"Wait...what?"

"Let's do it now!" Gia said and jumped up and down.

"Why?"

"Well I thought that was obvious...so we can be husband and wife silly."

"Yes, but what about a formal wedding?"

"That takes too long and I don't have friends or family. Can't we just go now and have something just for the two of us? It will be intimate and sweet."

"Very well. Intimate and sweet," Leo sighed.

She frowned
. "You...are not happy?"

"I am," he promised with a smile.

She shook her head.
"We can have a big wedding! Something fancy!" She ran upstairs. "Come on, let's look at things online!"

He grabbed her and stopped her. "No. This is fine," he assured her. "Just give me a moment to rest. I'm...just tired today."

She took his hand. "No, big. For sure." She smiled. "Go rest!"

He smiled and nodded. His body wavered lightly and he grabbed the wall. "Sleep...sounds good," he admitted. Slowly he started back to his room so that he could rest. She helped him with a concerned look and started to his room. He laid down on the bed with a sigh. "Just...a little rest," he whispered, already falling asleep before he could say anything else.

She sat next to him with a wet rag on his forehead. He tossed and turned for what seemed like an eternity. All the while he grew paler and paler. Blood began to trickle from the corners of his mouth while he slept, undisturbed by the events around him. Instantly Gia called 911 and had the ambulance come. In only an hour...she sat in the hospital crying.

The doctor patted her shoulder. "He is stabilized," he assured her. "It is just another one of his episodes...nothing more." She nodded though it didn't make her feel better at all. "I believe that he is going to have to stay here a little while longer, but he has woken up and he wishes to speak with you."

She rushed in and went beside his bed.
"Master! I was so worried!"

He smiled and patted her cheek. "I'm sorry that you had to see that, Gia. I'm just a bit weaker than usual.... Nothing to worry about."

"I'm going to be your wife someday...I'm going to take care of you," she said and laid her head on his bed while taking his hand.

He chuckled and stroked her hand.
"I am suppose to be taking care of you. Not the other way around."

"I don't mind," she said and sniffled.

"Gia...let us get married now."

She wiped her eyes. "But...I thought you wanted a big wedding..."

"A big wedding can wait."

She smiled. "Ok."

"Go get the clergy man from the hospital church."

She nodded and quickly ran out. Within minutes she brought the priest, and despite all logic they had an impromptu wedding their at his bed side. She held his hand and repeated her vows while smiling down at him. He repeated his, pulling her down into a kiss when they were pronounced husband and wife. She cupped his face and massaged his lips while smiling.

"You are now Gia Masters," he whispered as he stroked her face.

"I'm so happy, Master!"

"Leo," he said slowly. "You are my wife now. Call me, Leo."

"Yes...Leo."

He smiled and pulled her down to kiss him more. "I love you. No matter what happens. Never forget that."

She looked at everyone. "Ummm...please leave..." Slowly the all walked off and she crawled on the bed with him. He moved his IV's around so that he could hug her to him and let her snuggle against him. "Leo...I'm going to give you a blow job..."

His eyes widened and a smile graced his lips. "If that's what you want, Mrs. Masters."

She moved down his body and pulled up his hospital gown. Seconds later, her mouth and hands were working him. The entire hospital got an earful as the newlyweds enjoyed themselves. He moaned and said sweet whispers of love, his hands fisting the sheets while she sucked him harder and harder. She smiled up at him loving that he was enjoying the moment. The look on his face was one of pure bliss and love. When he came, he called for his wife, his back arching and the heart rate monitor going frantic. She pulled back after licking and sucking him clean. Pulling his gown down she laid back next to him. It wasn't long before he fell asleep, her hand wrapped in his.

A month later, Gia screamed in the hospital.
"You promise!??" she smiled. Her doctor removed her hands from her ears and took a deep breath.

"Yes, I'm sure."

Gia grabbed her bag and ran out the door. "Mrs. Masters! You forgot the pills!"

"Send them to my house!" she called and ran out. Going to the car she ordered the driver to take her straight to Leo's work.

Leo was busy overlooking the latest portfolios. Despite his doubt, business was doing better. With the new format, they were actually making money. If they kept this up he would be able to have some time off sometime during the spring. That would be really nice.

Gia swung his door open and started jumping.
"LEO!!!!"

His eyes shot up from his work, his hand going to his heart. "Don't do that! You nearly gave me a heart attack!"

"I have news!"

"What is it?"

"I'M PREGNANT!"

Leo's eyes widened, blood seeping from his lips as he started coughing. "What!?"

She quickly grabbed a rag and pressed it to his lips. "Should I call 911? Are you alright? Leo, say something!"

"I'm fine," he assured her, pushing her hands away to look at her. "You're serious. You really are?"

She nodded. "Drink some water," she said and handed him a glass.

He took the glass and downed it. The backwash was tinted red.
"How far along are you?"

"Two months. Are you ok?"

"I'm fine. Just having one of those days," he smiled. "I'm doing a lot better now that I've heard this."

She smiled and sat on his desk. "There is more."

"More? What's more?"

"There are two of them!"

His eyes nearly fell out of his head. "Twins!? You're having twins!?"

She nodded. "I guess they run in my family! Or yours!"

"Not in mine...." He smiled and kissed her cheeks. "Twins. You're carrying my children inside of you!"

She smiled and nodded. Lifting her shirt she pressed his hands to her belly. "I'm so excited!"

He rubbed her stomach, a wide grin on his face as he kissed it and nuzzled it. "You say that now, but pretty soon when the symptoms kick in you might not be."

"I don't care! I'm having twins!"

