"D-dare desu ka?" Silence. ""Tell me!"

"You don't need to know." It was a low, almost scratchy voice. As scared as she was, Kusa grinned and laughed.

"Is that supposed to scare me!?" She quickly kicked her leg back between the man's legs and wrenched the gun from his hand. "Oh, I'm sorry, did that hurt?" Glaring at the man through tears, she put her finger on teh trigger and laughed maniacally.

Aren't you going to kill me? Little girl?" he said as he slowly raised to his feet. He had black hair, dark skin, and was Asian from what Kusa could tell.

"Anata no namae wa." Not sure if he spoke Japanese or not, she repeated it in English. "What's your name? Who are you?"

"Don't you remember 'Kuri-sempai?"

"Kuri-se..oh, you. I remember. Why have you suddenly come to find me?" Speaking of remembering, she said "Gakuto-san! Nande?"

"You like hm more than you like me, correct? I need him out of the way."

"No! You're the one who needs to die!" she shot the gun but the bullet only grazed past his cheek and left nothing more than a cut.

"You think you can get me? Kusa dear?" He jumped to the top of a nearby building and disappeared.

"Heh, I can smell your blood now. I didn't miss." Walking back, her arm was numb from pain and was bleeding badly, but she didn't mind it. As she walked to the spot where she left Hyde with Gackt, she felt lost. They were gone.

"I'm so useless. I can't even help my..." Ai shitemo ii kai..Yureru yoru ni aru ga... This was her text ring.

"we r in the hotel" the message said. She let out a sigh of relief and headed towards the huge hotel that was nearby. When she walked in, the manager asked her why she was bleeding so badly. Her story was that she was practicing with her sword and tripped. Luckily, the man bought it.

Once he was out of sight, she ran to the room given in the message. She flung the door open with her wounded arm, decorating it with blood.

"Hey." She tossed the gun towards Hyde and sat on the couch by Gackt, who was struggling to stay alive.

"Ka..mi..sa..."He breathed as he looked at Kusa,

"Huh? No, I'm.." she figured it would be no use. "Hyde, help." Motioning for Hyde to lift Gackt for her, she untied the sweatshirt from her waist and folded it to use as a bandage. "There, that should work for now I guess. At least until morning. Gackt! Stay with us! Please!" she begged.

"Kusa, you seem to like singing. Why don't you sing something. Maybe that song on your ringtone, with the cats?"

"I don't know why, but, sure." she cleared her throat and wiped her tears. "Dakara, nani mo iwanaide...kimi wo tada sukoshi ima wa..obieteiru, dake dakara..." she sang until the end. "Mata doko ka de kimi to aeru kara."

"Gackt? Gackt?"

"Hm?" he managed to breathe out.

"I'm glad you're still here. And I could hear you singing to U+K. Thanks for the help. Haha." She tried smiling.

Yea, don't leave us, ok?"

"Mhmmm." Watching the two smile, he said, "Kami-kun told me to stay..." Kusa smiled and opened up a picture of Kami on her mp3 player.

"Baka! Don't try to.." Hyde tried to stop Gackt as he stood up from the couch.

Kusa gasped. "Sa-san! No!" Still sticking to the name of her childhood friend. She tried to get him to lay back down.

"I'm fine. Ow. I guess it..."

"Gakuto! You'll hurt yourself!"

He grabbed her right arm and looked at her left. "No, you will hurt yourself if you try to go after that guy again. Right Haido?"

Hyde nodded in agreement. "Yup. We should go to the hospital for that arm of yours."

"Aww, but Hyde," she whined, "It's 3AM, I don't wanna go anywhere. Just get a towel and I can use that. And besides, what if Kuri-san comes back?" She let out a fake whimper

"Fine. Since I'm the only one not bleeding, I'll go get one from the lobby."

"I wanna go with!"

"Kusa, you have to stay here with me."

She sat down on the arm of the couch and sighed. "I guess you're right."

