Chapter Eight

Door in the Wall

Introducing

(Alec Harson's Gang Bang)

As beneficial and amusing as this is, I didn't really appreciate being tied and gagged in the corner of the living room, while Colt and Greg played X-Box. The rather large bump on the back of my head wasn't helping my already 'kill all the asshole males in the room' mood. Yes, the two ruthless 'killers' were playing Halo in Dean's living room while I sat in the corner occasionally throwing mumbled insults their way.

This was probably the first time I had been tied and gagged in the house. Then again, there were a lot of firsts happening for me. And believe me I couldn't wait until Dean came back --- that is if he wasn't too upset about the whole phone thing. As soon as I regained consciousness not an hour before, Colt was on the phone to Dean explaining what had happened. Dean didn't sound very happy by all the yelling I had heard over the speak phone.
Colt threw a chip packet my way, which landed in my lap. The two jerk's had been throwing their trash at me for amusement for most of the day, seeing who could hit me in the head first and making bet's on who could make me more annoyed. According to the clock perched up above the television, I had been sitting --- very awkwardly --- in this corner for almost three hours since I woke up from my unconscious state.
Claudia had apparently been out shopping most of the day and when she got home, immediately hugged Colt and Greg. When she noticed me in the corner she plain out laughed and told them they were doing a good job. A British girl, in California, shopping… makes sense.
“Maybe we should untie her, Dean didn't exactly give us orders to keep her that way until he got back” said Greg, obviously done with his game against Colt. I glared, which came as more amusement to them.
Colt smirked before getting up and walking over to me, he bent down and carefully untied the balky cloth that had been attached to my face.
“You son of a ---” I started, but the rest of my colorful sentence was mumbled when Colt but his big hand over my mouth. I will definably be asking Alice for some mouth wash tonight.
Colt glared “If you keep quiet and don't pull another stunt like your previous one, I'll untie you. Okay?”
Too stunned by his sudden kind words, I nodded. He removed his hand, much to my satisfaction, and started to untie me. All the while Greg had on this child-like grin as he stood behind Colt, which kind of ticked me off considering my further predicament. I didn't even know these guys, Dean had just left me with them --- not like he was much better --- and I was yet again someone else's prisoner.
I hate my life, this truly sucked and when I got out of this mess I will never take my old life for granted again. That's if I got out of this mess.
“So, is her highness going to be good? Or are we to dethrone her and have her head chopped off by orders of the Master Dean?” Greg laughed, obviously the kid in this crowed of delinquents. Before when I had first seen him he seemed so quiet and cold, now he just seemed like a spastic.
I rolled my eyes; Colt's face took on a stoic look as he got up and lunged into the couch. I rubbed my wrists for the three-hundredth time that --- how long had I been here? I got up off of the floor and almost fell back down, good thing wall's are put in convenient place's or I would have been screwed a number of times.
“So, girl, what's the name?” asked Colt as he flipped through the channels, obviously not interested but seemingly wanting to know out of boredom.
“Um… Skye Glenn” I answered, still leaned up against the wall like an idiot.
Colt looked at me and laughed “Like, the Sky, Sky?”
I glared; I had heard those jokes to many times to count all through Primary school. Yet, here was a fully grown man teasing me about it.
“No” I growled through clenched teeth, finally able to stand on my own “My name has an 'E' on the end, making it Skye not the blue thing that covers our atmosphere and creates clouds!” by now I was very annoyed.
Colt narrowed his eyes, he obviously didn't like being made fun of or taunted when he was wrong. Greg laughed lightly, obviously not at ease with the glaring, but amused with the remarks that were made.
“So” I said, not liking the silence that followed “Since we're on the topic, what should I call you guys? Dumb and dumber or thick and thick-headed?” I folded my arms, trying not to laugh at the thought that Bec would have cracked a rib laughing at that insult. Oh course I already knew their names, but it was a start to breaking the uncomfortable silence.
Greg apparently saw the lightness in it and answered my question “The names Greg, can't give you my last name for the obvious reason's”
I nodded, that was understandable, but I didn't see the use considering Dean had already given me his last name when he went through the rules with me a couple of days earlier. Though it could have been a fake, and who knew how many guys that had the name Dean in America --- that really narrow's it down my search options.
“Colt” muttered the brunette from the couch.
I smiled “Like, the horse Colt?”
“Watch it” he growled and turned his attention to the small Television set opposite the couch. Him and Greg must have brought their own or recently put it in, because I didn't remember ever seeing a Television in this house, or anything high-tech for that matter except the basic kitchen intercom and fridge, phones and Dean's office equipment. It seemed to me like Dean wanted to keep the house as modern looking as possible.
“Never knew Australian's were so cheeky” laughed Greg.
I grinned his way “What gave it away? Dean?”
“Accent” he said and smiled before sitting next to Colt on the couch.
