There was a baby's cry, and a doctor cleaned her, making sure that there was nothing left in her lungs. The mother happy cried at the sounded, but knew it wasn't over. The excited father at the mother's side waiting to hear the gender of his child.
" It's a little girl!" The doctor smiled at the parents, as she placed the child in the father's arms, for the mother's work was not down.
The father looked down at the little girl with a bright smile. The little girl looked at her father with big curious golden eyes. Her crying has stopped; she knew she was safe with his man. She gave him a little smiled. He smiled back at his little girl, thinking of a name already.
" Push, Mari," A nurse said. " The baby's almost out."
Mari, the mother, pushed. She cried out from the pain. The little girl didn't like to hear her mother scream like that. It broke her heart, but it was to get her sibling out, and she waited there in daddy's arms.
" It's a little boy!" The doctor handed the little boy to Mari, who kissed his clean forehead. The little boy managed a weak smile, though very sleepy from crying and fighting the doctors.
" Hun, what are we going to name them?" Mari asked her loving husband, Alder, who was still thinking.
" I'm thinking sweetie," He smiled, watching his little girl as he played with his fingers and look at her little brother. She seemed to what to beside her brother, yet not wanting to leave daddy. " I think I have names."
The doctor, and nurses looked at waiting to write it down on the papers to make it official. They had done everything else, just needed the names of the children.
" Jade and Jaden will them their names," Alder smiled at his children. " Jade Mari, and Jaden Alder."
" That's good," Mari smiled, rubbing what little hair Jaden had. His eyes were slowly closing, but he wanted his sister.
Jade looked at her brother, and then at her daddy and cooed. She wanted to be with her brother as he slept, even though she wasn't sleepy. Alder complied and handed Jade to Mari, who held her daughter close to her son.
Jade smiled at her brother, and he smiled back at her snuggling close. It was obvious that their bond with each other would be close, and there would be some bumpy spots. Mari and Alder knew that, they just didn't that their children were going to be different from most.
