Is it still me that makes you sweat?
Am I who you think about in bed?
Am I who you think about in bed?
His eyes stayed transfixed to her writhing form, never once letting his gaze go astray.
She thrashed around in a tangle of black hair and white sheets, sweat sticking the thin material of her dress shirt to her form. She was dreaming, a scary dream? An exciting dream? He really didn't know.
She thrashed around in a tangle of black hair and white sheets, sweat sticking the thin material of her dress shirt to her form. She was dreaming, a scary dream? An exciting dream? He really didn't know.
When the lights are dim and your hands are shaking as you're sliding off your dress?
He sat on a short chair by her bed, leaning his nose on the interlaced fingers of his hands, elbows supported by his knees, taking in all that was before him and branding it into his memory. She was on her back now, gripping the sheets with tight fists, panting. Saliva pooled in his mouth at the erotic sight.
Then think of what you did
And how I hope to God he was worth it.
When the lights are dim and your heart is racing as your fingers touch his skin.
She whimpered and arched her back. Her breasts rose in the air, clad in a now transparent white blouse. Apparently Chidori doesn't like wearing bras. He swallowed, teetering on the edge of some semblance of control. She moaned, her brows furrowed and her eyes finally fluttered open.
I've got more wit, a better kiss, a hotter touch, a better fuck
Than any boy you'll ever meet, sweetie you had me.
She let out another weaker moan and rolled onto her side, releasing the abused sheets from her grip. Her eyes went wide upon noticing her company and she shot up, her hands covering her mouth in surprise.
Girl I was it, look past the sweat, a better love deserving of
Exchanging body heat in the passenger seat?
No, no, no, you know it will always just be me
Exchanging body heat in the passenger seat?
No, no, no, you know it will always just be me
“Good morning, Chidori.” His outward appearance hadn't been the least bit affected by her little performance, save for a single drop of sweat trailing from his temple and the well hidden bulge in his pants.
Let's get these teen hearts beating. Faster, faster.
“H-How long was I sleeping…?” Her hand came down and sat delicately in her lap, and it was only when she hung her head in embarrassment that she noticed her state of dress, and the direction of her company's gaze. She froze up and looked up to notice the predatory smirk he wore. She took him completely by surprise and screamed.
“Hey!” She had jumped up and pushed him back on his chair. The thing overbalanced and he found himself flat on his back and granted with a generous view of her panties. She hadonly been wearing a blouse. She looked indignantly at his growing smirk and did the most convenient thing she could think of. She kicked him in the head and ran into her bathroom.
Didn't see that one coming.
He lay like that for a while, waiting for the throb in his head to subside. He got to his feet with a grunt and knocked on the bathroom door with the back of his knuckles. He had long since made himself comfortable and wore a loose fitting black basketball shirt and baggy pants that stopped just below his knees. He had carried her in from the alleyway the past afternoon and she had been out of it ever since.
“What are you doing here?!” She was close to tears, the last thing she remembered was a pair of dead, glassy eyes staring at her.
“More will come…” he said from the other side of the door. How do you explain to someone that they are a top priority target? “He came to kill you.I came to kill you…”
“Why didn't you kill me the other night?” a small sob echoed in the bathroom. “Why are people trying to kill me?!”
“These people…care a lot about money.” He rested his forehead against the door.

“These people…care a lot about money.” He rested his forehead against the door.
“There are a lot of people that want me dead then…what makes you so different? Why didn't you kill me? Who are you?!” There were too many questions, too much had happened.
“I don't know why I didn't kill you…I was ordered to… but I don't want your money…” He was answering the question with the first words that popped into his mind; he hadn't put together an answer of his own yet.

“Please, at least tell me your name…? It's not fair that you know mine.” She seemed to have calmed down, no current attempts on her life being made.
“I…” he let out a sigh, defeated so easily by her voice. “Entreri…Artemis.” the ensuing gasp caught him by surprise. Even the Japs know me, eh?
“Can…I call you Artemis?” she said after a pause.
Now that was a good question. The only person who had ever called him Artemis and had gotten away with it was… well, his mother. He blocked out the memories that threatened to bombard him.