It surprised me, they seemed to have different attitudes to me only hours before --- minus Colt of course --- and now they treated me as if a friend. I kept thinking Colt only treated me like an idiot because of the low blow he took when trying to get the phone from me, but what did he expect me to do? Just stand there like a deer caught in someone's headlights? I don't think so; this girl has had enough of being pushed around like a rag doll and doing what these complete strangers want me to do. Of course, I would not put that thought into action just yet, these guys may kill me if they see fit to.
The second thought of surprise was the thought of this whole situation. Was I still the maid? Colt and Greg had come into my world just as fast as Spencer and Cole did, not to mention there were probably more of them hanging around. They didn't seem too worried about being caught for kidnapping, which lead me to believe they had done this many times before. How many times exactly? Even I'm too scared to find out; the thought that I would probably never make it back home was what scared me the most.
Confusion, my world was swimming in it.
More information was the key to solving all that bottled confusion, and what better way to get it then making friends with the answers. Even if these certain answers were rude slobs that found it fun to tie and gag a teenage girl, and that's after they knock her out with the handle of their very heavy gun. That was painful; I would have preferred the rag they used the first time.
“So” I sat down by the couch, which got an eyebrow raised from Colt's end “Guys, mates, men's” `God shoot me where I sit now!' What's this... whole thing about? You know, kidnapping?” Nice, real nice, why don't I just ask them for their phone numbers and home addresses while I'm at it?
Colt chuckled and shook his head “Let me make this simple --- you're the kidnapped, and we're the kidnappers. That's what's up with this whole thing”
I turned my head to the side slightly. Didn't Spencer say back on the plane that this wasn't a kidnapping, or something along those lines? I knew Colt was only being sarcastic, but I needed serious answers here. I decided to tackle this grasp of the situation from a whole new angle.
“I'm aware of that fact Colt. Anyway, what made you guys turn to this line of --- `Insanity;Delinquency;Illegal acts?' “Work…” That word works too, if you want to stay on their good side I guess.
Greg was the one to answer. With a shrug of his shoulders he said “Me, Colt and Holden, the tough looking guy that went off with Spencer, who I trust you already know by now, all went to school together and were getting no where fast with that crap, so why not join a Ring? Turned out to be a lot of fun and easy as hell to get into, as long as you had experience with weaponry and knew how to fight in hand and hand combat”
Now we were getting somewhere. Colt jabbed his elbow into Greg's shoulder and gave him a glare, obviously he wasn't supposed to tell me the last part.
“What exactly is a Ring? Besides from the little thing you put on your finger to make it look pretty” I asked.
Colt glared “None of your business, done with the third degree questioning now?”
I frowned and shrugged, leaning back on the palms of my hands “Maybe
A sudden loud crashing sound made me jump a mile high. I screamed as dust and bits of plaster landed basically on top of me. I covered my head with my hands, little pieces of rocks where still bouncing around and I was afraid I'd be hit with one, I already had a nasty lump on the back of my head to prove it's not fun to have things chucked at your cranium.
Shaking off the bits of rock and wood, I sat up, feeling for any broken limbs. I wasn't sure where the bits of wood came from, but looking back onto the bigger problem at hand, which was the seemingly large men that were making their way into the living room, I panicked. Before I could blink --- or do much for that matter --- Greg grabbed me by the waist and was piss bolting, with me over his shoulder, to Dean's office.
You would think the guy would put me down gently, but no, he chucked me into the room like I was nothing but air and closed the door behind him. I landed with zero grace on the floor, my body hurt and I was pretty sure I fractured my left wrist. I tired to stand up and yelled in pain as my arm gave way, could this get any worse? I could hear gunshots and men yelling from outside, I crawled over to the door to listen, I twisted the door knob and cursed Greg for locking it. What if they came in through the windows?
I was suddenly pulled back and behind Dean's desk. Tessa, Alice and Claudia were all huddled behind the desk, seemingly hiding. It suddenly registered to why Greg threw me in here.
“Why are we in here? What's going on?” I asked in a hushed tone.
Okay, maybe it didn't register.
Claudia snorted “Why do you think? Dean's office is like a freaking safe house. Bullet proof widow's, self locking door's, not to mention a food stash! I'm seriously not sure what's going on outside, we just heard the blast and ran in here” she snapped.
It's not like I knew this was some sort of safe house, I was annoyed at the fact she was treating me like an idiot. “Yeah, but how did you guy's get in here before me? I was closer to the office”
Claudia rolled her eyes and started to fix her frizzed dark red hair, seemingly not bothered by the commotion outside “There's a door over there ---” she pouted to the further end of the office, I went to get up and check it out when her ever annoying voice cut me off “Don't try it, all these door's automatically lock from the outside and can only be disengaged by a key card Dean carries with him at all times”
I groaned in an annoyed manner, trust that idiot to not leave another key-whatever with Alice. I looked over to Tessa and Alice “Is there any other way out? Besides through the living room that's currently being used as a war zone…
