"Don't scream," he whispered, holding onto her chain as they were pulled inside a building. She met his eyes, not sure how to feel. Once the transport stopped, he grabbed her and pulled her out with him. He hit his changer, trying to find a form. "We won't have much time. Just change so we don't get caught." He kept cycling through all the forms he'd already used, the stupid changer had shorted out during the fall so it kept getting stuck on the child form. "Damn it. Fix this!"

She moved her hands over it and pressed a form for him. He groaned as he stared at his form. Not one of his proudest forms, but the long haired blond would have to do. "Come on. Trust me and I can show-"

"You can show her nothing but misery," Gabriel said from behind him. "You disappoint me little brother."

Levy turned to his brother and pulled out a small black device.
"Take one step toward me and I detonate more charges!"

"Don't!"

There was a flash of movement and suddenly Levy stepped back as his hand fell to the ground, still clutching the remote. He tried not to scream as he held his bleeding nub of an arm.

"I am sorry that it came to this...."

Aura stood in shock. Her eyes hardened and she snapped the chain. It wrapped around Gabriel's neck and she pulled him to her as she round house kicked him in the face.

Just as soon as her foot was about to connect with his face, she was stopped and spun around until she was standing next to Levy once more. "That is not the appropriate way for a young lady to act," he said softly but with a hard tone to his voice. "Take her to a shuttle to Pandora. Bring my little brother with me."

"Like hell I'll go with you, you bastard!" he reached down for the remote, but a knife went through his hand. He yelled while he was being chained up.

"Levy!"

"Aura!" He cursed and struggled, but it was to no avail. The angels held him still while they pulled her away.

"Levy! Levy! Don't let them take me!" she cried as she fought against them.

Levy struggled and with one last burst of strength, he managed to break the hold of the guards holding him. Racing forward, he grabbed Aura, tossing her over his shoulder and running straight to the edge of Heaven's perimeter. Aura screamed as they started falling. They were going to die!

"Hold your breath damn it or else you're going to suffocate!" He growled when she kept screaming. Pulling her face to his, his lips crashed down over hers so she could save her oxygen. They were in free fall, falling hundreds of miles per hour while plummeting toward the ground yet for some reason he wasn't scared.

Her tears few behind them while her dress was being ripped apart. Seconds before they hit the ground, a light seemed to erupt from his chest. A sudden shockwave of energy slammed into the ground, knocking him out on impact, but shielding them from what would otherwise be an instant death. They hit the ground with him on top of her. She was shaking hard and still crying. Most all of her dress was gone.

Blood dripped from his ears, eyes, nose, and mouth, but other than that they were unscathed, well...that and his missing hand. The steady rise and fall of his chest, however, let her know that he was still alive, simply knocked out by whatever energy had saved him. She couldn't speak and she was too scared to move. In the back of her head she knew they needed to get back home. He needed a health needle and she needed...well...something that would stop the shaking.

Ever so slowly, his eyes opened.
"Where...am I?"

"Sky...fell...hot...fell...sky..." she mumbled.

He shook his head.
"Who...are you?" She started crying harder. This just couldn't get any worse! He winced as he moved his nub. Rolling off of her, he fell back, his clothes in shreds just like hers were. "Ow...." She cried for a long time, just getting it all out. "Why...are you crying?"

"I want to go home!"

He had no idea where her home was, but he nodded and wrapped his nub up. When he stood, what little bit of clothes he had left fall off, his good hand reaching down to pick her up. "I'll...take you home."

She sniffled. Her heart ached so badly. How could he not remember her? Slowly she sat up then blushed and covered herself. "Turn around." Some part of him still registered some attraction as his lower half hardened, his eyes traveling over her naked form, fixated on the smooth spot between her legs. "Turn around!"

He looked up and nodded, slowly turning from her. She grabbed the scraps and started tying them together. She made a set of panties and a very small top that mostly only covered her nipples. It was all she had. "Can I turn around now....?"

"Yes," she sniffled.

He looked back to her and gave her a small smile.
"My head...really...hurts," he whispered, stumbling slightly, trying to keep himself balanced. "Do you know who I am?"

"Levy..."

"Levy," he whispered. "That...sounds familiar."

"Can we go home now?"

"Yes...where is home?"

She slowly stood, wobbling. Looking around she noticed some familiar things. "Not far. Not far at all."

"Good, I don't think I can go very far."

