Rock Music Show
This was Kaz's idea.
“What?!” Charm Inu asked. Their manager smiled and nodded.
“Uh-huh,” he said. The band members stared at each other.
“Are we really going on NHK Music Bomb?” Hideki asked.
“Yes,” Kaz said. “But not just you.”
“Huh?” the band asked.
“What do you mean?” Isao asked. “Who else will be on the show?” The
manager took a moment to think.
“Let's see… Lady Dragon, Salt, and Devil's Train,” he said. Frowns
filled the room.
“Are you serious?!” Isao asked.
“The slot was open,” Kaz said. “I had to take it.” He pressed his
hands together and bowed his head.
“Please! Please do this for me?” the manager asked. “I am begging
you!” Kaz fell on his hands and knees.
“Please?” the manager asked. The band looked at each other. Unease
written on their faces.

-Wednesday Morning-
NHK Music Bomb was a morning music show. Some
of the hottest acts came for a shot at fame. Millions of house
parents tuned in out of curiosity. A new episode air today at
eleven.
In five… four… three… two… one!
“Good morning, Tokyo!” the host shouted into the mic. “Welcome to
NHK Music Bomb! I'm you host, Ono Sky!” The studio
audience cheered. Sky moved his hand up and down. The audience
calmed down.
“Ready for another exciting morning of music and trivia?” he
asked.
“Yeah!” everyone cheered.
“Okay!” the host said. “Let's meet our bands!” The spotlight turned
to the four bands. Everyone looked awkward or uncomfortable.
“First up is Charm Inu!” Sky said. “We have Isao, Katsuya, Tokuma,
and Hideki.” The crowd started cheering. The men bowed their
heads.
“Next we have Lady Dragon!” the host said. “Mai, Subaru, Kasumi,
and Yoko!” The crowd went wild as Mai winked at the camera. Isao
rolled his eyes.
“Next, we have Salt!” Sky said. “Say hello to Shinta, Snow, and
Kenta!” Cheers mixed with boos. Shinta glared.
“Easy there,” Sky said. “Let's go to our last band. Here's Devil
Train! Shinzu, Misao, and Blane!” The crowd cheered again. Shinzu
and Misao bowed their heads. Blane stood up and stuck out his
tongue out as he held out two devil signs.
“Yeah!” he shouted. The crowd grew uncomfortably silent.
“Uh… yeah… right…” Sky said as Blane sat down. “Now that we've met
out bands, let's start the games!”
“Yay!” the audience cheered. The host turned to the bands.
“Are you ready?” he asked.
“Yeah,” the bands said.
“I said, are you ready?” Sky asked again.
“Yeah?” the guests yelled.
“Okay!” the host yelled. “Let's begin!” A twinkle flashed in his
eye.
