"Sorry for the wait." she said. "You can go now."

"But, what about..." The 'vampire' started.

"You can go. If we need you, we'll call you. Just don't try to run. You're not totally free yet. Especially you, Areruson-san. You are the only one we have evidence against. Follow me." They all got up and followed her to the door. It was the same network of hallways, the same five minutes of silence, before they reached the door. Since the rest of the building was so dark, they put their arms up in front of their faces to block the noon sun.

"Ack. The sun is so bright. Can we hurry?" Kusa saw as Ichino scribbled one last note on her notepad as the three of them walked out the door. "Haido?"

"What?"

"Can we go to Gackt's place and say hi to everyone?"

"Sure, I suppose." Surprisingly to Kusa, Megumi knew her way there perfectly. "I wonder if they're taking the news alright."

"I'll bet they're fine." she smiled hopefully. "I'm even starting to get over it. Then again, I've had a longer time to get used to it..."She leaned against the window and fell asleep. She once again looked like a small child. She still was a child on the inside.Kusa thought it'd take a long time to get there, but it wasn't too long. It was 20 minutes before she was rudely awakened. Someone opened the door and she almost fell out.

"Huh?" Rubbing her eyes, she managed to get herself unbuckled and stepped out.

"Who might you be?" The man said.

"I'm Kusa. And you are..." she thought for a moment. Since she was tired and still half asleep, she couldn't quite remember. However, she did have pictures of the group on her mp3 player. She took it out of her pocket and looked through the GacktJOB folder. One of the first pictures was a group picture with the names under them. Seeing Gackt standing in the front, she smiled. "Chachamaru-san."

"Yes, that would be me." He saw her continue to click through the pictures and walked behind her. "Whatcha got there? A friend of Ga-chan's that we don't know?" He wondered as he saw a slideshow of Gackt.

"She was a fan we picked up when we were walking." Hyde explained. "Let's go inside. The sun seems to bother her."

"Yea, we can look at the rest later." Chacha grabbed her hand and led her to the door. Kusa wished she could have Chacha's attitude.

Once again being shy, she almost didn't go in, but Chachamaru tugged on her arm and pulled her through the door. "Hey, we have guests!" You-san got out of the chair and walked over to Hyde and Megumi. At first, he didn't even notice Kusa. She looked like she didn't want to be there. Which was mostly true, even if she had requested the trip. "Go on, introduce yourself."

"A..atashi wa Kusa desu. Hajimemashite." She intro'd herself and hid behind Chachamaru. Remembering that she was no longer a little girl and that they were just normal people, she stepped out while everyone giggled at her.

"We don't bite." said Yosh.

"Haha, but she does!" Hyde pointed at Kusa and laughed, causing her to flinch. She thought that everyone would take that seriously and be mad at her for being a vampire. All they did was laughed and told her to sit down. It felt weird being with his band when he wasn't there. The room felt so empty and she frowned and stared at her feet. GacktJOB was no longer.

"Is this how he felt when Kami-san died?" Her question broke the laughter and smiles on their faces. "You guys actually knew him though. Must feel ten times worse." You-san came over and sat next to her.

"Nah, I'm sure you feel just as bad. You saw it happen...him in his final moments..."

"How'd you..." she asked a stupid question.

"News travels fast with this thing we call television."

"Oh, right." She wished she would have taken the chance to run, to never have let Hyde take her to the police station.

"What all happened? Right now the news says your name, and that you..." he squinted to make sure he was reading the words right. "..Killed someone and drank their blood?! Is that what he meant by you biting?" He got up from his seat and looked at Kusa angrilly. "You killed him didn't you!? You killed that other guy because he saw it!"

"You-san! Get a hold of yourself!" Yosh said, trying to keep his friend calm.

"That's not it, you idiot!" Hyde yelled while he saw Kusa not being able to defend herself. She just sat there, didn't say a word, didn't move. "She killed 'that other guy' because he killed Gackt! She didn't do anything to him! Just chill!"

You walked back over to the couch and sat down. Kusa didn't want to sit next to him anymore, so she got up and stood behind Hyde.

"I'm sorry, Ku-chan. I didn't mean to freak out like that. I just...I couldn't help it. I'm sorry. Come back over here and sit."

"No, I'd rather stand. Thanks anyway." she stayed where she was. "So..what was he like off stage? Gackt I mean. I've heard people say that he was self-centered, conceited. I don't believe them, though.:

"Well, you were with him. He's the same as how you knew him."

"Uh...We didn't get to talk much. What happened wasn't really talking..." She blushed and looked at Hyde for help. All he did was looked away. "Um...."

"Ooooooh. I gets whatcha mean." Yosh laughed. "Was it good?" All Kusa could do was blush and stare at the ground in embarrassment.

Hyde answered for her. "She says it was wonderful." Megumi laughed a little bit, reminding everyone that she was there.

"Hey Megumi, how's the kid?"

"Fine. She's with a friend of mine right now. Speaking of which, I should get going. Is it ok if these two stay here for awhile?"

"Yea, we'd love some company. In fact, why don't you stay here for the night? That way, Meg-chan doesn't have to drive back, and we'll have an extra room so..."

"Well, if Kusa wants to, she can. But I have other stuff to do, so I'm afraid I have to leave as well. I'll see you tomorrow, ok? Kusa?" Hyde waved and started towards the door.

"Hyde-san, why do you just assume that I'd wanna stay?"

"Am I wrong?"

"No, but..."

"I'm sure you'd rather stay here than stay home tomorrow with Megumi and the kid."

"Heehee, right. I'll stay here then." She sat back down by You and hugged his arm. "You sure I won't try and kill anyone?" she asked sarcastically.

