Maven stumbled slightly and shook his head as he got the feeling back in his body. Looking up, his eyes met Shepherd's. "Who...are you?"

"The world's greatest dick," Sarah explained. "Don't listen to anything he says. Just ignore him and tell him that you don't want anything to do with him."

"Oh that's so much easier said than done my pretty." Shepherd looked at Maven and smiled. "Sixteen. You are so very special. So special in fact, that I made certain that should I ever find you again, I'd never lose you. Authorization code X-Ray Alpha Victor Indigo Echo Romeo 122352."

Maven froze. It felt as if every fiber of his being had suddenly locked up. Even though he wasn't speaking, it was as if he could hear Shepherd's voice inside his head. "Kill."

Maven's body shook and he closed his eyes.
"W-what are you doing?"

"My boy. You are a weapon. The greatest damn weapon I have ever made. You have no free will. Don't fight it. You are nothing more than a gun to be pointed and used. I'm pointing you at your target. So kill!"

Sven cocked his gun.
"Am I the only one getting a bad vibe about this?"

Maven turned to look back at them, his eyes solid black. "Kill," he repeated, his lips twisting into a devilish grin.

"Oh no. Let's keep him. Give him some scary clown makeup and he'll make the perfect serial killer. We couldn't just hand him over when he couldn't move then get away. No. No. No. That would have been far too simple and easy." Sven pulled the trigger, a bullet going for Maven's head. The boy just smirked as the bullet stopped in mid air just inches from his face. "Oh fuck."

The bullet turned around and slammed into Sven's crotch.

Evana pulled Skyla from Maverick.
"Evana!"

"Shut up! I'm not dying over this! I'm too fucking young!" She snapped and placed her hands on Skyla's throat. Skyla's eyes slowly fluttered open. Her eyes grew wide when pressure was added to her throat. She started gasping for air. "I will kill her, Maven. You know I will. And you know that if you focus on me and try to stop me, Maverick will have enough time to kill you. Don't do anything stupid."

"She can't breathe!" Lana screamed. "Let her go!"

"Oh, Maven doesn't have to stop you. I will." A voice echoed in all of their heads, their bodies suddenly motionless. A beautiful woman stepped out of one of the vehicles. She walked up, throwing her hair back and smiling, giving Evana a wink. "I have a way of getting in people's heads," she whispered, sliding a hand over Maven's body before pulling him into a kiss. "Kill them love."

Evana didn't back down. Her grip tightened on Skyla's throat and Skyla cried out.
"Ma...ven..."

Maven raised his hand and with a simple gesture he sent Evana flying back into the door of the building. The force of her body slamming against it crumpled the metal, nearly causing the door to buckle under the force.

Farrah's eyes went to Skyla's body, her lips smirking. "Shepherd this girl is a Xenomorph." She then looked over at Lana. "And so is that one."

"Oh really? What's their powers?"

"That one is strong, fast, and with exceptional eye sight. The other girl can see the past and future."

Shepherd's eyes widened. "Oh really?"

Skyla coughed into the ground and Lana rushed to her but she pushed her away as she slowly got to her feet. Rushing to Maven she hugged him close.
"Maven! Please! I know you can hear me! I know you are a good person! You can stop this! Remember everything we talked about! You have to remember!" she begged as she cried on his chest.

"Oh he is remembering," Farrah purred. "He's remembering his true past. He can't even hear you. Not that he would want to."

"Grab the girl. We can use her. The rest are of no importance to us," Shepherd said as he started back to the vehicles. Two guards walked up and grabbed Skyla while Maven and Farrah started back to the car.

"Maven! Maven! Don't let them do this!" she screamed as she fought against the men.

Maverick went to go after them but Evana grabbed his shoulder. She was banged up, but she knew, even with her strength, those people were way our of her and the other's league.

As soon as Farrah's mind effects wore off, Sven fell to the ground cursing. Sarah grabbed her gun, but by that point there wasn't anything they could do.

"So that's it? We just let them walk away with them?" Boris couldn't believe it. They should have fought. They should have tried to save their comrades.

"No," Maverick said and lighted Zenith. "We heal Zenith. She will show us to Maven." He hugged Zenith to him. "We'll return to Xavier and get better prepared."

"Wait a minute, am I hearing you correctly?" Sven got up, holding back the blood. "Did you just see what he did? He stopped a bullet just by looking at it. That was just him! There's no telling what Farrah could do or the rest of them. They let us live! Isn't that good enough?"

"If you don't want to help, then leave Sven. I don't have time for your fucking whining!" Maverick yelled. "So shut the fuck up or say something fucking positive!"

Evana's lips tightened. That sounded like the old Maverick.