“…Yeah. You can call me Artemis.” He closed his eyes. Say my name.
“Thank you…for saving my life.” Her voice was soft, she sounded like heaven, or what he imagined heaven would have sounded like, had he lived another life to make it there.

“More will come…” I want to protect you…
There was silence for some time, both relaxed in the other's company, despite the door that still separated them.

“Chidori,” He loved her name, it tasted so sweet on his lips.
“Mm?”
“Say my name…” It came out with an exhale of his breath; he had meant to say something else. Anything else. There was a pause and he clenched his eyes shut when he heard it.
“Artemis…” It was just above a whisper. He heard the telltale jingle of the doorknob as it turned and unlocked.
“Artemis…” It was just above a whisper. He heard the telltale jingle of the doorknob as it turned and unlocked.
In case I lost my train of thought, wherewas it that we last left off?
Let's pick up, pick up.
Let's pick up, pick up.
He lost control when she stepped out of the bathroom naked.
Oh now I do recall, we were just getting to the part
Where the shock sets in, and the stomach acid finds a new way to make you get sick.
The second the door closed behind her he slammed her bare back against it and attacked her lips with a hot kiss. She was driving him crazy. Her hands on his back, lightly scratching his bare shoulders was enough to make him tear her away from the door and cover her body with his own on her bed. He roughly groped a breast with his right hand and squeezed it with a moan. He earned a grunt from Chidori and slammed his lips back onto hers.
I hope you didn't expect that you'd get all of the attention.
He snaked his hands around her and palmed her ass, forcing her hips against his, grinding them together. The rough material of his pants made her whimper and she clutched his shoulders to push him away. He took the hint and backed off, giving each of them the room to rid him of his clothes.
Now let's not get selfish
Did you really think I'd let you kill this chorus?
She lay before him with her hair splayed out and a light flush on her chest and cheeks. She looked up at his toned body and met the fierce look in his darkened eyes. His image thrilled her, steam practically puffed from his mouth at the temperature of his breath. Artemis Entreri was simply sin.
“Chidori…when you were sleeping,” his voice was hoarse, his arousal having hit him full force the moment he saw her innocent eyes looking up at him, with no idea of the effect her enticing body had on him. “What were you dreaming of?” She answered simply.
“You.”
Let's get these teen hearts beating. Faster, faster.
He took her fast and lost control of himself, denting the headboard in the short time that his frenzy had lasted. He moaned her name and shuddered, nervous spasms occurring everywhere in his body as he gave in. He collapsed on his back beside her, sweaty and panting. Artemis Entreri was a selfish lover. Asshole.
She lay there all the while, disappointed but glad she was able to unwind him so effortlessly. It was nice though. It hadn't hurt as much this time. He steadied his breath and spoke,
She lay there all the while, disappointed but glad she was able to unwind him so effortlessly. It was nice though. It hadn't hurt as much this time. He steadied his breath and spoke,
“…Sorry.” It was the first time in his life he had ever apologized to anyone. She deserved an apology; he had been weak, inconsiderate.
“For what?” She turned her head to the side to face his troubled visage.
“I treated you…like a whore.” He turned his head to face her and swallowed the lump in his throat. “I'm sorry.”
She looked at him with rich, half lidded eyes and graced him with her beautiful smile. It was in that moment, on that fine spring morning, that he realized with painful clarity that he didn't deserve her.

