A/N: I'm rewriting this story chapter by chapter, based on a priority list. Another thing, throughout this story, there will be a few returning cast members…

It was another average day at Titans Tower: Raven was in her room, meditating; BeastBoy was currently playing Crash Twinsanity; Starfire was watching him and the game in amusement at the cartoon-like style of the game; Robin was in the gym practicing a new technique that he called `bird-flipping'; Cyborg went to get some food and parts for the T-Car. Pretty much, it was a very boring yet peaceful day…or so they thought!

“MAIL CALL!” the semi-over dramatic Cyborg yelled from the elevator's exit when he returned home. Just about everyone stopped what they were doing when they heard two loud thuds and a grunt of pain from the gym. BB looked away from the screen and bowled Crash and Cortex's “Rumble Ball” off a cliff, expending his last life. Raven lost all of her focus and fell onto the floor of her room. Robin messed-up in the middle of a flip and ended up doing a split on a column—crushing his balls—then fell onto his side on the floor. Starfire—being the best friend/wife she was—ran to his aid.

“CYBORG! How many times do I need to tell you NOT to do that!” the enraged Raven yelled from her room.

“I must agree, Cyborg, you have done this several times,” Star said as she and Robin were walking down the hall, Robin holding his side and trying not to look like he was in the extreme pain he really was in.

“She's right Cy; you've done it for the fiftieth time this month.” Robin agreed in a semi-high pitched voice.

“AND, I was so close to finishing the level until your loud mouth had to open up and because of it, I lost my focus and now I gotta start all over again.” BB chimed in, indicating the `GAME OVER' screen.

“Sorry guys, ya know I can't help it…” Cy apologized.

“YES, YOU CAN!” everyone yelled at him.

“Now let's get what ever mail we have.” Rob said, changing the subject. Robin decided to read the two letters addressed to everyone on the team: one was an invention to a “Gorillaz: LIVE!” concert next Saturday, with back stage passes included. The other had a request from three teens wanting to join the Titans, however, the request had no names listed, but a symbol that looked like it said `Shadow Scope' over a large `X'—suggesting the three teens had formed their own little `team' and called themselves “Shadow Scope-X”. They decided to go to the concert, seeing how they don't go out as a team a lot, as for the noobs, Robin held off on that.

After that, everyone got their individual mail, and went to their rooms to read them. Cyborg headed to the kitchen to put the food away and then to the garage. The few Titans that were fans of the Gorillaz were excited about the concert, even though they've never shown themselves live (from what I've heard, they cover the stage in fog so you can't see them during a concert. Don't worry; since this story is based on an animated show, the animated Gorillaz is what everyone will see).

As BB was looking through his mail, he saw he got what he usually got in the mail; the newest `Tips & Tricks' magazine, a demo disc for X-BOX, and some fan-mail. This time, he noticed he had something new for once. Once he got to his room, he read the letter, it said:

What's up? You probably don't remember me, do you? Well, you might but that's not the point. I'm writing this just to see how you're doin' and stuff. BB took some time, like 15 minutes, to think about who could have wrote the letter, and another 15 minutes to narrow it down to Blackfire, Raven, Jinx, and Terra. He immediately took Blackfire off that list, because he remembered that the last time he saw Blackfire, Starfire banished her from Tamaran and had no idea where she was. He though about taking Raven and Terra off the list of possibilities too, Raven can't feel emotions, oh wait…she can, but shouldn't. And Terra's still a statue where she shoulda stopped Slade and that volcano. I don't think she'll be back for a long time now, I guess Raven didn't find a way to undo what Terra did to herself to save us and the city. [Sigh] Terra…I should have told you how I felt about you while you were still alive…

This was BB's last thought as he drifted into a deep sleep with Terra still in his thoughts; but that was short lived.

