Original Stories Fan Fiction ❯ Restoration ❯ Uneasiness ( Chapter 6 )
D walked into the bedroom the next morning and smiled. The two of them slept soundly, their arms draped over each other's body. It was going to be a shame to wake them. Ryo stirred and Lee opened his eyes. He noticed D and sat up.
"What is it?" he asked as he stretched.
"How is he?" D inquired as Lee pulled up his pants.
"He's conscious. I'll be glad when he can see and his memory returns."
"Obviously you got him to remember your physical attraction to him."
"He was disoriented last night. I had to touch him. It was good. He was more into the feel of it since he couldn't see."
"Who's there?" Ryo asked as he slowly sat up. Lee took his hand and Ryo tightly clasped it. He felt the ring on Lee's finger and raised his other hand to Lee's face.
"It's me, honey. How are you baby?"
"Hungry."
"D get him a robe."
"I'm not your servant," D said and Lee glared at him. "I didn't mean it seriously. You really don't have a sense of humor, do you?"
"Would you just find him something? I'm going to stand up, honey. Just follow my lead," Lee said comfortingly as he slowly stood up. Ryo slowly followed him then started when his tail wrapped around his leg and Lee glanced at him.
"You're fine. It's just your tail," Lee said as he comfortingly ran a hand through Ryo's hair.
"Tail?"
"Yes. Now follow me honey."
"Here's a robe," D said as he walked back into the bedroom.
"Thank you. Can you help me get it on him?" Lee asked.
"Of course."
"Stand still dear."
Ryo flinched as Lee gently unwrapped Ryo's tail from his leg. Had he always been so helpless? He strained to remember as Lee put his arm through the sleeve. He wished that he could see the face of the person that was being so helpful with him. His hand brushed against Lee's hair and Lee stopped. He glanced at Ryo, whose eyes gazed sightlessly at him and tried not to cry.
"My condition upsets you, doesn't it?" Ryo asked as he wiped a tear from Lee's eye.
"It just hurts me to see you like this. I know it's temporary but it still hurts," Lee said as he embraced Ryo. Ryo ran a hand over Lee's ear, carefully feeling each line and texture. He ran his hand down Lee's neck and Lee pressed his face into Ryo's chest.
"I'm sorry."
"Lee you've got to learn not to get so emotional," D said as Ryo ran his hands over Lee's wings. He felt the smooth texture as Lee drew back. He gazed up at Ryo and blinked his eyes. Why did it have to be that poison?
"Are you going to feed him?"
"What?" Lee asked.
"Are you going to feed him? He's hungry," D said.
"Oh I'm sorry. I got carried away. Come on honey, let's get you fed."
"Are you alive back here?" Ikara asked as he walked into the bedroom.
"Get out of the doorway Ikara. Just follow me," Lee said to Ryo.
"He can't see," D explained to Ikara.
"Why not?" Ikara asked.
"The antidote affects his eyesight."
Lee led Ryo into the other room and forced him to sit down. He comfortingly stroked Ryo's wings and kissed his forehead. It hurt him to see Ryo so helpless. Ryo was the strongest demon he knew and for him to be struck down in such a way...It was only temporary, he reminded himself. But something temporary sometimes had a habit of seeming eternal. He shook his head and tried to appear confident. He couldn't worry Ryo with his concerns.
"Wait right here. I'll be back," Lee said and drew away from him.
"How is his highness?" Ord asked as he walked into the room.
"He's awake and he can move. He has no eyesight and no memory. He's also hungry. Might I bother you for some food? Possibly something easy to feed him."
"Follow me into the kitchen. You know his tastes better than I do."
"Do you remember anything?" D asked as he sat beside Ryo. Ryo glanced in his direction and shook his head.
"I think my sight is slowly returning. I'm seeing dark blobs instead of a continuous black," Ryo said as D took his hand. Ryo noted the touch and how it differed from Lee's. It was a soft, respected touch and Ryo guessed that the person currently speaking with him was not nearly as close to him as Lee was.
"Do you remember who you are?"
"No. Should I?"
"I'm back. How is he doing?" Lee asked as he walked into the room carrying a plate of food.
"He's able to see some depth," D said as Lee pulled a chair in front of where Ryo sat.
"Does he remember anything?"
"Not yet."
"I've got some food, baby."
"I can smell it," Ryo said as Lee leaned close to Ryo's face. Ryo opened his mouth and Lee placed a piece of bread inside his mouth. He removed his hand as Ryo began to chew the piece of bread. He waited for Ryo to open his mouth again and began to feed him some more.
"So he's moving. That's good," Raling said as he walked into the room.
"Careful dear," Lee said as he quickly drew back his fingers.
"Sorry," Ryo said and Lee smiled.
"I know you didn't mean it, honey."
"How long is he going to be like this?" Ikara asked as Lee continued to feed him.
"At least three days. It depends on how fast he recovers from the effects of the antidote," Lee replied as Ryo pushed his hand away.
"His appetite hasn't changed," D commented as Lee stood up.
"That's good. I would have been worried if he ate any less. I'll be right back honey."
Ryo stared sightlessly after him and sighed. He ran his left hand over his right, feeling the curves and ridges of the rings on his fingers. He wished that he could see once again as D sat next to him. He ran a hand over Ryo's ear and Ryo noted the touch. Again, the touch was completely different than Lee's. He didn't dislike it, but he preferred when Lee touched him. When Lee touched him, there was something more...He felt D caress his chin and closed his eyes. He wished he could see and remember.