They lay side by side on the bright green grass under the shade of a Sakura tree in full bloom. Cherry blossoms rained down around them as they looked into the clear blue sky, the branches of the tree casting interesting shadows on the unlikely pair as the sunlight struggled to make its way to them.
It was spring.
He hated the thousands of colours that surrounded him. They made him look so dull.
Better than winter, at least.
Some time had passed since their fateful encounter, but it was still spring. Chidori had made more progress at her parents' company and she was living her life the way she had been before the barrage of assassins sent it spinning. She just had someone to come home to this time.
She insisted he move out of his sorry excuse for an apartment and live in her home instead. She had fast grown accustomed to his presence and if he was so intent on guarding her, it would be easier if they lived together, he could protect her better, she had said. He had wanted to protect her from himself.
Neither of them knew what to call their relationship. Was it a relationship? They lived together, he had crept into her bed on many occasions; he was always nearby, even when she couldn't see him. Entreri had stayed by her side, something deep within him urged him to keep her safe, that she was something precious worth defending. More people had made attempts on her life, but the barrage had recently died down. The business typhoons behind all the attacks had apparently come to their senses and realized she had Artemis Entreri to put against them. Spending money on more assassins would be a waste.
“Artemis?” He was pulled from his thoughts by the sound of her voice. It had become a familiar sound, something comforting. He grunted in acknowledgement and she continued, “Do you…want to go out somewhere to eat tonight?” she was blushing and watching the sky when he turned his head to look at her.
You're so beautiful…
You're so beautiful…
“What for?” was his delayed response.
“Well, uhh,” she flushed more, fidgeting under his powerful gaze. “I thought maybe…because we've never really been…you might like to?” His eyes narrowed.
“A date?” He said, lifting a dark eyebrow.
“Y-yeah…” Chidori worked up the courage to look at him, he saw hope in her eyes, she inwardly cringed at his facial expression. “I know a nice place…do you want to?” She was almost pleading.
“Why do you want to go on a date?” He said the word like it was something meaningless. Going on one was unnecessary.
Her hands balled into fists and a frown marred her beautiful features. She slammed her fists on the soft grass and sat up, throwing him a look that knocked the wind from his lungs. Tears gathered in her angry eyes and she struggled to keep her voice from wavering,
“I just want to spend some time with you! I…I was trying to be romantic! You…you just want sex!” She was standing now, yelling down at him, “You never want to talk to me!” She knew it wasn't true. They did talk about a lot of things; he seemed to open up to her. They didn't even need to talk; in truth, they had grown exceptionally good at reading each other's emotions from their eyes, expressions and body language. She just…really thought he was being a jerk right now!
His heart rate had increased and a slow pain was spreading throughout his chest. She thought he only wanted her for sex? His face betrayed none of the raging feelings inside, his features emotionless. He slowly rose and reached a hand toward her.
I want you for you…
“Don't touch me!” Chidori half screamed, slapping his hand away as tears spilled from her eyes. “I won't let you use me like that anymore…I won't be your… fuck toy!” she turned and ran away. Entreri watched her in his stupor, running across a field of green grass and falling cherry blossoms, light pink sun dress glowing in the sun.
Will you have me for me?
Will you have me for me?
She kept running, never looking back. She didn't get very far. Her feet had been swept from under her somehow and she found herself suddenly falling forward. She roughly hit the floor and was turned face up, pinned between the grass and his body, covering the length of her. She looked at him with pain in her eyes at the harsh treatment. He grabbed her wrists and secured them above her head with a hand.
“Chidori…” He said softly, his eyes apologized for her pain. She looked away, her face resembling that of a defeated child. She knew she'd never get away.
They stayed silent; he rested his weight on an elbow, one hand cradling her head, the other holding her wrists. He turned her head towards him but she wouldn't meet him with her eyes.
“Chidori,” He didn't know what to say. He had so many things to tell her, but he didn't know what to say. She should already understand what she meant to him. Why couldn't she understand!? “I…” He veered off that course as fast as he had realized what he was about to say, trying a different approach. “You… don't like having sex with me?” He had never really asked her how she felt about it, he was too afraid of losing her welcoming embrace. She offered no response, so he continued. “I… don't pleasure you?”
“You have never pleased me.” She said instantly, acid dripping from her voice, meeting his eyes with her own powerful stare. Artemis Entreri was a selfish lover.
To say he was taken aback was an understatement. Her words cut through him like a knife, right to his pride, right to his heart. His mouth was agape. She had always welcomed his advances… she had always seemedsatisfied afterwards. I'm such an asshole.
He had no idea it was because she loved being with him so intimately, how much she loved being able to bring him pleasure. It would be much later when he realized that.
He made up his mind and brought her pleasure right there and then, on the open field of grass. He realized how much he loved the sound of her moaning, whimpering, screaming as she experienced her first ever orgasms, as he pleasured a woman for the first time. He realized he would be bringing her more pleasure from then on.
She was panting, half naked beneath his fully clothed body, a deep flush on her skin and a very satisfied expression on her face. Her dazzling eyes floored him. You're so fucking beautiful…
He dressed her again, supporting her dazed form as she sat up. He loved the look on her face, the rich taste of her on his tongue, the musky smell of her on his fingers. He would be bringing her much more pleasure in the future, he decided. He sat on his heels and took her hand, helping her to her feet.
“Let's go on a damn date.”

