A/N: Basically, all of the forums in this story except for, of course, Chao Club are fictional. And I'm going to use actual members as escapees, except myself. I'm not going to be in the story at all since I'm the author and it'd be weird for the author to be in their own story. If you want to be mentioned in the story then just say so. And I'm trying something new here with the talking bits which you'll see at the start of this chapter.
Chapter 4: Destination: Algeron
"So Rix, what's the nearest place that some of the escapees managed to get to?"
"I believe it is a forum called Algeron," Rix said.
"Algeron huh? Never heard of it."
"I have a holographic map that will lead us there," Rix replied while he pulled out a small cube that showed a hologram of a map.
"Let's get going then."
"Guards, go keep an eye on the prisoners," Blood said.
"Yes sir." The guards went out of the room into the dungeons below.
The dungeon halls were lighted only by tourches which were mostly used by the guards so scare the rats away. All of the guards hated being down in the dungeon almost as much as the prisoners. Dried blood here and there on the walls and floor, rats scurrying about, and water leaking from up above on the ground floor were very common within the dungeon walls. Crumbling rock from the walls themselves littered the floor.
"Damn I hate this place," one of the wandering guards said.
"So do I. I'd rather be upstairs in the army then being stuck down here as a lowly guard," another guard said.
"What are we doing down here guarding the prisoners anyway? It's not like they'll be going anywhere," the first guard said.
"Sometimes I just don't understand the king at all," the second one replied.
"So, what is your plan?" Rix asked curiously.
"I'm going to find all of the escapees, form an army using them, and have them attack Blood's army."
"What about Blood himself?" Rix asked.
"I'm going to fight against Blood on my own. I want payback."
Rix suddenly stopped walking when he see a sign that says, 'Welcome to Algeron'. "Well, we are here. Let's go," Rix said.
Suddenly Rix was almost hit by a lazer from a blaster.
Zedd appeared from behind a build in Algeron, "You two aren't getting away this time!"
Rix stared at Zedd, "I know you. You are Zedd, Blood's right hand man!"
"That's right tin-can, and you're about to end up in a junkyard where you belong!" Zedd said while pointing his blaster at Rix.
"Not if I stop you." Before Zedd was able to shoot either of them, UCM had used his sword to knock the blaster out of Zedd's hand. "Some right hand man you are."
Up on the roof of one of the building, Mark was there peering over the edge. Instead of his usual shot gun blaster, he had with him a sniper blaster.
'Zedd's plan is working perfectly,' Mark thought. 'Now all I have to do is aim this sniper blaster at the two Blood wants dead while Zedd is distracting them, and shoot them.'
Mark aimed the blaster and shot at them.
Rix jumped out of the way in time. It had almost hit him square in the head.
"This is all a trap! There is a sniper up on the rooftops!" Rix yelled, while running the get the blaster that Zedd was holding before hand.
Zedd suddenly knocked both UCM and Rix away, and retrived his blaster...
A/N: Nice way to end the chapter. With a cliffhanger.
