Intro
He is no longer Dark, but golden, and he is beautiful beyond comprehension, though his beauty is cruel and cold and almost terrible to behold. Even now, his laughter is still menacing and brutal, and he laughs often-perhaps even too often, though he does not sound insane-in point of fact, he sounds all too sane. He laughs his brutal laugh and narrows his amaranthine eyes and concentrates upon his next victim, whose image he has stolen without scruples.

Date Seiji surveyed the individuals gathered around his table with no small sense of satisfaction. Lloyd was sitting next to his fiancée, Rya, with Ryoko glowering and looking on. Seiji allowed a small smile when Nasuti quirked an eyebrow and tilted her head toward their two-year-old son's room.
"Nasuti, it has been a while," Lloyd said, "three years, in fact. What did you name your son in the human tongue?"
"He is Date Hikari." Nasuti replied softly.
"Where is he?" Asked Rya.
"He is taking a nap." Seiji spoke softly as well. "Please do not wake him."