The solo violinist basked in a golden glow, playing his pride and joy with passion. His music reached out to the romantic room. The entire restaurant was glowing. She was glowing.
The chatter of many people could be heard, the clutter of plates and cutlery only a subliminal sound. Small round tables covered in deep red tablecloths that reached the floor were scattered across the elaborately decorated place. All around there were couples dining by candlelight.
He was tapping a finger irritably against the rich colour of the table, his chin resting on a fisted hand. Her lovely laughter sounded again as the wise-cracking waiter told her some lame-ass joke. The neatly dressed man was pouring her some red wine, trying to chat her up in the process. She just giggled away innocently. The sneaky bastard's eyes were raping her all the while.
Entreri narrowed his eyes, looking at her darkly over the light of the candle in the table's center. She was wearing some tight little black…thingwith a very low neckline. He wanted nothing more that to tear it off her writhing body and fuck her cute ass right on the table. He tapped his finger instead.
Another crap joke, undeserving of her ensuing laugh. How dare he make her laugh like that? He didn't deserve the pleasure of hearing it.
Only I'mallowed to make her laugh.
It dawned on him that he had never made Chidori laugh. He wasn't really a funny person, he himself had never had anything to laugh about…but he wanted so badly to be able to make her laugh. Her laughter meant she was happy. I want you to be happy…
“Some wine, sir?” Entreri snapped his eyes at the waiter; there was a mocking glitter in his dark brown eyes.
Entreri stopped tapping and used his hand to push his glass closer to the other man, loving the effect his stare had on the mere human. He promised him pain, suffering and death, without uttering a word. The waiter visibly gulped, said “Your meals will be out shortly.” and left. Entreri's eyes shifted to their next victim.
“What the fuck was that?” He peered over his wine glass at her as he took a sip of the passionate liquid.
“What the `fuck' was what?” she replied innocently, tilting her head to the side and running a delicate finger around the rim of her own glass.
“Oh, my, mister waiter, what a big wine bottle you have!” he said in the most girly mock voice he could muster. “His eyes were practically fucking you! You played along! What the hell?!” he inwardly welcomed the foreign emotion that was provoking his outburst.
She brought her hand to her mouth and struggled to hold in her laugh. She failed miserably. His stomach did a strange flip-flop when she let it out. He had made her laugh. I wasn't even trying!
Her laughter died down and her smile was replaced with a different look. He eyed her curiously; he'd never seen that expression before. She mimicked his earlier action and looked at him with dark emerald as she drank some of her wine. A shiver ran from his tailbone to the nape of his neck. The look on her face was sinister; and he found it extremely sexy.
He felt a dainty bare foot play at his ankle and almost jumped. It slid up his shin a little and went back down to slip under the hem of his pants, caressing the skin it found. Her eyes bore into him, their emerald darkening impossibly more. It was the first stare down he had ever lost, he was breaking under the shattering look she had locked on him. Her mischievous foot meanwhile had retreated from under his pants and continued its trek up his leg. When she got to his thigh she applied some pressure, massaging the taut muscle. She worked her way closer and closer toward his bulging groin. The pressure she was putting on the material nearby was pulling teasingly at him. She lifted her foot and lightly touched the tip of her toe to the prominent lump. She watched him shudder. She proceeded to put more pressure on it when,
“One Spaghetti Bolognaise and one Steak Dianne.” Entreri visibly paled when she pulled her foot away.
“The spaghetti for you, miss?” The waiter delicately placed Chidori's meal before her and turned to Entreri. His face was frozen, a little pale, but frozen. Void of emotion. His control over his expressions was remarkable. Nothing betrayed his state of desperation.
A small crack made its way from the rim of the wine glass in his hand to the base. Almost nothing.
“Sir?” It was the waiter from before. Both men's attentions were drawn to Chidori when she made a slurping sound and sucked in a strand of spaghetti. She wiped off the salsa that flicked to the side of her mouth with the tip of her tongue. They waited in anticipation as her tongue darted out to lick it off. She touched her finger to her lips and slowly drew the digit into her mouth. Two jaws went slack when she made a delicious small sound. Entreri was the first to recover.
“You can leave now.” He gave the man a vicious look. Back off.
The waiter gave a curt nod and left, valuing his life. Chidori giggled.
“What was tha--” Her foot was back on his crotch, pressing rapidly and with different pressures. He was rendered speechless.
“Oh Artemis, you haven't touched your food,” She sped up and his eyes rolled to the back of his head, hands fisting the red tablecloth. “Aren't you hungry…?” His eyes lowered to her full red lips and the instant image of them wrapped around his cock made him explode in his pants.
She pulled her foot away, a triumphant smile plastered on her face. He looked up at her, his eyes almost black,
“We're leaving, now.” He called the waiter for the bill and stood, grabbing her by the arm.
“But what about desert?” she had been looking forward to it ever since she saw the menu!
“You are desert.”