Slowly she took his hand and they started walking. It only took a few hours and they were crawling inside the building. First thing she did was scan him and give him not one, not two, but three shots so he could re-grow his hand back. After the third shot, he began screaming. Never before had he screamed like that. He writhed on his bed, blood flowing from his nubs...even the ones on his back. She held him tightly, cradling his head while crying. The nub for his arm slowly started growing back, first bones began to spread across and then veins and flesh. However, the most interesting thing was the growths on his back which were growing larger. Soon a white feather fell onto her hands. She pulled back, eyes wide and wet. He was...an angel. He continued to scream into her flesh. Something was wrong. The more the nubs grew it was as if the flesh began to burn away by some unseen force stopping it form fully returning. Anya didn't know what to do. She had never seen this.

"It...fucking...hurts!" he screamed. "Take...take a knife...I need you to cut into my flesh."

She searched through things until finding a knife and doing as he said.

"Slice...into the back."

Her hands shook while she nodded and did as he asked. His back arched and he hissed as she slid the blade across the nubs, slicing the flesh off his back. He fisted the sheets, crying out into them. Since she removed the flesh with a knife, it wasn't trying to grow back which meant that it wasn't burning down.

"I'm sorry...I'm so sorry..."

"It's...it's okay.... I just...need sleep and an ice pack."

"I...have an idea." She helped him up and moved him to the showers. Holding him close she turned on the cold water and let it rain on them. She held him the best she could.

He leaned against her and the wall, letting the cold water wash over him. After a while he fidgeted and managed to turn it off.
"I'm good.... thanks."

She stayed there with him. He slowly turned around in her arms, his chest pressing against hers, the fabric from her cloth all but falling off of her. She didn't care though. She pushed his hair from his face and watched him.

"Aura...?"

"Yes..."

He grinned and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her naked form against his. "My head still hurts...but it's starting to come back to me. All of it....why I wanted to blow up Heaven. Who...what I am."

She moved her hand over his face. "Don't strain yourself. Just rest. I'll take care of you." She always does.

"I'm alright. I think. It's just...expending energy like that takes a lot out of me. The last time I fell from Heaven I wasn't so lucky. I messed up...whacked my head pretty good which is why I couldn't remember anything." She nodded. He leaned down and nuzzled her neck. "Your flesh is really smooth...and wet."

"The...shower... Please stop that..."

"Stop what?"

"Nuzzling...just...sit still." He nodded against her, his body relaxing against hers, his breath hot on her flesh as he stroked her body.  Now she shifted. "Ok...I think I'm getting up now. Close your eyes."

"I've already seen you naked, I doubt a few more seconds will matter."

"Close them!"

He grinned and slowly closed his eyes. She stood quickly and grabbed a towel then ran out. He stood at a much slower rate. Since the shower dried him off, he didn't bother with a towel as he made his way to his room. Aura was dressing in a silk nightgown. She had her hair braided to the side of her shoulder and was changing the sheets on the one bed. Since he had been gone, she had discovered a better clothes modifier and had cleaned the whole floor she was one. She had moved his bed to the floor below and actually made her room look more like a bedroom than anything. It was nice. Nicer than before.

He stopped when he entered her room, his face calm and stoic so unlike his normal attitude. In two strides he was to her, his golden orbs burning into hers. Despite the fact that he was naked, he didn't seem bothered. There was an urgency in his voice as he spoke.
"We need to talk." She blushed and held a sheet over his lower half. He reached up and caressed her cheek, forcing her to look up at him. "My head is finally clear, but I feel my thoughts clouding. I need to tell you what I know before I forget again."

Her blush brightened. He...had never touched her so...softly before. Shaking her head, she stepped back. "Alright, I'll write it down," she said and pulled out a digital pad. "Better yet, I'll let you record it so if you do forget, you'll believe me when I play it back."

He nodded and closed his eyes. "My name is Vashamel. I was an angel charged with protecting Heaven. I was beneath my brother in rank and power, but I was still proud to do my part. I soared through the skies once...but no more. Ia family in Heaven. A wife. A child. Even a pet.... But no more. My number was chosen, and my family was sacrificed." He opened his eyes to meet hers. "Heaven is an organic life form. It is a sentient machine which feeds off the life force of people to continue. That is why more and more people are brought to Heaven. It is so that when it consumes a family, another is there to take its place. No one says anything for fear of being the next to go. When my family was taken, I swore to destroy Heaven, and because of that I was cast down. My wings were burned from my flesh and my mind was zapped.... They cast me down, hoping I would die, but my body would not allow me to. However, my mind is still torn...still fragile. Already I am slipping, my memories fading, returning to nothing more than primitive thoughts and feelings."

