Hikari Mahoo’s
A series of Magical events
Prologue
childhoods are never really what they seem to be…when we're young we believe everything that adults tell us, we believe in magic and monsters under the bed.and elves, dragons and unicorns are things of bedtime stories and 'make believe', there is the odd child who really truly believes and even goes as far as to go looking for one such 'mythical' creature, of course, usually the adults that told the child about said creatures are quick to drum it into the poor confused child's head that there is no such thing as magic, fairies and unicorns and they should grow up immediately.you become a teenager you usually look down on those children that DO believe and haven't been brainwashed as of yet, of course there are the odd teens that the brainwashing didn't get to as much as everyone else, that still believe in their own way and have rather large imaginations. This story is about one such teen…it also has such things as magic, fairies, unicorns and dragons. Not to mention a secret government cover up, a boy who has a secret and a tumbleweed.…if this does not sound interesting to you in any way then the generation before you did a very good job brainwashing you and you should put this down immediately as it will go against everything you believe in and you will eventually put it down in disgust...if you still insist on reading this odd little story then you are without a doubt an odd un-brainwashed person or are being forced to read this by an un-brainwashed person. *teenager whose journey we shall follow is that of Gaia Neptune Solaria, a seventeen year old girl who deeply despises her given names and would have much rather be called something like Susan or Elizabeth as both are considered normal and therefore accepted much quicker than a girl called Gaia. As I mentioned, Gaia is not one of those children who were brainwashed out of believing at an early age as her parents were for lack of a better word 'gypsies' or as some other people who shall remain nameless called them…'Witches'. This was mainly because her mother made potions and told fortunes while her father did magic tricks for whoever would stop to watch. Gaia, on the other hand, didn't like anything that connected her with her parents; she would stay away from anything to do with magic while inwardly she had a large fascination with it and would sit for hours upon hours in her room under the bedcovers reading spell books she'd found in bookshops and libraries in secret. While still managing to scorn it outside her sanctuary, that forbidden place where adults were not permitted to tread without direct permission and an escort.the other teens in her school didn't care what she claimed to think about magic and the like, they treated her like dirt on good days…on the bad ones she was a rag doll they toyed with viciously and unrelenting; Gaia told no-one of this, she could handle it on her own, in her own time and I assure you, she can and will…From her red eyes that spook people with one look and long black hair with its white streak on the left side to her black boots, red tank-top under her tan jumper, black skirt and fish net long gloves. Gaia Neptune Solaria had a very unique gift…but that shall be thoroughly investigated later…for now…we shall truly begin this series of magical events…
