Chapter 1

Angelyouko does not own characters the only characters she owns are Leonona, the two wolves, Victoria, and the customers as well as Silver Wing. With that said onto the story.

It was a supposedly warm day in Chinatown everyone is out enjoying the warm weather while it lasts everyone except for one person. "Orcot stop daydreaming and get back to work." The chief said startling Leon to the point where he almost fell out of his seat. "Huh what happened?" Leon asked. "You were daydreaming again." Jill said.

"I wasn't daydreaming I was thinking." Leon said. "About what?" Jill asked. "About who the murderer is in this case." Orcot said. "About time you put that brain to use." Jill said. "Oh shut-up hey chief I'm taking off early." Leon said getting up out of his chair and grabbing his coat left the police office and walked down to his lover's shop.

Meanwhile at Count D's petshop: "Thank you count I'll make sure to take good care of it." A young girl said walking out of the shop. "Enjoy your new pet." Count D said. "Huh oh Leon I wasn't expecting you home so early." Count D said walking up to Leon and kissing him on the lips. "Told the chief I was taking off early." Leon said.

"He won't get mad will he?" Count D asked. "Nah." Leon said and brought D into his arms. "Hmm hey where's the goat at?" Leon asked. "You mean T-chan he's around somewhere." D said. "Yeah well he better not bite me again or I'm going to make a rug out of him." Leon said. "You always say that." D said bringing out some tea and desserts.

"Hey lay off the sweets for a while your going to get a toothache." Leon said sipping his tea. "Leon there's something I need to tell you." D said. "What is it you sick or something?" Leon asked. "I'm pretty sure it's nothing more than a stomachache, however I have a feeling it has something to do with our love-making last night." D said.

***Flashback***

"Uhh Leon harder, harder that's it uhhh I think I'm going to cum soon." D said watching Leon slam into him. "So cum for me." Leon said and with a few more hard thrusts D and Leon came at the same time. "That was excellent." Leon said.

"What's our love-making got to do with your stomachache?" Leon asked getting up and walking over to his lover sat down beside him and put his hand on D's belly. "Leon please don't I really don't feel well." D said taking Leon's hand off his belly. "I'll go call a doctor baby you sit here and rest okay?" Leon asked. "There's no need to Leon. Victoria called the doctor's office a little while before you got here the doctor should be here shortly." D said. "You call sir?" A girl with black hair and blue eyes asked. "Oh Victoria no I was just telling Leon that you had already called the doctor." Count D said. "Oh okay, would you like me to bring some more tea?" Victoria asked. "That would be nice Victoria, could you bring some more fruit tarts as well?" Count D asked.

"Sure I'll be right back come on Q-chan you can help me." Victoria said as the little rabbit bat followed Victoria to the back of the petshop. "Hello this is Count D's petshop right?" A man with black hair asked. "Yes D's over here." Leon said and lead the man over to D who was moaning and rubbing his stomach. "Count D I'm Cody how are you feeling?" Cody asked. "Besides this stomachache I'm doing quite well." D said. "Any other symptoms I should know about?" Cody asked. "I tend to get dizzy a lot when I'm standing and I get sudden waves of nausea in the mornings." D said.

"Same time every morning?" Cody asked. "Yes I thought it was just the stomach flu, but I rarely get sick." D said. "Told you to lay off the sweets." Leon said. "That might not have anything to do with why he's sick, are you family?" Cody asked. "Uh I'm his boyfriend." Leon said. "Well then your about to be a father." Cody said hearing D cry out and rub the side of his belly. "Say what?! That's not even possible." Leon asked. "It seems your boyfriend is pregnant about three months to be precise. Course I must say I'm a bit surprised myself." Cody said patting D's belly where a small bump had developed. "Your going to have cramps for a while but they should be gone by next month come to think of it tomorrow's the first of the month I suggest you get plenty of rest and I'll be back some time soon." Cody said shaking Leon's hand and leaving the shop. "Count your tea and dessert is ready why the surprised face Leon?" Victoria asked.