Aura was silent. Her eyes swam in his and slowly she sat down. Was it true? Was Heaven...worse than Pandora? What little peace people had was spent in fear... Tears welled up in her eyes. Was life filled with nothing but heartache? Was there really no good left in the world?

He reached up and brushed the hair from her face.
"Do not cry. A face as gentle and pure as yours should not be twisted in such despair."

She pulled from him. "Stop it...you aren't really like this...kind and gentle..."

"Yes, you are correct. After my fall the only true sentiment I see capable of is aggression and anger. I am sorry for the trouble I have brought to you."

She wanted to laugh. Now he was apologizing? Now that he would forget and she would be stuck with the jerk afterward? That was just great.

His calm expression was suddenly twinged with pain as he held his temples. A soft hiss escaped his lips while he furrowed his brow.
"Not now...." She moved back from him and pressed save on the digital pad. After a few minutes his body relaxed and he sighed. "Damn...that hurts."

"Are...you ok?"

"Huh? Yeah. Just one hell of a headache," he muttered. She handed him the pad and pressed play. His face came on the screen and he started talking. He watched the video, surprised by what he saw.He had a family. Evil thing destroyed them. Now he destroys it. Simple enough. "Huh...so that's what all of this is about. Kind of convenient, I guess." She pressed stop before it went any further then pulled the pad back. "Why'd you stop it early?"

"There wasn't anything after. Just random talking. You saw what you needed to see," she nodded. "So I'll be back. I'm going to bring your bed back up here."

"We could always share a bed."

"No."

He smirked. "Why not?"

"Because...it's a small bed."

"So?"

She stood. "I'll be back."

"Alright. Don't take too long." She nodded and walked out. A few minutes later she came back in with a box. Setting the box down, she pressed a button and it changed into another bed. Of course by the time she was back, he was laying back on her bed staring at her ceiling. "Your room is kind of pink."

"There wasn't much paint to choose from."

"I'm just saying." he rolled over to face her, the sheet falling from his lower half. She turned away and went to the wall. Pressing a few buttons, a steaming fresh set of sheets came out for the bed. "So, what did Gabriel want for you that was worth kidnapping you and...well...waxing your body?"

"Just you," she said as she made up the bed.

"You certain he didn't want your body?"

"If he did, he didn't bother with it." He shrugged and pretended not to care either way. "I guess you can have my bed...since you seem at home in it..." she sighed. Moving under the covers of the other bed, she snuggled in.

"It is kind of comfy. More comfortable than what I've been sleeping on anyways."

"Goodnight."

"Night."

She pressed a button on the wall and the lights went off. The room went pitch dark. After a few minutes of laying quietly in his bed, he got up and walked over to where she was sleeping and slipped next to her.

Slowly her eyes opened and she turned to him.
"You're...naked..."

"Yep. That would be my cock pressing against your thighs."

She blushed and pushed him off the bed. "I'm fifteen pervert."

He landed and groaned. "Oh come on. It's not like I want to screw you. I'm not that desperate."

"Then sleep in your own bed!"

He got up and crawled back in bed with her. "Nope." She got up and out of bed. He grabbed her hand and pulled her back down. "You're blushing. You know that?"

She pulled her hand from him. "S-stop it..."

"Stop what?"

"What do you want from me? Sleeping in my bed, naked and pulling me to you.... I'm tired."

"Then sleep with me."

"No. I can sleep alone. In a different bed. Without being next to a unexplained naked man..."

He laughed at that and shrugged. "Come on. What's the worst that could happen? Who knows when you'll be able to feel the flesh of a man next to you again?"

He was just so mean. Why couldn't he be...nicer!? She shook her head at him and crawled in the other bed. "Don't come over here!"

"Too late," he smirked, his body already sliding next to hers. She stood again and walked out of the room. He sighed and got up, grabbing her arm and pulled her to him. "Come on. Just sleep."

"Stop it! You're just toying with me because you for some unknown reason think I'll never be with a man! You are not the only one out there! There are sweeter and nicer men! Men with more respect and kindness!" She pulled her arm from him. "I still have a lot of growing up to do. So I don't need you pressuring me into doing something I don't think is right and sleeping with a naked man isn't right!"

