. The next day was a Saturday and there was no school but there was a festival so Yuki thought that he would go out and treat himself to his favorite Raman stand. When he got there it was totally empty so he sat down and ordered chicken flavored Raman with a side of random sushi. Just as his food was being set in front of him another boy sat down next to him. Yuki had never seen him before so he really didn't care. The weird thing about this boy was once he saw what Yuki had ordered he ordered the exact same thing. He asked Yuki what his name was and introduced himself as Shino and said that he had just moved here and how his parents work over seas so their never home. Asked what Yuki's parents did and if he had any brothers or sisters, if he liked anybody, if he was single or taken. As Shino yammered on and on and on Yuki tuned him out and finished his food, paid and started to walk away when Shino appeared next to him still talking.

He knocked on the door Niro opened it and was very surprised to find Yuki, of all people, to ask if he could come in. Niro opened the door wider and Yuki rushed in and just as he closed the door another boy appeared at the top of the stirs and started for his door. Niro quickly shut the door in the boys face.

The first words out of Niro's mouth were, “What did you do to piss Shino off enough for him to chase you?”

Yuki explained the conversation that happened between them, and how rude he had been, how he didn't know why or how he ended up there.

Niro asked, “How could you not know who Shino Konoyama is, he is the one and only guy that is openly gay in our school. You are such a moron!” Then came a knock on the door and since Niro locked and chained it he wasn't worried at first, then remembered who was on the other side.

“Like I said he is not here, now answer my question what could he help you with if he were here?”

Yuki sighed and asked, “Well What are you thinking when you blew off the hottest girl in school? And since you did, what are your reasons for doing a stupid thing like that?”

Niro answered, “I don't like her so why should I go out with her if in the end I'll hurt her? And my first reason I said no was because I knew you'd act like this and my second was because I still want to go out with you even though its most likely not happening. Alright now you know you so I'll be going home since school is almost over anyway. Bye, hopefully you won't sit next to me tomorrow because I couldn't bare it. So get the hint alright!” The last two sentences made Niro tear up and he ran all the way home before Yuki got to talk to him about what he wanted to.

Yuki was walking home from karate and ran into Yoko, literally, when she was on the ground Yoko already knew who she ran into and was ready to take his complements and turn him down to a date and then kick his butt because he probably wouldn't take no for an answer.

Yuki opened his mouth to say something and Yoko thought here it comes but Yuki surprised her by saying, “I'll see you around at school I guess. Bye.”

And Yuki walked off in the direction he was going before. Yoko stood there and then started walking and she thought to her self

On the way home Yuki was thinking about all the times he had been together with Niro and when he thought about the time when Niro confessed that he liked him he found that when Niro Kissed him that, that kiss was his first kiss. I got your first e-mail and at first your plan seemed like a good one but then I thought about how much of apart of my life you are and I also figured out why I've been feeling weird the last couple of days, it's because you haven't been near me. He turned to her and before he knew what happened she had kissed him and ran. By the time the shock had passed he finally noticed the note in his hand it said:

Yuki ran to school and got there just in time to make the gate that closes right at seven thirty. He also ran to his first period and e-mailed Yoko

Yuki hit send and got surprised when she came in to second period and kissed him on the lips for all to see and as a greeting. Niro was in the back of the class at the time. He picked up all of his things and pushed passed the still standing Yuki and walked out of the classroom just as the teacher came in.

The teacher said, “Sit down now class is beginning.”

Niro looked at him and said, “No I'm leaving and hopefully I won't have to come back. And I really don't care if you try and call my guardians they really don't care. ♫Bye♫”

The teacher walked back out behind him and talked to him in the end the teacher excused him from school for the rest of the week, which was a grand total of two days. When Niro got home he got on the computer and started to play solitaire then after three wins and one loss he's inbox got hit with so many e-mails that Yuki had a massage pop up on his screen and it said that his current inbox was full did he wish to create another one or have the e-mails bounced back. Niro chose to send them all back. He looked at them and deleted all the ones that had to do with that morning or where from any one but Yuki. In the end there was a grand total of two left in the inbox. The first one was the original one from Yuki and the other was also from Yuki but came before the seen that morning this is what it said:

When Yuki heard how Niro said bye to the teacher he realized that it was the same way that he would have said by that way in the e-mail if he could so Yuki assumed that Niro had read the e-mail and started anther and sent it to him but it was bounced back which meant one of two things (1) that Niro wasn't accepting his e-mails anymore or (2) that his inbox was full Yuki decided that it was the latter and sent it again at lunch and this time it got through.

Niro was about to delete Yuki's first and second e-mails but a third had come in Niro looked at it:

Once Niro had read it several times he decided to e-mail Yuki back when Niro was done he hit send without a second thought. Niro new it would hurt Yuki and that it might hurt him in the long run but it would be worth it.

When Yuki arrived at home he immediately opened his e-mail and had found Niro's reply but was unsure if he should open it because of what the subject stated it was about. He decided to open it, this is what it said:

I HATE U I hope yr happy w/ Yoko and if you need a rebound don't look at me because I am now taken, yr an asshole and a manipulative son of a bitch u little unknowing freak of emotions I hope u rot in hell u bastard. Oh and if Yoko is out of your league what does that make me? You Suck! We shall not talk as long as I can help it and if you thought we where still friends after this yr really stupid. I HATE U

 

Yuki was so taken back that he had to read the e-mail three more times until it sunk in. The first thought of Yuki's was that school was going to be hell on Monday. Yuki didn't e-mail Niro anymore that weekend. On Monday Yuki noticed that Niro wasn't there and when the teacher called roll he skipped over Niro's name.

After class Yuki went up to the teacher and asked, “Why didn't you call Niro's name?”

“Niro won't be attending school here for some time.” Replied the teacher.

Yuki had a weird look that was half what and half are you insane. The teacher said, “He's being home schooled for a period of time. Now go to your next class before your considered late."

Yuki went to his next class and the rest of the day in a haze. When he got home he e-mailed Niro for the first time in a week.

Subject: we NEED to talk

 

We NEED to talk and I don't mean hate mail or talking on the phone. (which by the way we don't have each others phone numbers) I'm coming over on Wednesday after going to school. And I'm so sorry.

Niro slept all day Monday and at one in the morning of the fallowing day, Tuesday, he woke up and for no reason at all checked his e-mail. Taken back by the love part Niro decided to ignore that but Niro answered the rest though, “I liked the idea of someone watching me and when have I been mean to you and why would I want to be? The food had come while Niro was talking and neither of them spoke while they ate.

Shino thought and said, “ Well, should we tell everyone that we're going out?”

“I think that it is a need to know bassist if someone asked us to go out with them we'll tell them that we're taken and if they pause and ask who then we tell them. Right now I'm being home schooled. Remember that I haven't come out yet and I'm not openly gay like you. No offence.” Niro replied.

Shino agreed and they walled around town and went shopping and then saw a movie. (Yes they can do all that at one in the morning this is a city that never stops but does have a gate) Shino walked Niro home and gave him a peck on the cheek.

After about five minutes of that and up and down each others necks Shino said, “I should go before I force you to do something we'd regret in the morning. But I do love the fact that you're definitely the one for me.”

“Okay I have no idea how to answer to that but would you like to come over after school tomorrow?” Shino kissed him as an answer and started down the steps. When Shino reached the bottom of the stairs he turned around and waved.
