“I'll show you.”
I blinked, “What?”
I blinked, “What?”
He smiled and grabbed my hand, “Come on.”
He pulled me out to his car and held the passenger side door to his convertible open for me. I hesitated and blinked. I looked up at him and he was smiling at me, “Get in.” I hesitated again and he laughed, “Hey, I'm not going to kidnap you. Promise. Guardian's honor.”
My jaw dropped, “You're a Guardian?!”
He sweatdropped, “Shit… Uh… I… Not exactly but…” He ran his hand through his hair and looked away.
I laughed a bit and hugged him, “Hey, it's cool alright? What am I going to do? Kidnap you?”
He laughed, “So you getting in the car now?”
“Sure.” I smiled and kissed his cheek.
I got into the car and he closed it while blushing. He walked around the car and got in the driver's side. I looked at him and I could tell he was trying to hide the blush. He took a deep breath and his face slowly returned to normal as he started the car. He placed his hands on the wheel and sighed again.
I blinked, “Something wrong Shade?”
He frowned, “Setasha… I'm sorry. I don't think I should be showing you this… At least not yet… It's complicated…” He looked at me, “I mean, I just met you and everything…”
I smiled, “Hey, it's fine. You don't have to show me anything if you don't want to.”
He grinned slightly, “You… You're really okay not knowing what I was going to show you?”
“No… But I guess I can live with that… For now.” I laughed.
He blinked a few times then smiled at me, “Well, I guess we'll find out… So where do you want to go then?”
“Doesn't matter, you pick something.”
He blinked again, surprised, “You sure you want me to pick?”
“Yeah go ahead. I haven't been here long enough to know what's around here anyways.” I said laughing.
He smiled while turning the car off. He got out and I blinked while watching him walk around the car and open my door, “Come on.” He held his hand out, “It's easier to walk.”
I took his hand and stepped out of the car, “So… Are you going to tell me where we're going… or is it a surprise?”
He smiled while putting his arm around my waist and started leading me away from his car and down the sidewalk, “Surprise or course. Otherwise it wouldn't be as interesting.”
I looked at him when he slid his arm around me and blushed. I slid my arm around his waist as well as we walked down the not-so-busy sidewalk in the small town.