"Whoa...chill," he groaned, rubbing the back of his neck. "Look, I'm just pissed cause apparently I had a damn good reason for blowing up Heaven and you fucked it up."

"And sleeping in my bed is going to make you feel better?! I'm so sorry I wouldn't let you kill millions!"

"Bull shit. You heard what I said. I'd be saving them!"

"Let's see, they are living now, so killing them would be saving them?" She shook her head at him with narrow eyes. "Stay in your own bed! I'm not your cuddle buddy!" she screamed and once more got in the other bed.

"Fine," he groaned. "I didn't want to sleep next to you anyways."

She hated him. That was about all there was to it. When he wasn't trying to kill people, he was destroying her little life. It was several hours later as he tossed in turned in bed that he finally got up and started walking the halls. He was tired but he couldn't sleep. His head hurt and his back...his wings were aching. Phantom pain, he believed it was called. He didn't want to bother her since she seemed so peaceful when she slept, so he roamed the halls in an attempt to get his mind off of it.

Another handful of hours later, Aura woke. She noticed he was gone and assumed he was gone gone, as in left to kill Heaven again. Her heart fell though she was convincing herself it was because of the innocents that would die. Standing, she slipped the silk off her shoulders and let the gown hit the ground. Slowly she took the braid out of her hair then walked over to the clothing machine to pick out something.

"Yo...hello," he grinned as he saw her back side. She looked over her shoulder at him and blushed. Reaching back, she grabbed the sheet off the bed and wrapped it around herself before turning back to the machine. "No need to get dressed on my account. I'm starting to like seeing you naked."

"You are such a physical person...it's all you see...all you care about..." It was saddening.

"Hey, that's kind of offensive," he muttered. "I care about other things apparently. Like blowing up Heaven. Killing people. Things like that." Of course he was smirking as he laid back. "Besides. I thought you'd be happy. You're looking somewhat like a girl now."

"Do me a favor and leave already."

"Why? So you can get kidnapped again and fuck up my plans to destroy Heaven?"

"I didn't get kidnapped here. I got kidnapped while out going to my old home for some things."

"Well that was a dumb mistake to begin with."

"Look, if I do get kidnapped, I won't agree to helping to stop you. You said so yourself, your brother is strong than you. He will bring you down himself," she said and finally picked an outfit.

He rolled his eyes and muttered something beneath his breath.
"Yeah, cause there's nothing more than I love than committing suicide and dying to stop and evil galactic machine."

She took out the outfit and went to the bathroom. A few minutes later, she came out in a skirt and top. Slipping on some shoes she walked out of the room and started for her work room.

"Hey! Hold up, how do I work this thing to get some pants?" She moved to the machine, pushed a few buttons and threw clothes at him. He groaned as he grabbed them. "What the hell!? They're all pink! You know my color is black."

She smirked and walked out. When she got to her work station and put her goggles on, her fingers gently ran over the cheek he had touched the night before. A soft blush spread over her face and she smiled softly. Dropping her hand she picked up the tools and started working on nothing in particular.

He groaned, figuring the damn clothes would burn his skin when he got them on. The pink was practically blinding, even his boxers were! Going up to her work area, he gave her a death glare as he set down.
"Build me a new sword."

"No."

"Yeah. Make with the tech since you made me lose my last one."

"I said no. You are not the boss of me."

He groaned and crossed his arms. "Fine. What do you want in return for making me a new sword."

"The man I met last night..." she mumbled.

"Huh? What was that?"

She shook her head. "Nothing. I don't want anything from you other than to leave. Now preferably."

"Not until I have a sword. A black sword," he specified.

"No and no."

"Then I'm not leaving. I've got to figure out a new way to Heaven, and without a sword I'm royally fucked anyway."

"Then you'll have to go to some other tech person. I may not be able to stop you from hurting innocents, but I won't help you either." She started working on something but a piece flew off and headed for him. "Duck!" He looked over just in time for the projectile to slam into his head, knocking him down to the ground. "Oh, Levy!" she said and ran over to him. She pressed a rag to his head. "Can you hear me? Levy? Hello?"

His eyes opened slowly, and he blinked a few times, a curious expression on his face. "For someone who desperately wishes to see me leave, you seem awfully concerned about my well being," he smiled.

"I don't want you dead...who would wish that on someone?"