"D's having a baby. And while we're on the subject how the hell are you having a baby?" Leon asked. "Oh Count that's wonderful how far along and what is it?" Victoria asked. "Three months and I don't really know what it is yet. And to answer your question love it's all a matter of mine being a Kami. " D said rubbing his belly. "May I feel?" Victoria asked walking over to D. "Here give me your hand." D said taking Victoria's hand and putting it on his tummy. "It's small but you can feel it." D said and gasped and looked down at his belly. "D what's wrong?" Leon asked running to his lover. "Leon I felt it move the baby moved." D said. "That's not even possible D." Leon said. "Ooo there it is again Victoria you felt it didn't you? Oh and Leon you want to know how I'm having a baby right?" D asked. "Where it came from would be more accurate." Leon said.

"Come here and I'll tell you." D said. Once Leon was close enough to D whispered something into Leon's ear and Leon jumped back eyes wide. "You serious?" Leon asked. "I'm very serious Leon." D said. smiling. "Remind me never to make you to you again." Leon said. D pouted and then said, "Leon Kami's tend to be in heat at certain times of the year and the day you wanted to make love to me just happened to be one of those days I was in heat. And it just so happened that I got pregnant in the process."

"Oh so it's my fault?" Leon asked. "Well it's both our faults if you think about it yours for wanting to make love to me, and mine for letting you make love to me." D said.

"It's getting late Victoria could you close the shop for me?" D asked. "Yes sir." Victoria said. "Leon could you help me up?" D asked holding out his hand. "Come on D let's get you to bed." Leon said helping D off of the couch. "Thanks Leon." D said. "Count D the shops closed would you like me to stay for the night?" Victoria asked. "That would be wonderful Victoria." D said laying his head on Leon's shoulder as Leon rubbed D's belly. "Hey that tickles Leon." D said.

"Come on let's get to bed." Leon said as the group walked to back of the petshop where D's room was. "Good night Count D see you in the morning." Victoria said and walked into her room. "Good night Victoria sleep well." D said walking into his room with Leon. "Leon what do you think our baby will be?" D asked laying down in bed. "I don't know I hope it's a boy." Leon said. "Hmm, funny I was hoping for a girl." D said.

"To tell you the truth so am I but if it's a boy I'll be happy either way." Leon said. "I'm glad Leon." D said and turned on his side and closed his eyes.

***Dream***

"Hmm my you sure have gotten stronger baby." D said rubbing his swollen stomach. "D you in here?" Leon called. "Daddy's home let's go see him." D said getting up off the couch and walking to the front of the store. "Leon?" D asked looking at his lover. "Hey there D how are you feeling?" Leon asked rubbing D's stomach.

"Fine and you?" D asked. "I'm alright your getting pretty big you shouldn't be walking around so much." Leon said pulling D close to him. D put his head on Leon's chest and closed his eyes for a moment. "Don't worry I'm fine the baby likes going for walks with me, what was that noise Leon?" D asked hearing a gun. "What noise hon?" Leon asked. "I heard a gun." D said. "Get back." Leon said pushing D away from him as a bullet hit him in the chest. "Leon!" D yelled and ran to his lover.

***Dream End***

"No Leon." D said and sat up in bed breathing heavily. "Leon wake up, please wake up." D begged. "Mmm what is it?" Leon asked sitting up in bed. "I'm hungry could you go out and get me some apple tarts?" D asked. "Baby it's three in the morning I'll get them for you later I promise." Leon said and layed back down. "Please Leon me and the baby are really hungry." D asked. "Count may I come in?" Victoria asked.

If Leon won't get me my food maybe Victoria will. "Come on in Victoria." D said as Victoria walked into the room with a tray of sweets. "I thought you might be hungry so I made you some tarts, you like apple don't you?" Victoria asked setting the tray down. "You made these for me?" D asked looking up at Victoria. "It's bad for the baby if you don't eat enough isn't that right?" Victoria asked rubbing D's stomach as D munched on his late-night snack. "Had enough baby?" D asked feeling the baby kick him.

"I think that's enough for now thank you Victoria." D said as Victoria took up the tray. "Your welcome have a nice sleep." Victoria said and left. "Such a nice girl." D said laying back down. "How did you manage to get her to work here anyway last I heard she was stealing off the streets." Leon said. "I had to pick up some things for the animals and while I was walking home I saw her in an alleyway. Poor thing was completely soaked so I told her that she could come with me and I brought her back here." D said rubbing his belly which had grown a tiny bit. "Why didn't you tell me I coulda had her arrested." Leon said. "I was well aware of the position she was in and I told her if she works hard enough I'll keep her here with me away from the authorities." D said. "You get bigger?" Leon asked looking at D's belly. "Just a bit." D said running a finger along his belly.

