New Love
Women in love. Be learned that really fast. She left her class that morning single. Be hadn't had many plans today. Just get through her classes. Fate is funny like that.
“Excuse me, miss,” a man's voice spoke up. Be turned around. She froze when she saw his eyes. The light brown made her heart melt.
“Oh…” she said. He blinked for a moment.
“Are you feeling okay?” he asked. Be quickly snapped out of it.
“Oh!” she said. She cleared her throat.
“Yes?” she asked.
“Um… I'm trying to look for this building here,” the man said. He held out his phone. Be leaned in for a look. His class was for political science.
“Ah, I know where that is,” Be said.
“You do?” he asked. “Can you show me where it is? Please?” Be's cheeks turned pink.
“S-S-Sure,” she said. The man bowed deeply.
“Thank you so much!” he said. He looked so beautiful.
“Sure,” Be said. She turned and walked down the hall. She blushed as he followed behind. Who was this man? How she had never seen him around before? Was he new here? Be slapped herself on the cheeks.
Come on, get it together.
“Are you sure you're okay?” he asked behind her. Her back became stiff.
“Uh… yeah,” Be lied. “Just a little hot.” She took a breath. He said nothing.
“Say, what is your name?!” she asked.
“Himura,” he said. “Himura Daisuke.”
“Nice to meet you,” Be said. “My name is Be.” The man broke into a smile.
“Nice to meet you, Be,” he said. She blushed again.
They made it to the building in question.
“Thank you so much,” Daisuke said, bowing.
“You're welcome,” Be said. He walked up to the building. But then Daisuke paused at the door.
“Can I see you again?” he asked. Be about jumped.
“Um… I… I… I guess!” Be said. She thought she was going to faint.
“Are you busy this weekend?” she asked. The girl covered her mouth. Why did she say that? It just came out.
“No,” Daisuke said. “Why do you ask?” Be stood up straight.
“Would you like to get some coffee with me then?” she asked. Her fast grew redder as she spoke.
“Why not this evening?” he asked. Be froze as she nodded.
“Yes!” she yelped. Daisuke chuckled.
“Well okay,” he said. “Let's meet at Starbucks at six.”
“Okay,” she said, nodding.
“Okay, see you then,” he said. Daisuke walked into the building. Be about fainted. Could this be the start of something beautiful? She was going to have to see.
