Luana watched indulgently as Ash dug into his meal. Really, he was such a dear. How his own mother let him roam she had no idea why of. But he was young, and virile, and very adorable…

The boy wiped a dribble of gravy off his chin, and attacked his mashed potatoes with more fervor.

Brock rolled his eyes, but didn't say a word. There was a free meal and a lovely lady around. How could he complain?

He was a bit uncomfortable, when Luana leaned over and hugged Ash. His friend was utterly clueless.

“I'm glad you came to visit, Ash.”

“Thanks, Luana!” Ash grinned. “You're a great cook! I wish I could stay here forever!”

Brock didn't miss the subtle sparkle in her eyes. “We'll see about that.”
