Chapter one - God… I hate New Schools.
As she entered her new school the girl wasn't sure she would be able to cope with the change. It was twice in this year she would have to go to a new school. It was ridiculous how many times they move just trying to get away from their past.
With a sigh the girl turned right into the English hallway. She really had no idea where she was going but knew that this had to the right hallway because they said the hallway with the obnoxiously colored walls.
“Are you kidding me?” She asked under her breath as she pause to look at the door in front of her. On the frame a little plaque said: “English 2 Honors. Mrs. Connors” She couldn't see any reason that should be able to fit on that little plaque.
Hesitantly she reached out and knocked on the door. Almost immediately the door swung open to reveal a lady I her mid-thirties with red hair and a frown.
“What do you want?” She demanded in a vicious tone. The girl quickly handed her the note. The woman took the note and with another frown let her in.
“Find a seat quick.” The woman muttered. “Wait what is you name again?”
“Livie.” She told her with a slight Czech accent with made the v sound like a w.
“Liwie? What kind of name is that for a girl?” The woman scowled.
“No ma'am it Livie. With a v.” She said making sure to pronounce it properly.
The teacher turned red and muttered something before returning to her desk. Some of the class snickered at the teacher's blunder while others just stared at Livie.
Bowing her head Livie made her way to the very back and sunk down into her chair after placing her bag down. To her right sat a boy with long blonde curly hair, he seemed mad at the fact that Livie sat next to him so he scooted away but kept a careful watch on her.
Levie sighed softly and studied her desk carefully. How could she deal with this stupid class in this stupid school. She frowned deeply blaming her father for doing stupid shit. He just had to loose his job again. Why couldn't he just be a good worker like everyone else.
“He's just an independent soul.” Her mom would tell her then laugh nervously. If he was so independent then why didn't he just go off by himself? The everything would be great. Mom wouldn't have bruises and they wouldn't have to move again.
“Livie pay attention.” The teacher growled slamming her hands down on the desk.
“Yes ma'am.” She sighed and looked up at the aggravating teacher.
The boy next to her snickered and wrote something down as if he had to keep track of it. `What's so important that he has to write it down huh?' She scowled at him. Which made him snicker again. She was starting to wonder what his problem was when the bell rang.
A few hours later and Livie was free to do what ever the hell she wanted. And as she walked out into the parking lot she frowned. Most of the kids here were able to drive… But she wasn't. The thought that she was the only one who didn't drive popped into her mind but then she saw the buses and walked over to them slightly relieved.
It was a short ride home and when she entered the room she smelt bread baking. It made her smile and reminded her of back when she was little and everything seemed wonderful. Her mother had always bake bread to for dinner, and her father loved that... Maybe it will make him pleasant today.
“Mama I'm home…” She called into the living room as she placed her bags next to the door and slipped off her shoes. No one replied to her call so she walked into the kitchen and switched on the light.
“Mama?” She asked looking around. It was starting to worry her, so she ran up the stairs to her parents room.
She heard a creaking from inside the room and placed her hand on the door.
Hehehe… Sorry cliff hanger… I'll get more up soon.
