Chapter 3
Koroku opened his dark green eyes and sighed. A year had now passed and he could now summon up to a level six. He was very proud of his success. His specialty was the summoning of Water Demons. No one knew of his training and Koroku thought it was for the best. If Rico ever found out about his secret training, Koroku thought that he would never see the sunlight again.
Koroku casually walked down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. He turned the radio on and his dark green eyes widened.
“Sh-She’s gone?!” Koroku gasped in shock and he jumped when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Startled, he turned and saw Rico.
“So, you care for that little run away?” Rico’s dark eyes held nothing but hate. Koroku backed up and gulped when his back hit the wall.
“I-I don’t know what you mea, sir.” Koroku silently cursed himself for his stutter.
Rico advanced, his dark eyes narrowed in anger.
“I know what you’ve been up to in the last year!” Koroku’s eyes widened of their own accord, as if someone had pried them open. Rico held out his right hand and it glowed green with a cold aura. Koroku inched to the left and darted past Rico and out the front door. He knew Rico was chasing him, but he ignored the pursuing Master.
Luck was on his side, however. He knew Sintia very well. He ducked behind buildings, walls, cars, anything he could find. Soon, Rico gave up the case and Koroku looked at where he was and saw he was in front of the abandoned building. Panting, Koroku opened the door and rushed upstairs.
“I need a plan.” He said to himself. He took a deep calming breath and ran over a spell in his mind. “I have to go after Kira!”
He chanted a Summoning Spell on a Water Demon. A blinding blue light filled the room. Koroku covered his eyes and opened them when the light faded, he saw his Demon. It looked enraged. She had brilliant sapphire eyes, short blue hair, and a katana at her waist; sky blue tunic and brown pants. On her right leg was a light brown pouch.
“What the hell is going on?!” she yelled.
A little scared, Koroku trapped the Water Demon in the Containment Circle.
“I’m your new Master! You must do as I say!”
The Demon pouted.
“Who are you?” Koroku asked.
“Mmm. Miya. And you?”
“My name is Koroku Mitzukita.”