"She hasn't stolen anything yet has she we're still trying to bring her in." Leon said propping himself up on one elbow. "Of course not and I don't intend to give her up she is a lot of help around the shop." D said. "Yeah right she may be like that now but she's gonna start stealing stuff pretty soon." Leon said. "She won't don't worry my dear Leon." D said and went back to rubbing his belly and cooing to the baby that grew inside him smiling when the baby kicked at his pregnant belly.

"Ok stop that it's getting annoying." Leon said. "You're jealous the baby seems to like it a lot. Isn't that right?" D cooed. Leon let out a long sigh and layed back down. "Leon?" D asked. "Mm." Leon replied. "Love you." D said laying down beside Leon pressing his belly against Leon's. "Hey settle down in there some of us are trying to sleep." Leon said. "It wanted to say goodnight." D said smiling and turned over on his side and fell into a deep and dreamless sleep. "Night D, night baby." Leon said.

Morning came around pretty fast and D woke up to find Leon not beside him. "I wonder where daddy went to?" D said talking to the baby. "Good morning Count I made breakfast." Victoria said walking into the room and setting the tray down. "Thank you your such a sweet girl." D said biting into a strawberry tart. "Is it good?" Victoria asked rubbing D's pregnant belly. "I think the baby likes it, do you know where Leon is?" D asked biting into another tart and moaned feeling the baby kick him. "Sir left for work he said he had to go in early, are you alright?" Victoria asked as D moaned again.

"Yes I'm quite fine I think that's enough for now baby we'll have some more later at tea time." D said rubbing his belly. "Should I wake Q-chan?" Victoria asked going over to the other side of the bed and sitting beside D. "I'll wake him, have you already opened the shop?" D asked running a finger along Q-chan's fur. "Yes I opened it not to long ago, morning Q-chan did you have a nice sleep?" Victoria asked playing with the little rabbit-bat. "Ooo that was a strong kick." D said sitting up against the headboard of his bed. "Would you like me to get you some more pillows?" Victoria asked.

"That would be nice." D said as Q-chan flew up on his head. "Sorry Q-chan but you can't stay up there come here, come help me tend to the customers." Victoria said taking Q-chan off D's head. "I'll be right back with your pillows Count." Victoria said walking out of the room. "Come on baby let's go for a walk." D said getting up out of bed and standing up walked over to his dress cabinet and picked out a black cheongsam with white lilies embroidered on the front. "I'll wear this one today." D said and began to undress. After he had dressed he walked out of his room and into the shop.

Meanwhile at the police office, "What you mean to tell me our girl has been working for your friend?" The chief asked. "From what D told me she's been working there quite a while." Leon said. "Let's say we go pay your friend a little visit." The chief said as he Leon and Jill walked out of the room and down to the petshop.

"Please give my regards to the Count." A woman said walking out of the shop. "I will have a nice day be sure to take good care of her." Victoria said watching the woman leave. "One of the regulars?" D asked. "Yes everyone has been worried about you, I told them that it's only a minor illness and that you should be back soon." Victoria said as Q-chan batted at one of her earrings. "Hey now." Victoria said laughing.

"Hmm welcome." Victoria said as the chief, Leon and Jill walked in. "So here's where you've been hiding." The chief said. "Nice of you to come visit us did Leon tell you I was working here?" Victoria asked. "Come on Victoria your coming with us to answer some questions." Jill said. "The angel Jill you're here to well I suppose I'll have to come with you if the three of you are here, oh well." Victoria said as Q-chan flew in front of her. "What do you want you little fur ball?" Leon asked. "Please now detectives no violence why don't we settle this little matter over some tea?" D asked setting a tray down. "I agree I really wouldn't want to put any unintentional stress on the animals." Victoria said. "Can we trust her?" The chief asked. "What harm can it do she seems content in this place last time we tried to question her she ran." Jill said.

