Kyle’s head was lowered and shaded over with his loose hair as he stood only a couple of feet away from Adann, “What am I going to do you say?” his voice was barley audible.
“Thats right. You have an unuseable arm that just so happens to be connected to the hand you use to hold your sword.”
Kyle was silent but his green eyes wondered from left to right until they landed on his two blades that were only a few feet away. He formulated a quick plan, and half of that was to dismiss the pain that his right arm was sending sporadically to his brain.
“Put the idea out of your mind of ever defeating me Kyle. Like I said before you are only a shadow, a very faint trace left behind by your parents and your brother. Your fate in this life was to suffer emotionally and to die detached, and alone.” Adann’s words came down upon Kyle like sulfur and brimstone.
Kyle was never this close to hell in his life. It was as if the Devil was giving him his death penalty. His head was still lowered as if he was submitting to what Adann was saying, but what the Devil standing in front of him did not know was the overly self-confident smile cutting across Kyle’s face.
“Do you ever shut up!” Kyle shot a glance up at Adann who was taken back completely. Kyle’s emerald green eyes gleamed with a full fledged plan, “Save your sermon for someone other then myself.”
Forgetting about the pain Kyle dashed to his right, his boots skidding across the floor stopping perfectly right beside his two swords. Adann’s face was in complete astonishment as he was surprised to see such a comeback, but he quickly gained his composure. Agitation and contempt rose to his face. He grinned his teeth together as he saw the cocky smirk plastered on Kyle’s face.
Without another word from both of them Kyle reached down and picked up both his swords and held them up in front of his face, forming an ‘x’. Adann also prepared and placed his sword diagonally to his face. Kyle shot into a sprint and did not move his gaze from Adann. Adann’s black eyes were like onyx mirrors reflecting the shinny metal of Kyle’s swords.
When close enough Kyle clashed swords with Adann cutting him back. Pushing Adann back with all his force he made him slid back to where his back was facing towards the curtained windows. Kyle retracted his swords and jumped back away from Adann. Kyle faltered a little in his step when he realized the mind splitting pain that went up and down his arm.
“In pain I see, why don’t you give up!” Adann said still in a blocking position.
“Why don’t you just be quiet!” Kyle whispered forcefully as a drop of sweat came down his face and dripped onto his sword which ran down the edge of the blade.
He took off again towards Adann this time he switched the way he held his swords, lowering Virgil’s sword and facing the blade upwards, and lifting his own sword where the blade was about horizontal with his upper head. Seeing this he knew right away Adann had no chance to block his attack with only one sword. This was the last part in his plan, if this did not work he knew nothing else would. ‘Lets get this over with’ Kyle thought.
He came upon Adann but without a word, Adann fell for Kyle’s plan. He saw that Adann was lifting up his sword to come down upon its prey. When he did Kyle slid, using the highly polished floor, and his leather boots, to his advantage. Adann’s sword came down upon him but his sword that he lifted above his head blocked the blow. Kyle cringed from the pain but found it very worth it as Virgil’s sword pierced threw the blood red crimson cloak of the man that caused him, and others, so much pain and sadness.
He felt Virgil’s sword go all the way through Adann’s lower chest. Blood sprayed outward from the exit wound spraying the pearl white curtains behind him. Kyle quickly retracted his sword and kicked Adann’s body away from falling on top of him. Falling against the curtains he left a blood trail as he fell to the ground in a sitting position.