"Yup. And even if ya tried, I'm sure we could stop ya." Chacha assured her. "Do you want to go back to your house to get some clothes?

"No, actually I brought some with. They're in Hyde's car." Hyde went to out to get them. From inside, everyone heard what sounded like a gun shot. Kusa tried to get up to see, but You held her back while Yosh checked out the window.

"Let me go!" She struggled to get free. AN idea popped in her head. She turned so that she was facing You and bit his neck. All she meant to leave was a scratch so that he'd let he go, but it was bleeding quite a bit. He put his hand on his neck, releasing Kusa to rush to the door.

"Chacha-san! Get her!" Chachamaru was closest t the door. He reached for her, but she had already reached the door. "Ouch. That was...creepy. I didn't think Hyde actually meant that she'd bite me!"

"Hyde-san! Megumi-san!" Looking around, She saw nothing out of the ordinary. A few houses, the car, a few squirrels.

"Boo!" Someone jumped out from behind the car.

"Ah!" Kusa tripped and fell backwards.

"Hyde-san! You're so mean!" It was only Hyde playing a joke."Just gimme my clothes and go!"

"Aw, alright. You're no fun." He handed her the blue duffle bag and got in the car. Megumi sat up from hiding in the back seat. She, too, was laughing.

"Oi." She walked back in the house. "Haido-san wa baka."

"Anata wa bakemono! Stay away from me!" You wasn't joking. It was thanks to her that he had a hole in his neck.

"..hai..bakemono.." She turned around and went back outside. Hyde and Megumi were already gone. It was starting to get dark out, too. She sat down on the ground, leaning against a tree. Yosh was looking at her through the window. He tried to lip something to her. It could have been "Gomen nasai" but it could also have been "Go away." Being the negative person that she was, she doubted that it was the first one (which it was). All she did was glared at him until he went away. He didn't really go away. Instead, he came outside and walked up to Kusa.

"Kusa-san, I'm sorry for what You-san said. He didn't mean it. Come back inside, please? It's getting Dark out and you should get some sleep." He sat down next to her. "Hyde called and said you haven't slept for more than a day. You have to be tired."

"I'm just fine out here!" As she talked, her fangs flashed in the street lights that had just turned on.

"Well, if not for that, how about so that you don't attack someone out here? By the way, we have a job for you. Come inside. You's just in a bad mood. We all were for awhile."

She stood up. "And if I bite someone again?" Being negative was just how she was. This wasn't any different.

"Ok, stay here. I'll be right back." He left her standing outside. Five, ten, fifteen monutes passed. Out of boredome, she started twirling around slowly and singing the first song she could think of. "Ima koushite me wo tojiru to...Kimi no nukumori wo sagashite iru..." She sang the whole song. As she got to the last line, You walked outside without Kusa noticing.

"Kimi wo mamoritai." he finished it.

She turned around. "Oh..hey." she said with an angry but embarassed look on her face. "What do you want?"

"Uh..were Hyde and his wife ok?"

"Yea, it was only Hyde playing a trick on me. I didn't think Megumi was in it, but she was, too."

"Oh? So I can blame him for these marks on my neck?" At this, Kusa shrank back against the tree.

"Just go away!" Somehow, her mp3 player had stayed in one piece. It still worked, too. She took it in her hand and pressed play. The song was 'Mirror.' Not able to remember the words, she hummed the tune instead. You walked over and took it from her.

"Listen to me! Stop ebing so...childish! No one is going to get along if you're acting this way!"

Hey, You?" she saw the bite marks on his neck. It was bleeding, and it looked tasty.

"Hm?"

"Move."

"Whaddya mean 'move'?" He could see that she was staring at something other than him. Looking behind him, he saw nothing. "What is it? What are you staring at so intensly?"

"Your neck." she said with a quiet voice that You could barely hear. He had only heard the word "neck" very clearly. He wiped his hand over it and saw that it was still bleeding. Not alot, but it was enough to make Kusa hungry. All the sudden, her eyes got big and she dug her nails into the tree, trying to stop herself. She didn't want to lose it this time. "Move!"

"Come inside and I'll move!" He wasn't going to give her a choice. "Ku-chan, you will come with." Stuffing the mp3 player in his own pocket, he picked her up and headed towards the door. Kusa licked the blood from his neck. It tasted good. As the wound bled, Kusa licked it up. You was getting weaker and weaker. His legs collapsed beneath him. Close enough to the door with his feet, he kicked it to get someone's attention. The doorknob turned and someone walked out.

"Yosh! Tasukete!"

"I can see your talk went well?" he joked.

"Stop joking around! She's gonna kill me this time!"

"Gomen, gomen." He gave Kusa a shove and she fell off of the steps and off of You. He got his strength back rather quickly and stood up. Before he went inside, he grabbed Kusa's wrist and dragged her inside with him. Once inside, Kusa fainted. No one wanted to wait until she woke up to tell her the plan.

"Hey, You, go get a glass of cold water. And a bandage for yourself, too." Chachamaru said.

You walked upstairs to the bathroom. He grabbed a bandage from under the sink and a small cloth soaked with freezing water. "Oh, Kuuu-chaaan." He queezed the water out on her face. She didn't wake up, or even move.

"You-san, give her some blood." Chachamaru suggested.

"Are you kdding? She already almost killed me!" You clearly didn't like the idea.

"Fine then, I'll give her my own." He didn't want to waste time arguing ove it. "Open her mouth." You didn't want to touch her, so Yosh held her mouth open hil Chacha cut his hand on Kusa's tooth. After a few drops of blood, she started to wake up.

Who's blood is this? Doesn't taste like You-san's. she thought. How many of them did I kill? As she opened her eyes, she saw Chachamaru's face. You's quickly replaced it.