"I can't wait till you start really showing. You'll get all big, and then they'll start moving!"

She smiled and kissed his cheeks. "I need to get back to school. But I'll have dinner ready when you get home!" She hopped off the desk and picked up her bag.

He shook his head and smiled. He didn't think that he would stop smiling for the next seven months. He was going to be a father. Him! He couldn't believe it. Two children. Two of his very own and with the woman he loved more than life itself. The only thing which robbed him of this happy moment was the growing pain in his chest. Reaching out, he coughed into a cloth, more blood coming out, and it was a far darker shade than normal. His eyes darkened as he went about his work.

As promised, Gia had dinner set up on the table. She took off her apron and smiled at the meal then went to the door and waited.

He sniffed the air the moment he came home.
"Something smells good."

"Welcome home, husband!" she smiled and hugged him tightly. "Dinner is ready!"

"I can tell," he smiled. "You're the perfect little wife aren't you?"

"I try," she beamed. Taking his hand, she set his briefcase down and pulled him to the table. She got him seated before fixing him a plate and herself a plate then sitting next to him.

"So, baby names. Any idea what their genders are?"

"I go in next week to find out!"

"I'll have to go with you," he said excitedly.

"Alright!" she said as she ate.

"I'm thinking that we'll convert your old room into the nursery."

"It's too small for two! Let's do the room close to ours!"

"Okay. That seems reasonable. We can move out all the old stuff and start decorating just as soon as we find out what they are."

She couldn't help but smiled as she shoved food in her mouth. The next week, he was right by her side as the doctor began his examination. He'd missed a day of work just for this moment and couldn't be happier.

"And if you look on the screen you can see two healthy...boys," the doctor smiled.

"Sons...." He smiled and squeezed his wife's hand. "We're having boys!"

"Hmmm..." the doctor said as she looked around.

"What's that mean? What's 'hmm?'" Gia said frantically.

"I've...missed something..."

"What did you miss!?"

"There is a...third..."

Leo slumped against the wall
. "T-t-riplets?"

"It seems that this one was hiding the first time, but not that it's moved, I can see it as plain as day and it looks like it's....a girl."

"A girl. We're having sons...and a daughter." Leo just smiled, his eyes fluttering and blood seeping from his mouth as he fainted.

"Leo!" Gia screamed. The doctor ran out and ordered for help.

On the way home, Leo pouted as he stared at the ultrasounds.
"I don't see why he wouldn't let us stay longer. I just got too worked up. It wasn't as if I was going to die on his floor."

"You fainted...you've been fainting a lot...it's scary..." Gia whispered.

"It's nothing. It's just the news of the twins...er...triplets. It's a lot to take in."

"So...two boys and a girl...I knew I was a little big for two months."

"A little big? There's barely even a bump!" he lamented, wanting her to be much bigger.

"I've put on ten pounds in two months!"

"Ten pounds isn't a lot!"

"You are insane to not think so! Ten pounds in two months is unheard of for a normal pregnancy!"

"So? Thanks to your cooking I put on ten pounds in two months."

"You are only suppose to gain thirty pounds in a pregnancy for one baby! I'm going to be huge!"

He smiled and poked her stomach. "Yep." She slapped his hand. "Hey, no need to get angry. I think you'll look adorable, all large and unable to move."

"Continue to talk and I'll do more than smack your hand!" she pouted.

"What? So you'll gain ninety pounds and become a little rollie pollie, I'll still love you. There will just be more of you to love."

She glared at him. "I'm so not making dinner tonight!" She got out of the car, slamming the door and stomping inside.

Inside, a large meal was already prepared from the catering service he had hired. Following her inside, he stopped her and rubbed her belly.
"Mommy needs to eat up. You're eating for four now after all."

"You are making me sick..." she paused. "Oh no..." Running from him she ran to the bathroom and puked.

He followed in behind her and stood with her, moving her hair from her face.
"It's kind of late for morning sickness...."

"The doctor said every pregnancy is different..." she said before puking again. She flushed then stood and rinsed her mouth out.

"Feel better?"

She nodded.

"Feel like eating?"

"Yeah...but if you talk about my weight again, you aren't touching me until I say so!"

"Yes dear...."

She walked out and went to the table. He sat beside her with a bemused smile as she loaded her plate up high and started eating. In only minutes she had cleaned her plate and was thinking about snacking on something else. Finally deciding against it, she stood and took their plates to the kitchen to clean them.

Three months later, the fact that she was pregnant was painfully obvious. It was only her fifth month, and already she was having trouble walking around due to the massive orb of weight which was her stomach. Leo groaned in his sleep, his hand rubbing her naked belly with love as he started to wake up. Gia rolled from him and curled up into a ball.

He smirked and moved closer, wrapping his arm around her, or at least attempting to.
"Are they giving you trouble?"

She yawned and shifted. "I think the boys are picking on the girl again. My ribs hurt..."

"They're too young to pick on her solely because she's the girl," he whispered. He began to rub her large belly so that the children would calm down.

"I know them. And they are always pushing her. She's kicking my bladder because of it." She sat up and scooted to the edge of the bed so she could go to the bathroom.

He got up with a small yawn and stood by her bed side and offered her his hands so that he could help her stand up.

She stood with his help and moved to the bathroom. A few minutes later she was washing her hands and measuring her stomach.
"I'm as big as a full term mother with one baby..."

"And just think, you have four more months of growing to do."

"Shut your mouth," she pouted.

"That's a good thing. It means that our babies are healthy, and you are still as radiant as ever," he promised.

She turned to him and smiled.
"Thank you."

"I'm only telling you the truth," he promised as he kissed her.
