Gene’s new adventure.

Chapter 2-The Detective.

~~~Starwind and Hawking enterprises.~~~
Gene packed his caster Gun into it’s case. I need to buy some more shells when I get to the town. He thought.

Jim walked into Gene’s room. “I just got a call from the space port. They said that the ship is prepped and ready to go.” Said Jim.

“What about Aisha and Suzuka?” Asked Gene.

“The same. Aisha’s getting overexcited and Suzuka is in meditation, like she’s getting ready to fight a huge battle.”

“She is. When we meet Ron McDougall again, it will be the last, he doesn’t leave alive.”

They heard a scream come from downstairs. Gene and Jim ran to the balcony railing. They saw a woman clad in black leather pants and Hot Pink halter top, standing over an angry Suzuka, while Aisha cowered in the corner. Her shiny brown hair flowed around her head and her piercing golden brown eyes shone with anger. Gene jumped to the floor. “Who are you?” Asked Gene.

“Well, that’s some welcome. Here I am, trying to offer you my help. And what happens, I get jumped by a former assassin and I scare a so-called Ctarl Ctarl half to death.” She said.

“I asked you a question!”

“Teresa Castalia, Blue Heaven Police Force.”

Aisha screamed. “Oh no, not you!” She screamed.

“Nice to see you too Aisha.” Said Teresa.

Gene clamed down a little. “So, what does the police want here?” He asked.

Teresa helped Suzuka up. “Like I said, I want to help you.” Said Teresa.

“What can you possibly help us with?” Asked Gene.

“Ron McDougall.”

Gene growled. “Sorry baby, but this is one criminal that you guys won’t catch.” Said Gene.

“That’s precisely why I’m here. If Ron McDougall is caught, he’s set to serve the death penalty. His victims need to see him serve this punishment if they’re ever going to be able to move on with their lives.” Said Teresa.

“I don’t care about any of that crap! There’s only one victim I care about!”

“I know, you’re woman, the bio-android, Melfina. She’s his latest victim.”

“How do you know about Mel?” Asked Jim.

“A friend of yours, Fred Luo, came to the police station. He was worried about you. He gave me the file on you, your crew and the ship.”

“It doesn’t matter, I’m going to finish McDougall once and for all.” Said Gene.

“I can’t let you do that Starwind, I have a personal stake in this too. And I won’t let you kill him until I’ve seen him pay for his crimes.” Said Teresa, getting into fighting stance.

“So, you want to fight me about this? Ok sweetheart, come and get me, if you can.” Said Gene, putting up his fists.

But his words were quickly drowned out as her fists flew into his face, her other landing a blow his stomach. As Gene doubled over, Teresa landed an uppercut, then a spinning kick into his mid-section, sending him flying into the wall. Gene got up and wiped his lip, seeing his blood from the tiny wound. “Bitch!” He hissed getting up to fight.

But was knocked right back down by a leg sweep. Then, a high-heeled boot was on his chest, holding him down. “Do you give up?” Asked Teresa.

“Never, but we’ll have another fight later. You can tag along, but you won’t stop me from killing McDougall.” Said Gene.

“We’ll see, but this is a good start to our partnership at least.”

She took her boot off him and held out her hand. Gene took it and let her help him up. “Let’s get going then.” Said Gene, grabbing his coat.

They all walked out to the Space port.