"Fine. You want me to say something positive?" He reached into his pocket and tossed a small pad to him. "I put a tracer on him when I shot at him."

"Finally you are useful for something," he said and went to the car.

Skyla looked at the men around her. Every time she moved, they would push her to sit still. The car was tight, and crapped and she couldn't stop crying. She had blocked out all their pasts with her walls, but at the moment, she was digging through them to find anything to get her out of this car. She looked at one of the men. He had an injury in his leg. Another had a previously broken arm. She scanned them all, taking in their weak points. If she could just wound them long enough to make the car stop, she could run into the forest and they would never find her. Moving quick, she grabbed a knife from one of their belts. Lunging forward, she started hitting each of their weak points until the car was forced to a spot.

"I wouldn't do that," one of them hissed, ice suddenly began forming in the car as the window froze. The driver looked back at her, his face obscured by his black mask.

She screamed and hit at the windows but the ice was too thick. She called out to the animal in the forest, she knew they would hear her, but they were too scared to come.

"Trying to use your powers?" He laughed, frost escaping through the holes in his mask. He reached out, a wave of cold air enveloping her before it turned into ice, restricting her movements. "That ought to cool you down."

"You do not frighten me. Maven will come around. And when he does, you will be dead," she spat.

"Maven? Who's Maven?"

"Sixteen..."

"Oh, your little fuck buddy."

"Shut up!"

"Sensitive matter? Or are you just that sensitive down there? You know, before they test you I think it might improve the team's morale to have a little fun. After all. You did just hurt them."The men in the car starting laughing.

"I don't care what you do to me..." she said in a low, broken voice. She just wanted Maven safe. "I'm not afraid of the things this world so cruel deals. And I'm not afraid of death. Do your worst."

The vehicle came to a stop. "Shepherd. We'll be right behind you. Just stopping to properly restrain the prisoner." He nodded to the guards who got out, applying gel to their wounds to stop the bleeding. He got out a second later and walked to the back seat. He motioned to the ice, which forced her to move out of the car. Once she was out, he let the ice melt, but not before grabbing her and forcing her over the hood of the car.

Skyla cried out. She was shaking but she was ok with that. Her heart hurt but she was ok with that. Reaching into her head, she felt her body loosen, almost accepting him. She had trained herself for this. He may have her body, but her mind and spirit was no where near it. Slowly, her body went limp on the car, just as limp as it was those days she was in shock.

He frowned as her body went limp.
"Fucking bitch," he muttered. He unzipped his pants and freed his cock while pushing up her dress. Ripping her panties off, he stroked himself getting hard. While glaring at her limp form, he rammed his cock into her, the effect was much like pushing a popsicle into her.

Skyla pushed so far into her mind that she was reaching into the memories of others. She decided to watch Boris's over again. It was her favorite...up until the day his family was kill.

Another guard got in front of her, he forced her jaw open as his cock filled her mouth. The leader switched position so that another could force himself into her ass. The remaining two stroked themselves as they watched, getting ready to cum all over her.

Just then, something snapped in her. It was like she could feel herself becoming Boris. She pulled back from the man in front of her and back handed him. He fell in the air and she turn around, kicking one of them in the chest feeling their bones break. Wiping her mouth she grabbed one of them by the throat and squeezed until his head was off his shoulders. Of course, she was still in her head.

"What the fuck?" He reached out, ice erupted from his hand slamming into her, encasing her in the ice.

For a moment, she couldn't move. But with all the strength, she twisted her body and the ice busted. She landed on the ground.

He stepped back, unable to believe what she had just done. He growled and rushed her, his hand thrusting into her stomach.
"Let's see you like this." With his fingers inside her body, he let his ice begin to move through her insides.

Skyla cried out. Blood pouring from her mouth.
"Sasha..." she whispered before blacking out.

He pulled his hand from her, cursing as he wiped it off. Pulling her to her feet, he pushed her back onto the car.
"Bleed out for all I care. I'm not through with you yet," he cursed as he pushed into her again.

Lana looked at the trees from the window as Maverick drove.
"Is it just me...or has the trees...seems almost...sad?"

"Today's been a sad day all the way around," Sarah sighed as she leaned against the window and closed her eyes.

It grew silent and Lana leaned back into Maverick. She hadn't been able to stop crying since Skyla was taken.

"Hailey, give me some of that medi gel," Sven said as he leaned back and looked at his tracker. The signal was going off to the north. Military zone.

Hailey dug through her bag and handed it to him.

He took it and unzipped his pants, not even looking down as he dumped the contents on his crotch.
"By the time we go back to Xavier, by the time we are able to leave again...who knows what will have happened to them."