"Please come sit down." Victoria said sitting down beside the Count. "Couldn't hurt." The chief said sitting opposite of the Count as Jill sat down beside him. "Q-chan let the detective sit down." Victoria said as Q-chan flew over to her. "Behave yourself." Victoria said setting Q-chan on her lap. "So how have you been Victoria?" Jill asked.

"Always have to start off with the dull questions, I am quite well." Victoria said. "How long have you been working here?" The chief asked. "Mmm about five months now I believe, it's so much better here than it is on the streets." Victoria said. "I bet." Leon said. "Excuse me while I go check on our snacks." Victoria said getting up and walking to the back. "She's sweet she's done a complete 180 since we last saw her." Jill said. "Oh she was not like she is now when you met her detectives?" D asked.

"You kidding when we met her she had a few arrest warrants on her and they all were from us, sneaky little kid though could get past any security system and steal anything she wanted to." Leon said. "She's not like that now." D said. "She'll be nice for a while and then turn rotten again she pulls that alleyway trick just to get somewhere to stay once she finds what she's looking for she'll just up and take." The chief said.

"Surely we are not talking about the same Victoria she really is a sweet girl." D said. "Here's her file everything about her is in there what she stole, how much it was worth, even personal information that is standard." Leon said handing D Victoria's files. "Goodness." D said looking through her files. "Yeah and we have good reason to believe that her next target is this very petshop." Jill said. "According to her file though she's usually stolen whatever she wants by two weeks she's been with me for a whole five months now I really don't think there is reason to worry." D said as Victoria walked back in. "Hmm I see you brought my files with you." Victoria said setting the tray down.

"Victoria did you really steal from all these places, please tell me you didn't?" D asked. "Most of them I did steal from, but I would never steal anything from this place that's why I've been with you for so long, all of the others that took me from the streets pretty much treated me like trash so I took something from them in return for the way they treated me." Victoria said looking at D who stood up from the chair.

"D?" Leon asked. "How could you do such things, I didn't really want to trust what your files said until I heard them from you." D said looking at Victoria sadness showing in his eyes. "I know how can a sweet girl like myself do such terrible things, put it this way they took something from me so I just returned the favor and took something from them." Victoria said. "Still that doesn't give you the right to steal just for the fun of it." The chief said. "You think it was fun for me?" Victoria asked.

"Your nothing more than a child it's probably just one big game to you." Jill said. "You think stealing is a game for me?!" Victoria yelled. "Victoria please?" D asked. "Sorry Sir now I see why I'm not fond of humans myself, your incompetent I stole those things so I could have money for my mother and what those people took from me I can never get back, so I took from them what they valued most and sold it to make money for my mother. Mother is heavy with child and needs all the money I can give her." Victoria said. "We've heard that before." Leon said. "Forget it I don't know why I even bother with you humans." Victoria said walking to the back of the shop. "Victoria hey we're not done here yet." Leon said. "Go bug someone else and leave me be this is the shops busy month and I have a lot of things to take care of, come on Q-chan you can help me." Victoria said walking over to a medium-sized cage. "Victoria?" D asked.

"I'm sorry sir I didn't think it would hurt if I didn't tell you about my record you've been like a father to me and I was afraid if I had told you the truth you wouldn't have let me stay here." Victoria said petting a small pup. "I would have let you stay either way." D said. "You need more food don't you little one I'll go get you some." Victoria said. "It was nice seeing you again detectives please stop by again sometime." D said.

"Bye D." Jill said and left with the others as a young woman walked in. "Welcome to Count D's petshop is there anything I can help you with?" Victoria asked placing some food in the pup's cage. "Yes I'm looking for a very rare type of bird and I heard from a friend that this shop sells rare animals." The girl said.

"Our rare animals require a contract to be signed and require very special and delicate care." D said. "You must be Count D are you well?" The girl asked. "Quite well thank you for asking please come this way and I'll show you our birds." D said as the girl followed him to the back. "Here we are." D said opening the door. "Why is it so dark?" The girl asked. "We wouldn't want to scare them I'll just dim the lights a little bit." Victoria said turning a knob on the side of the wall. "Huh that's impossible." The girl said looking around the room at the birds that looked like humans. "It's quite possible actually the incense give them the looks of humans with wings go on and pick one out." Victoria said walking into the room with the girl and walking over to one of the birds.