Teenage hormones were skyrocketing, they stumbled through the front door and he pinned her to the nearest wall. There lips were red and there was smudged lipstick everywhere but they continued to make out, thoroughly.
Entreri pulled away abruptly, his dagger came out with a flash and he had the intruder pinned through his chest to the wall in a heartbeat. Chidori screamed.
Entreri pulled away abruptly, his dagger came out with a flash and he had the intruder pinned through his chest to the wall in a heartbeat. Chidori screamed.
“Baxter…” his friend's blood was slowly escaping his body. There wasn't much time. Entreri wiped what lipstick he could from his mouth with the back of his hand.
“Heh, long time no see,” Jacks knew he wouldn't come out of this alive. He coughed up blood, specks of it dotting Entreri's face. He noticed immediately the changes in his long time comrade, the grey bags under his eyes had disappeared, his hollow cheeks had filled out and his skin had a healthy colour. He looked young again.
“What are you doing here?!” There was no way he'd let Jacks near Chidori. She was backed against her couch, between the wall Jacks was pinned to and the door opposite the wall.
“Relax… they aren't after her anymore.” He coughed more, his voice became raspy. They weren't after Chidori anymore. Shit.
“Why did you come?” Entreri was afraid of the answer. He had known from the fact that they had sent Baxter, they weren't after Chidori anymore. They were after him.
“I wanted…to warn you…” he coughed more blood between words, he was fading. “Someone big has offered more money. Much more…” He trailed off and Entreri shook him, trying to get as much information as he could. “He's back… he wants you…alive…” Entreri released Jacks in shock; the body slid down the wall and slumped at the floor. Entreri followed him quickly, kneeling down, anxious to hear more. “He'll get Chidori…he'll fuck her up bad…” there was a bloody chuckle.
“Shut up!” he threw a punch to the man's head. Silence. Entreri let out a sigh, Jacks Baxter was dead. “Go now… an otherworld awaits you.” I'll see you in hell, my friend.
Baxter slumped over more as the last of his life slipped away from him.
“Artemis…?” Chidori was approaching him and moved to put a hand on his shoulder.
“Don't.” His voice was harsh. He knew what he had to do.
“I… don't understand…” her voice was wavering, something was very wrong.
“You don't have to. I'm leaving.” He turned from her and made for the door.
“Artemis!?” It stopped him in his tracks; he turned his head to show that he was listening. “Please don't go… this man…what's happening?!” tears spilled from her eyes then, he could hear her heart breaking. She knew she couldn't stop him.
“Goodbye Chidori.” He steeled his resolve and clenched his jaw, forcing the emotion from his voice.
“Artemis…” Her voice broke and she let out a sob, her hands clutching her heart, she was so in love with him… she needed to know if he felt the same way,
“Artemis… do you love me?” He paused in his tracks again, but he didn't turn to regard her. The question ran through his head a million and one times, he was searching for the answer. He swallowed hard. He knew what he had to do.

“No.”
He slammed the door in her face and left.

`Do you love me?'
Chidori…
I'd die for you.
