Prologue- Abandoned…

 

“Damn this old man is heavy!”

“Shush! We don't want him to wake up until we've left!”

“Does Taurus really think he's going to rule better than his father or brother? I mean, that kid's a brat!”

“Shh!” The two men sat the body on the ground under a large tree.

“Are you sure we're in the right place?” The taller, black haired man asked.

“Yes, we are, our new and great Emperor Marcus Antonius Taurus instructed us to dump his worthless old father off in the woods of the Nordic Region and that is exactly where we have dumped him!” The shorter, blond haired man growled.

“Sorry! I didn't know you loved the brat so much!” The taller man shook his head.

“Whatever! Come on, let's get back to the horses and head on back to Rome!”

And with that, the two Roman soldiers left the man alone.

 

He sat there for almost 2 days until he was found.

 

Two young girls were walking alone in the woods.

“Katrin, what's that?” The younger, light haired girl pointed at something lying under a large tree.

“Looks like a person. Great. Just what we need,” The older, dark haired girl grunted.

“Let's inspect it!” The younger skipped over to the tree, “It's a man!” She smiled at the older girl.

“Even better,” She smiled sarcastically.

“He doesn't look from around here though,”

“No, he looks…”

They were interrupted when they saw the man begin to stir.