"May I?" Victoria asked kneeling beside a female bird that was holding her baby. The female nodded her head and handed the baby to Victoria. "This one's pretty." The girl said walking over to a silver winged bird. "Which one oh Silver wing a lot of people have come by here wanting him but he never seems to want to leave this room." Victoria said placing the baby back in it's mother's arms. "Silver wing come." Victoria said gently as the bird-human spread it's wings and flew over to Victoria and landed beside her.

"Sliver wing is a very rare bird indeed there're only about thirty or so of his species left in this world." Victoria said as Silver wing layed his head on her shoulder. "I want him." The girl said. "I'm afraid Sliver wing isn't for sale though." D said.

"Why on earth not?" The girl asked. "Sir why not sell him if she fails like the others have he'll always come back to us." Victoria said. "I suppose we could sell him to you, but he'll need a cage big enough to fit him." D said. "Oh don't worry I have a big green house the size of the White House and then some." The girl said.

"Wonderful now if you will please come sit down here." D asked sitting down at a table. "Alright." The girl said sitting across from D as D handed her the contract. "So what's on this contract exactly?" The girl asked. "It just states three rules for caring for Sliver wing here and that if any of the rules are broken we will not be held responsible for anything that may happen." Victoria said watching the girl sign the contract. "So what are these rules exactly?" "one you must not show him to anyone. Two make sure he has plenty of fresh fruits and water. Three we will supply you with some incense never let these burn out or he will not remain as calm as he does now." D said.

"No problem." The girl said and stood up. "Come on now Silver wing it's best you wear something warm until you get to your new home." Victoria said wrapping a blanket around Silver wing as the three went back to the front of the shop. "Thank you so much Count have a nice day." The woman said and left the shop.

"I really didn't want to let Silver wing go." D said sighing and putting his hand on his cheek. "I know but everyone that has had him previously has broken the contract." Victoria said. "I suppose but I'm going to miss him, ooo so you decide to wake up hmm?" D asked patting his belly. "Why don't you go rest for a while I'll handle the customers." Victoria said. "You sure I wouldn't want to leave you alone with all the work." D said. "Don't worry just a few more customers and then I'll close the shop ok?" Victoria asked. "Alright tell Leon I'll be in my room." D said walking into the back and down the halls into his room where he quietly shut the door and walked over to the bed and lay down on his back. "Mmm that feels a lot better, I hope daddy comes home soon I'm starting to get hungry and I bet you are to hmm baby?" D asked as the baby kicked him. "I know rest now and be still." D said gently and began to rub his belly.

Meanwhile at the front of the shop. "Hey don't you think your closing the shop a bit early?" Leon asked walking in the door. "It's Tuesday sir we usually do close the shop around this time." Victoria said closing the door and locking it. "Where's D at I brought him something." Leon said. "He's in his room I really should start on his tea he'll be wanting it with his cakes." Victoria said as Q-chan flew into the room and landed on Leon's head. "Get off." Leon said plucking Q-chan from his head. "Oh there you are Q-chan want to help me with D's tea?" Victoria asked as Q-chan flew on her shoulder. "I'm going to D's room." Leon said and walked back to D's room.

Meanwhile in D's room. "Mmm, hmm come on in Leon it's open." D said as Leon walked into the room with D's cakes and sat down on the bed. "How are you, mmm." D said as Leon kissed him. "You taste like ice-cream. Here I brought you something thought you might be hungry." Leon said placing the cakes beside D.

"Oh Leon thank you mmm." D said sitting up slowly against his head board. "You okay?" Leon asked. "I'm trying not to wake the baby I just got it to sleep not to long ago." D said. "When's that Cody guy coming back I want to find out what the baby is." Leon said. "I do to my dear Leon." D said rubbing his belly. "Come on baby daddy brought us a little treat." D said rubbing his belly feeling the baby kick. "My you sure are strong." D said opening the box and taking out a small pastry began to eat. "Leon thank you." D said. "Your welcome." Leon said watching D eat. "D may I?" Leon asked.

