GIRL!!!! yay! ::does the snoopy dance:: you let him live!!! that makes my day. i understand the falling into the hopeless romantic pit. it's a bitch to get out of. LOL. very well done. didn't expect chickidee to get the balls to shoot someone, but it fits well. at least he can't hold his past against her, she will know what its like to take a life. so...his dad...huh? why? ::scratches chin:: interesting. very well done with the characters. i loved the description and the depth. the plot was well constructed, and you could easily draw this out into a much longer story. VERY well done indeed. me's impressed!!!

Ax, that was lovely. The end was perfect, don't even think twice about it. It's completely unexpected that he live because in the beginning, he "died". This was an awesome read, just fab. I loved the fact that she shot that bastard. His father... wow. What did they want from him anyway? Bastards... *grumbles* Excellent work!!!

I loved it but I did kina' hope for a sad ending. That's okay, though 'cause I was glued to the angst couch the whole time I read this. Great story, Axel! I can't believe this was your first story! Fucking awesome! Love, love, LOVED! it!

Woo hoo! I got a chapter dedicated to me! Thanks, Axel! You can crank out the chapters, girl! (If Kiki updated this fast I'd never give her hell) ;) We're getting closer to our sad ending but it's a helluva ride. (Aren't you glad you extended this now?) Can't wait to read the next chapter to see what happens (I refuse to guess because I suck at it) :)

Great third chapter! You're showing us a bad guy that isn't completely bad but isn't really good either. I like that contradiction, especially since you can see Artemis warring with himself over these feelings. Love, love, loved it! Now I'll have to check out the art. Awesome update, Axel!

WOW. it hurts to read the ending first, because I REALLY like this guy!!! i don't want to see him die ::insert wail here:: You're right, i did have to read this to understand the drawing. but it all adds up now. ^__^ very good handle on the story; your control for your description and your character annalysis is amazing. i love your characters!! i'm praying that it isn' this throat that's cut at the end, but i'm sure it will end in a wirlwind of well written poetry. this story is superb! you're writing style is inspiring. your characters are drool worthy (i always love the bad asses written correctly). VERY VERY well done. the flow of your sentences is beautifully contrasted by the dark thoughts of your 'hero' (or is he?). all around beautiful job.

Axel that was great! I loved it. We got some character development and a little insight into the mind of our poor (soon to be) dead guy... We get one more chapter to flesh this all out before we go back to chapter one (so to speak). I love it. Thanks for continuing this.

First, I'm totally honored. Thank you so much for the dedication. I was floored. Second, this was fucking amazing. The ending made my eyes tear. It's like... you really made his situation real. I could see the blood, the torture, his need to do at least ONE good thing in his life, and the fact that he did it for love is what made it beautiful. When the bastard slit his throat, you could just feel the pain of his sacrifice. For a first try, you did a fan-fuckin-tastic job and I definitely want to see you pen more stories. Keiko and I have officially saved you a spot on the angst couch! ^_^
