It was a dark, gloomy night in the Chinatown District of Downtown Tokyo.

A cloaked figure strode briskly through the pouring rain, his fist clenched around his long trench coat, clasping it tightly at his throat.

Though his steps were long and graceful, his pace was hurried, trying to avoid becoming ill in the damp weather.

Upon enclosing on his destination, he glanced at his watch; 9:30 glowing in an intense red.

Thunder roared and lightning crashed behind him illuminating his figure for but a moment before returning to the obscure darkness surrounding him.

The shadow quickly reached the stairs leading to the front door of an ancient-looking building; it resembled that almost of an emperor's palace, although quite weathered from years of enduring the elements.

Striding up the set of stairs, an almost urgent manner to his steps, his coat fluttered behind him the cold wind of the night.

The mysterious figure soon reached the age-worn entrance of the old building.

He raised his fist, rapping his knuckles on the weathered wood.

No sooner had he pulled his hand back that the door creaked open, a bright light beckoning to him while standing in the outside shadows.

Walking through the door, the figure's eyes scanned the room, examining all of the oriental-influenced décor that spanned the entire walls.

The figure's eyes shot up to glance at the darkened hallway, a pair of gleaming eyes staring back at him.

"My sincerest apologies…" replied the figure in hallway as he emerged from the shadows. "I was tending to a few of my pets in the other areas of the store."

"It's quite alright." replied the first figure. "I'm aware that you are a very busy man… Count D…"

Count D strode into the brightly lit room, the edge of his tunic flowing behind him in the slight breeze caused by his strides.

"Well, that may be true… But, I'm no CEO of Kaiba Corp." replied D. "Now, I believe the question at hand is how may I help you, Mr. Kaiba?"