"Hmm?" D asked. "May I?" Leon asked pointing to D's swollen tummy. "Certainly Leon, baby daddy wants to listen to you kick." D said as Leon layed his head on D's tummy. "Hear her?" D asked stroking Leon's soft blond hair. "Yeah, that's weird the way it kicks." Leon said. "She Leon." D said. "She?" Leon asked.

"Yes Leon it's a girl, that's enough for now baby, let's get some rest now okay?" D said and layed down on his back. "Move over." Leon said climbing in bed next to D. D let out a small yawn stretched and closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

***Dream***

"Daddy." A little girl squealed running to her papa. "Hey there you how are you?" Leon asked. "I'm fine." The little mini version of D said. "Leonona please keep your voice down you'll scare the animals." D said walking into the room. "Sorry mommy." Leonona said and layed her head on her papa's chest. "Hear my heart?" Leon asked stroking his daughter's hair. "Yeah." Leonona said and yawned.

"Looks like someone needs a nap come here sweetie let's get you to bed." D said taking Leonona from Leon and taking her to her room.

***Dream End***

"Mmm Leon?" D asked sitting up in bed. "You hungry?" Leon asked. "No I'm fine my stomach hurts." D said. "Maybe it was something you ate baby." Leon said. "Excuse me for a moment." D said getting up out of bed and walking into the bathroom.

"D?" Leon asked getting up and following his lover. When he reached the door he looked in and found D hunched over the toilet. "D you okay?" Leon asked walking in and kneeling beside D took him into his arms. D flushed the toilet and leaned back against Leon. "Mmm thanks Leon." D said looking up at Leon tears falling from his eyes.

"What's the matter?" Leon asked wiping away some of D's tears. ""Leon I can't keep anything I eat down and I'm worried for the baby I'm afraid she's not getting enough to eat." D said and buried his head in Leon's shirt. "Shh now, it's going to be ok D I'm pretty sure she's getting enough to eat, that's probably why you can't keep anything down." Leon said rubbing D's back. "Leon I really don't feel well could you run a bath for me?" D asked looking up at Leon. "Sure you could use something to relax your muscles." Leon said letting go of D and getting up and walking over to the bathtub ran some warm water and filled up the tub half way. "Here let me help you out of this?" Leon said walking back to D. "No I got it." D said and unbuttoned the catches and let his garment fall to the ground. "You want to be alone?" Leon asked helping D into the warm bath. "No you can stay if you want." D said and turned his head towards the door.

"What's wrong?" Leon asked. "Could you open the door and let Q-chan in?" D asked. "Sure." Leon said and walked over to the door and opened it as Q-chan flew in and landed on the side of the tub. "How come he doesn't go in it's not like it's cold or anything?" Leon asked. "Q-chan hates to get his fur wet." D said looking at Leon who pressed himself against the side of the wall. "What's wrong dear?" D asked.

"Why's Victoria in our room?" Leon asked. "Why don't you go find out?" D asked back. "I rather hear it from you." Leon said. "Leon she comes in here all the time she's probably just looking for Q-chan." D said shifting to a more comfortable position.

"Doesn't look like it from what I'm seeing." Leon said. "Nonsense." D said getting out of the tub and putting on a crimson red robe walked out of the bathroom and back into his room. "Victoria may I ask why your in here?" D asked walking over to Victoria. "Leon thinks I'm doing something right?" Victoria asked. "I asked you a question." D said. "I was looking for Q-chan he disappeared while I was taking care of T-chan and Pon-chan." Victoria said. "He flew in here you know he like to be with me while I'm taking my bath." D said. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to disturb you." Victoria said and bowed. "It's quite alright Victoria." D said rubbing his belly.

"How's the baby?" Victoria asked. "She has a lot of energy right now and I figured a warm bath would calm her." D said. "I see. Is it alright if I get Q-chan?" Victoria asked as Q-chan flew into the room and landed on D's head. "Q-chan come down from there." D said as the little rabbit-bat flew off D's head and onto Victoria's shoulder. "It's not nice to worry me like that." Victoria said.

"See dear I told you she was just looking for Q-chan." D said as Leon walked into the room. "Whatever." Leon said putting his arms around D's belly. "Sir would you like tea?" Victoria asked. "That would be nice could you bring me some more pillows to?" D asked walking over to his and Leon's bed and sitting on it. "Sure." Victoria said bowing and leaving the room and shutting the door with a soft click.