Alice looked around as she cradled a pale-skinned Tessa “Only through the window's lassie, but…” she trailed off, looking around.
“But what, Alice?” I asked, getting ready to shake the woman for her answer.
“There's a small door in the wall, just over there” she pointed to behind the couch “It hasn't been used for almost twenty years lassie, Dean's father used it as an emergency exit in case the home was ever raided by his enemies”
I nodded, it was better then staying in here like caged lab rats. There looked to be almost six guys out there, all armed I'm guessing and I doubted Greg and Colt could take on that many, the odds were against them and I wasn't waiting around to see what happens after they get their ass's kicked. I crawled over to where Alice had pointed, and tried to move the couch, but only having one fully functional arm made it a little difficult.
“Hey, Claudia, get over here and help me” I snapped.
Claudia stood from behind the desk and glared “Why should I? Ask Alice or Tessa!”
“For the love of ---” did she not realize we were dead if those armed men found a way in? “Tessa is sick and I doubt Alice can help move a two hundred pound couch!”
Claudia's eye's narrowed “Why would you want to go out there anyway? They have the weapons, not us”
I smiled and held my now throbbing arm “Would you rather wait until tomorrow morning when Dean comes back? Because I'm sure at least one those guy's seen me get thrown in here, twelve hours gives them a lot of time to try and force their way in”
Claudia's eyes widened considerably as she moved to help me with the couch. It took at least a good ten minutes to move it; it was like it was nailed to the floor. I noticed the couch was oak wood; no wonder it was so heavy. I was actually pretty proud of myself, I only used one arm and I was still stronger then Claudia.
“There” I said, thanking Jesus that we didn't have to move the couch back anytime soon.
Claudia glared daggers into my head, but I really didn't give a rat's hairy butt. I moved over to the wall, inspecting it inch by inch, there had to be some indication that a door of some kind was here, a crack was all I needed. My eyes widened as loud banging began to sound on the door, and too my horror it was coming from both doors we had come through. Shouts and laughter were heard as they tried to get into the room, obviously amused at something… or someone.
I clawed at the wall, feeling desperate to get out of that room. It surprised me that the paint didn't chip, my nails were pretty long.
“Alice, what kind of paint is this?” I couldn't see Alice, but I knew she was still behind Dean's desk.
“Its not paint Dear, its wallpaper Master Dean had put in a few years back” she answered, her voice shaky from fright. I could hear Tessa's moans but tried to ignore it, weren't they used to this kind of thing happening? Should I be scared if they are? Why am I the one over here and trying to save their butt's when they kidnapped me?
I shook my head lightly, they didn't do this to me (well, Claudia did make my life a little hellish) Dean was the one who did this, him and Spencer, Cole, all of them! I just came along for the ride and they just get a big pay check out of it.
I looked around frantically for anything sharp. I got up, still holding my hurt arm, and ran over to Dean's solid oak desk. I rummaged through his draws as Alice looked at me with curious blue eyes; I smiled down at her and Tessa before sprinting back over to the wall behind the couch. It was the first time I had ever used a letter opener, and I was using it for a purpose other then letters. I scraped it along the wall with all my strength, the wallpaper started to come off with every shred and too my great joy, I found the outlining of what looked to be a door. When standing it would probably come up to my waist, at least it wasn't a tiny thing that I could get stuck in.
I ripped the remaining wallpaper off and started to push on the door using my shoulder, with each throw of my body it would move about an inch or so. The banging on the door was growing louder and louder until I could plainly see the door shuddering from the blows they were making. With the final throw of my body the door came open and I fell into the dark space landing on my hurt arm. Through all the commotion and fear, I failed to drop the letter opener, so when I fell it jabbed into my stomach, making a small puncture hole.
I moaned in pain and got up, I felt like crying so badly, everywhere hurt and it was twice as bad as when Spencer and Cole had first kidnapped me. Tear's welled in my eyes, but I breathed in and limped over to where Claudia, Tessa and Alice were, but this time I remembered to throw the letter opener away.
“I think I found the door” I told Alice, wincing from every muscle I had to use in my stomach.
“Wait, you're telling me you want us to go through that door and outside, where people want to hurt us!” Claudia screamed. I had the thought to just leave her behind.
I helped Tessa up off of Alice, despite my own pain, and glared at Claudia. “I want Alice and Tessa to come with me outside to where it's safe, I'm not sure where your going” I replied “Look Claudia, they're trying to get in here, the last thing they'll expect is to find us outside when they're covering both exits” It seemed logical to me, but I had so many doubts at this point. I wasn't even sure who the 'they' I was referring to were.
Claudia, doing the only smart thing she had ever done since I got here, sighed and started to help Alice up off of the floor. Tessa, finally coming back to reality, was able to walk on her own and followed as me and Claudia made our way through the door in the wall.