Hyde walked out the door and down the hall to the elevator. He remembered that he wasn't dusguised and hoped that fangirls wouldn;t be awake this late.

"Oh no." He threw his arms out in front of him as he saw a girl who had evidently just gotten out of the pool.

The girl stared for a moment before screaming "Haido-sama!!!"

By now, he knew of one way to escape. "Gomen nasai." he moved out of the way and saw the girl run into the wall as he jumped into the elevator.

"Awww."

"Phew." He put the hood up form his jacket.

Upstairs, Gackt and Kusa had already began gettting ready for bed. Kusa had to help Gackt, though. "Wait, you sleep..." she remembered and blushed. It shoudln't have bothered her, but she had reverted back to her normal, shy self.

"It's ok, I'll get my own pants off. Somehow..." Not being able to bend over wasn't convenient at all. He got into the bed, put a blanket over him, and struggled t use his feet to get them off.

"Stick your feet out the end of the covers and i'll pull 'em." she grebbed the end of his black leather pants and twitched from not being able to nag at him about animal cruelty.

"Thank you."he said. "What about you?"

She thought a moment and heard the door open. "Hyde!" She ran to the door.

"Come here." He ordered.

"Yes? What is it?" She asked and found herself in a tight embrace.

"Fangirls..are scary at three in the morning."

"Is that all? Hahahaha." Laughing, she made sure to lock the door. "Did you at least get a towel in one piece?" They walked into the bathroom and Hyde turned on the shower.

"Yes. Now, put your arm under here so we can clean it first." He helped her put her arm under the steaming water.

"Itai itai itai itai!"

"Stop moving! And stop growling, your not an animal."

"Am too! Humans are animals." She said back and grinned, as she always had fun telling pople that.

"Oh, where's.."

"Already in bed." Then she remembered that she needed PJs. "Hyde, I don't have anything to sleep in." she made a puppy face at him.

"Well, I suppose you could use my shirt. It'll be big enough on you." He wrapped the towel around Kusa's arm and tied it off with a kiss. Slipping off his baggy shirt, he saw as Kusa drooled and nearly fainted form trying not to fangirl scream.

"Iroppoiii!!!" she accidently let out her favorite Japanese adjective.

"Shhh! You'll wake the neighbors!"

"Oops, sorry." She slipped off her own clothes and put Hyde's red t-shirt on. "Paafekuto!" They both went into the bedroom and got into bed where Gackt was already asleep.

The two lay on either side of Gackt to make sure that he did not roll over. Before trying to get to sleep. Kusa looked around the area of his waist. There was a little lump just like how there always was in his pants. She giggle a little bit and closed her eyes.

"Haido?" she said about 30 minutes after they got into bed.

"hmm?"

"Still awake?"

"Yea." he sighed. "Are you ok? you sound like you're crying." Propping himself up on his elbows he could see that there were tears in her eyes.

Kusa moved her head to lay on Gackt's chest. "I'll kill kuri-san. He'll pay for this..."

"I'm sorry Ku-chan." Tears were also building up in his own eyes.

"I can't sleep. I'm leaving." She ran to the bathroom and got her own clothes on.

"Ku-chan! You can't leave!"

"Why not? It's better than staying here!" When she was alone with Gackt while Hyde went to retrieve his shirt form the bathroom floor, Kusa licked the blood form Gackt's lips. He looked so peaceful. "I love you..."

She ran out of the hotel door with the gun in Hyde's jacket pocket. "Hope he doesn't miss it." she thought while she ran to the alley. There was a smell of blood. It wasn't her own, and it was very faint. "Kuri-san!" She pulled the gun out of her pocket. "I'll get you. I can smell you, you can't hide."

"so, you've come back." He smirked. "How sweet." When he jumped off of the roof, his feet made a sof thud against the ground. "Come here, babe, gimme a hug."

"Never. And don't call me babe." Raising the gun, she aimed at his neck, but once again only scraped him. She tried to shoot again, but it was out of ammo.