"D?" Leon asked. "Yes dear." D replied looking at Leon. "We got company." Leon said pointing to two wolves one that was pure white and the other a mix of gray and black. "It's the name the wolves gave me." Victoria said walking in with D's tea and pillows. "Here you go Count tea and some comfortable pillows." Victoria said setting the tray down on the nightstand and D's pillows on his bed. D walked back over to the bed sat down and took a sip of his tea. "How soon is the birth?" Victoria asked. "I'd say about three or four more hours and my labor should start." D said looking at his belly.

***Four hours later***

"Victoria take care of D for me." Leon said walking out the door. "Where are you going sir?" Victoria asked. "Gotta go back to work." Leon said closing the door. "Victoria where's Leon?" D asked walking into the front of the shop.

"He said he had to go back to work." Victoria answered. "I hope everything's okay." D said looking down sadly. "I'm sure it's nothing serious." Victoria said. "I hope not I want Leon to be here when I'm giving birth." D said putting both hands on his belly.

"I have his number I'll call him when you feel like pushing." Victoria said looking at D who looked paler than normal worry showing in his eyes. "Something wrong? Are you okay?" Victoria asked walking over to D and gently touching his stomach felt for anything unusual. "I don't think so I feel sick." D said and leaned against the wall.

"Come on let's find you a place to sit down." Victoria said picking D up and carrying him to the back room and over to the couch and gently set him down. "Could you get me a blanket and some more pillows?" D asked looking up at Victoria. "Sure I'll be right back." Victoria said and went to the closet. "Keee, Keee?" Q-chan asked.

"I'm alright Q-chan I'm just a little cold that's all." D said as Victoria came into the room and placed the blanket over D and the pillows under his head. "That better?" Victoria asked. "Yes, that's much better Victoria." D said. Eyes of Winter how is he? Aniou asked walking up beside Victoria. "I'm fine Aniou don't worry." D said feeling a strong pain clench his stomach. "Then again maybe I'm not. Oh dear." D said and cried out softly. "You alright?" Victoria asked putting her hand on D's belly feeling his muscles contract. "Victoria my water just broke." D said shifting his position laying on his side. "That more comfortable?" Victoria asked timing a contraction. "Not really ahhhmm." D cried out. "Shh your okay." Victoria said. "Mmm, uhhh that one's over." D said rubbing the side of his belly. "Two minutes, you been in labor for a while they seem pretty close?" Victoria asked. "How far apart are they?" D asked. "About thirty seconds." Victoria said. "I'll probably have only one or two more then I'll be ready to push, actually I have to push now it hurts to much." D cried out turning on his back. "I'll call Leon." Victoria said running to the phone and dialing Leon's number.

Meanwhile on the streets. "Leon." Leon said. "Leon you have to hurry and get back here D's ready to push and the baby's coming pretty fast." Victoria said. "Where are you?" Leon asked becoming panicked. "We're in the back room, please get home." Victoria said and hung up the phone. "Shit." Leon said and put his phone in his pocket and ran back towards the petshop where D was in the middle of his labor.

"Victoria will Leon be here soon?" D asked his legs already spread. "Yes he's on his way." Just after Victoria had said that Leon came running into the back room. "That was fast." Victoria said. "D." Leon said going over to his lover and sitting behind him.

"Alright D on three push hard. One, two, three and push D." Victoria said watching D push. "That's it push again." Victoria said as D pushed and screamed.

***Two hours later***

"Alright D almost there push one more time and she'll be out." Victoria said. "I do not think I can." D said. "Yes you can now push." Victoria said as D pushed and screamed as Leonona came out of him and started crying. "Alright D she's out, she's out." Victoria said laying the baby on D's chest and cleaning her off and cutting the cord then wrapping her in a blanket handed her to D to hold. "You did it D she's beautiful." Leon said. "No we did it Leon." D said letting tears fall from his eyes watching Leonona settle in her mommy's arms. "She seems quite content, she has a human name let's say we give her a nickname like you gave me." Victoria said looking at her two wolves.

Child of the Darkness seems to be a fitting name. Aniou said looking at the baby. "I like that." Victoria said as all the pets gathered around D to see the new addition.