"Don't think like that, Boris...we need all the hope we can get."

"I'm sure Maven, or Sixteen, or whatever the fuck he's called will be alright. He's Shepherd's little lap dog."

"That wasn't Maven," Sarah said softly. "You heard Shepherd. He has some sort of control program on him. Not to mention that bitch who was with him. I still feel her fingers in my head."

"I could careless about him. He's just a puppet, there isn't much else they could do to break him. It's Skyla I'm worried about... There were a lot of men...and she's not use to..." she sighed.

"You tried to kill her..."

"I wouldn't have done it."

"You seemed pretty sure about it to me..."

"If I really wanted her dead, she would be dead."

"Wakey. Wakey," Farrah purred as she gently slapped Skyla's face to get her to wake up. She was completely naked and laying on what looked like an operating table. Behind Farrah was a guard dressed in the Xenomorph uniform.

Skyla's eyes fluttered open. Instantly her head hurt. They had her too far from nature again. She couldn't focus with so much metal and brick.

"How are you feeling?" Farrah smiled as she looked at her. "I heard the guards roughed you up a bit. You'll be glad to know that Subject Fifteen is paying for his actions against you."

Skyla's eyes lazily looked at her. She instantly covered herself and curled up on the table to cry.

"Shh, shh. What's wrong? Here, these are some of my clothes. They may be a little big in areas, but at least they'll cover you." She offered her some garments to put on.

Skyla pushed her hand from her.
"Do not touch me!"

"Okay," she said softly. She set the clothes down beside her. "There you go. I won't touch you."

Skyla hesitated but sat up and grabbed the clothes. Her hand went to her head as she looked at the walls. So much metal. It was like a box meant to break her down.

"Come on. Once you get dressed I'll take you to a place you'll feel more comfortable at."

Skyla looked down at her stomach. It had a few bandages on it. What happened to her? Why couldn't she remember? Slowly, she started to dress. Her eyes watched every move Farrah made. She didn't trust her at all.
"Where's...Maven...?" she asked as her wobbly legs connected to the ground so she could stand.

Farrah slowly reached out and offered Skyla her hand. "He's around," she promised. "He's just getting settled in."

She stepped from her.
"Don't touch me!"

"I'm just trying to help, Skyla. Really now. If I wanted to hurt you would I really be trying to help?"

She wanted something. Someone like her wasn't nice unless they got something in return. She grabbed the wall to steady herself as her head throbbed. She needed to get out of here. She didn't have a choice. Slowly, and cautiously, she took Farrah's hand.

Farrah gave her hand a comforting squeeze. She motioned for the guard to follow. She slowly led Skyla down several halls before coming upon a large set of doors. After entering her code, the doors opened, revealing a small forest.

Skyla's heart lifted. Tears streamed down her face and she ran into the tree. Going to her knee she buried her hands in the soil. It was real! All of it! She could hear the trees and feel the energy. It was all real!

"Feeling better?" She asked as she kicked off her shoes and walked on the grass.

Skyla turned to her.
"What...do you want?"

"Just to talk," she promised.

Her eyes narrowed.
"I want to see Maven."

"He needs to rest. To sort through things. You'll be able to talk to him later."

"I'm not talking to you," she said coldly. Going to one of the trees, she started climbing up it.

"What if I said that I could help you master your powers? You could be around humans without suffering."

"I've already fixed that," she said from the tree. "I made walls in my head to filter everything. I don't need your help."

Farrah nodded. "That's wonderful. I'm glad that you're learning to control your powers."

"Whatever you want from me, I can assure you it won't come easy. I want to see Maven. Until then, this conversation is over." She walked on the limbs of the tree and grabbed an orange. She hadn't had one since she was in her forest. But even then, her forest didn't look as green or produce as much fruit as this one.

"Very well." Farrah looked to the guard and nodded. His hands slid to his mask, undoing the restraints and taking it off.

Black orbs stared up at Skyla.
"Yes?"

Skyla jumped down from the tree. "Maven?" she said with a soft smile. Running to him, she wrapped her arms around him. "I'm so glad you are ok."

He looked at Farrah, awaiting for her approval before hugging her back. "I am fine," he assured her.

Farrah smiled to herself, mouthing the words in her mind.

Skyla pulled back from him and looked at Farrah.
"I'm not stupid. I can see into the future. I knew you would do that," she said with narrow eyes. Looking back at Maven, she placed her hands on his chest, feeling his heart. "It's alright...I don't blame you...this is not your fault," she whispered. "You still have the same heart beat so I know you are in there." Looking up at him she smiled even though she was crying. "I forgive you, ok?" she said and tapped his nose.