Lee leaned against Ryo as the sea water lapped up against his feet. After Ryo had finished eating, Raling suggested that they take the prince outside and allow him to rest by the ocean. It was an extremely good sign that Ryo could walk and with a lot of assistance from Lee, they made their way down to the beach. Lee pulled Ryo's hair back into a ponytail as Ryo stared silently at the ocean, listening intently to its sound. He blinked his eyes at the ocean spray and flinched when Lee ran a hand down his leg.
"You're so quiet dear," Lee said as he moved his hand to Ryo's inner thigh.
"I can't do anything," Ryo said as Lee began to massage his leg.
"That's not true. We can still make love to each other and that's important."
"I don't like how you fawn over me."
"It's okay baby."
Ryo ran his hands down Lee's chest and Lee glanced at him. He smiled as Ryo moved his hands slowly down to his waist. He just wished that Ryo could see so that he could get the abuse he was so accustomed to. Lee watched Ryo's hands with interest as he felt Lee's body in attempt to gain a mental picture of him. He ran a hand over Lee's groin and Lee stiffened.
"I'm not going to hurt you," Ryo said and Lee looked at him.
"I wish you would," he said.
"What?"
"You don't remember how you used to touch me do you?"
"I don't even remember your name."
"Rub it some more. I like it."
"I think I'm starting to see color."
"Do it harder and I'll see things."
"What?"
"Nothing. Oh honey…"
Lee leaned back as he watched Ryo's hands. He sighed as he felt Ryo's movements. He watched as Ryo, through perhaps instinct, place his mouth over Lee's middle. Lee began to breathe heavily as he smiled in pleasure. This was the kind of attention he deserved. He sighed as Ryo continued to explore him. He felt his emotions rise as he felt Ryo's tongue explore his flesh.
"Do it baby," Lee gasped as he watched Ryo lean back. He sighed as he lay down in the sand. Ryo glanced at him and blinked his eyes. Something was definitely coming into focus.
"I'm starting to see something," Ryo said as he continued to blink his eyes.
"How's your memory baby?"
"My mind is still blank," Ryo replied. "Your hair is black, isn't it?"
"You can see color. That's good."
Lee sat up and gazed at Ryo. Ryo stared at him as he tried to focus. Lee took his hand and raised it to his face. He ran his cheek over Ryo's hand and sighed.
"Lee…" Ryo said and Lee stared at him.
"You remembered my name," Lee said as he embraced Ryo.
"Where are we?"
"We're at the ocean."
"Why?"
"Don't you remember what happened?"
"Vaguely."
"How's your sight?"
"Better. Come here honey."
Lee leaned closer to Ryo and Ryo kissed him. Lee closed his eyes as he felt Ryo's tongue deep within his mouth. D watched the two and smiled. Ryo was getting back to normal. Lee began to cry happily as Ryo drew away from him. He glanced at Lee and ran his fingers through Lee's hair. Lee ran his cheek over Ryo's chest as D walked up to the two demons.
"It's good to see you two like this," D said as he walked up to them.
"Lee you don't have to squeeze so tight," Ryo said.
"Thanks for remembering me honey," Lee said and Ryo smiled.
"You're pretty hard to forget."
"I'm not sure how to take that statement."
"Just wait until I've completely regained my sight. I'll show you how to take it."
"I like that tone of voice."
"You would. So where are we exactly?"
"You don't remember do you?"
"Not completely. Where's the human?"
"Ikara's checking the horses," D said as Lee ran his tongue over Ryo's ear. Ryo closed his eyes and smiled.
"How insane did you get during all this?" Ryo asked and Lee looked at him.
"I didn't get insane," Lee said.
"You are such a liar," D said and Lee flushed.
"Did you go psycho on them?" Ryo asked as he drew Lee away from him.
"He was really nuts about your absence. He doesn't do well sleeping alone."
"Did you try to get yourself going?"
Lee blushed as Ryo caressed his chin. He smiled as he ran his other hand over his ear. Lee watched Ryo and lowered his head in embarrassment.
"Notice how he's not saying anything," D said as Ryo ran his fingers through Lee's hair.
"Did you enjoy yourself?" Ryo asked as Lee looked away from him. "What are you embarrassed at baby? Are you ashamed that you couldn't keep your emotions in check?"
"I just started thinking about you and it got out of hand," Lee replied.
"You were worried that we'd never meet again, weren't you?" Ryo asked as Lee tried not to cry. "It's all right. We're together again."
"I'm sorry honey. I was just so worried," Lee sobbed.
"It's okay. I understand."
Ryo patted his head and Lee slowly smiled. Ryo gently kissed his lips and scraped his nails across Lee's cheek.
"Your tears capture the light of the sun so beautifully."
"You can see, can't you?" Lee asked and Ryo smiled.
"What do you think?" Ryo asked as he licked his lips.
"How's your memory?"
"Complete. You can stop being maternal now."
"What?"
"Something else has captured your attention, hasn't it?"
"I've just missed your forcefulness."
"I can see it in your eyes. Do I feel like complying with your desires?"
"Please do. I've missed it."
"When should we start heading back to the castle?" D asked and Ryo looked at him. Lee dug Ryo's nails into his skin and gazed pleadingly at Ryo. Ryo gazed at him and grinned.
"All right. You're going to have to wait for an answer. Someone wants some pain," Ryo said as he leaned closer to Lee.