"Kusa!!" Hyde yelled from behind Kuri, causing him to turn around. With him distracted, Kusa charged at him with a knife. As the knife pierced his chest, blood drenched Kusa's hand.

"Heh." Kusa laughed. "Don't think of it as revenge for Camui. I don't avenge human lives. Think of it as...for the non-humans that had to die for your leather jacket." To finish it off, she bit his neck and blood flowed into Kusa's mouth.

Being slightly creeped out by the sound of blood being licked up, he walked slowly over to Kusa and the corpse that she was feeding on. "A..are you ok? Kusa?" He jumped when she turned around with a glare in her eyes from the full moon overhead.

"Go away." She sounded terrible. In a matter of minutes, she had gone from a sweet, shy girl, into a bloodthirsty monster. When Hyde didn't leave right away, she just stopped and stared at the ground, licking her lips. "If I bite Ga-kun, he'll live forever, right?"

"Only if you're a vampire. But a nice girl like you couldn't be a.." he was cut off.

"Oh? Can't I?" She lunged at him with her mouth open, showing off her razor-sharp canine teeth.

"I'm sorry." Hyde whispered as he punched her in the gut so that she passed out. It was still dark out and not many people were in the area. This gave Hyde time to bring the woman back to her house. He slung her over his shoulder and decided that they would have to leave Gackt behind to be found.

As they approached her door, she woke up. "Nani?" Slowly, she remembered what had happened earlier that morning. A tear slowly rolled down her face.

"Oh, you're awake." He opened the unlocked doors and wiped her tears.

"Hai-san, is Gackt really..."

I guess so." They sat on the couch in silence until Kusa turned on the television, It was already 7AM and the news had just started. As the brown'haired woman started talking, letters at the bottom of the screen flashed blue. 'GACKT CAMUI FOUND DEAD IN HOTEL!!'

"Famous singer, Gackt Camui, was found dead in a hotel this morning around 5 o'clock AM. All that is known is that he was shot in the stomach and bled to death. The hotel maid service was checking to see if he knew that the other two staying with him had left. Another body was found in a nearby alley. This man was stabbed in the chest and had his neck split open. Nearly all of his blood was somehow drained in a matter of about 3-5 minutes according to forensic scientists. We currently have no suspects. Although he was reportedly sighted earlier walking with fellow musician, Hyde, and an unidentified American woman. We will update you on this tragedy once we..."

Kusa clicked off the TV when her phone rang. "Moshi moshi?"

"You-chan! Are you alright!?" It was Dani-chan.

"Yea, I'm fine." Her phone beeped to tell her that someone was on the other line. "Hang on one second." She switched to the other line and sighed to say hello.

"Kusa!"

"Kusa-chaan!"

"Kusa!" she guessed that Rei-chan was having a sleepover with Ja-chan and Chi-chan.

"What what what?"

"Are you ok?" Chi-chan asked

"Yes, I'm just fine! Now leave me alone!" she snapped back. Of course she wasn't fine. Her idol had been killed right in front of her eyes.

"Kusa-chan? Who called?"

"Oh my god! Is Hyde with her? Chi-chan! Gimme the pho..." Lacey got the phone right when the phone was hung up.

"It's no one." she got up and wakled slowly into her bedroom. Hyde tried o follow her, but she had locked the door. He thought this'd be a good time to call his wife. She was probably worried about him. He picked up the phone and dialed his own number.

"Hai, Megumi desu. Haido! Where've you been?"

He couldn't answer. "Could you meet me somewhere? I have no car and I have someone I need to take care of." He remembered the sword and knife collection of Kusa's.

"Of course. As long as this someone isn't a girlfriend." she said accusingly.

"Of course she isn't. She's actually one of my fans and, well, I'll explain when you get here." He gave her the address and said goodbye. Silence was coming from the bedroom and he got worried that Kusa may have already killed herself. Oi, what a day this has been he thought as he walked down the unlit hallway.