 

BB's Dream:

He and Terra—who told him that the effect of her `final' act wore off itself—were at the movies. Getting to the Lab just in time to see Plasmus knock down the doors to the fifth, sixth, and seventh containment rooms, the Titans immediately sprang into action with the classic cry of “Titans, GO!” from Robin. When they were half a football field from the oozing monster, a red beam fired straight for them, missing Cyborg by a few feet. Cyborg returned fire, missing Dr. Chang, but nailing Plasmus. Plasmus roared in anger, then sent several ooze trails towards the Titans, blocked by a black energy shield provided by Raven. When she lowered the shield, Chang fired more blasts, but Starfire countered them with her starbolts. Chang panicked for a second as the Tamaranean female rocketed towards him, but Plasmus' hand swung over Chang's head and smacked her right into the ground. With the Titan down, Plasmus split into two, due to Robin's Bo-staff striking the monster in the middle of his head. Unfortunately, Plasmus reformed, with Robin's hands and feet stuck in the surface of Plasmus' body. After grunting for a few seconds in a feeble attempt to break free, Plasmus expelled the Boy Wonder with a powerful blast of slime, but ended up getting rammed by a green T-Rex, the force almost causing him to fall on Dr. Chang—who just barley jumped out of the way.

Noticing that Plasmus was starting to get in the way, Chang yelled, “Don't worry about them, just finish what we came here to do! I'll deal with the pesky Titans.” Nodding, Plasmus turned around and entered the building. With Plasmus gone for the moment, the Titans had an easier time dealing with Dr. Chang, or so they thought. First thing Chang did was switch his weapon into full-auto mode, then fired at the standing Titans, sending each one in a different direction. Quickly thinking, Chang started used a hologram projector he had built recently and created two doppelgangers to try to confuse the Titans, but a wave of sonic energy ambushed him when the doppelgangers were complete.

Barely standing his ground, Dr. Chang and his two doppelgangers continued firing red-laser beams, but he failed to notice that Raven vanished and had snuck into the building…

 

Inside Containment Room 5; Raven's POV…

Raven silently floated around, trying to find Plasmus in the dark area, but couldn't find him. After looking around for a minute, she found out way it was so dark; the room was empty! Quickly flying out the hole in the back of the room, she found Plasmus in the next room, along with an eerie green glow from the chemical liquids. The glow aided the half-demon spot Plasmus, so she had little trouble beginning her attack. Staying out of sight, she recited the mantra she commonly used, and her dark energy surrounded the nauseating pile of ooze, then a fraction of it dove into the mind of the man beneath the ooze and knocked him out, which reverted Plasmus to his human form, as harmless as a grave. With Plasmus defeated, she encased him in her dark energy as she dragged him back outside, hoping she still had time to mentally destroy Dr. Chang. Little did she know that she'd get her wish…

 

Back outside…

The other Titans still had there hands full dealing with the demented doctor and his hologram-doppelgangers. Cyborg was getting a bit frustrated as he fired his sonic cannon yet again, only to pass through a hologram. Gritting his teeth, Cyborg open fired with both of his arms, giving the others a clue to which Dr. Chang was the real one. Everyone aimed at him, but he started screaming and clutching his head. The Titans looked at each other then at the writhing Dr. Chang, then when the snoozing human form of Plasmus landed on the ground, they all fixed their gaze on the glowing eyes of Raven! Apparently, she was doing something to Dr. Chang, and from the looks of it, it was working. The holograms faded, the Dr. Chang fell to the ground, completely out of the fight. Sighing in relief, Raven looked at the other Titans, then encased the two villains in a black bubble that held their bodies immobile as she transported them to the cops that just pulled up.

As the Titans were heading back to the T-Car, they heard a feminine scream, then went to check it out. What they saw was some girl running from some guy that was chasing her, and from the looks of the guy, he had bad intentions. The frightened female ran into an alley, and the man followed. Robin was about to give the call, but Starfire pointed to the top of the buildings while exclaiming, “LOOK!”

Everyone looked up, and saw three silhouettes hoping across the gaps in the rooftops, one of the three seeming familiar. One of the three—who looked like he was wearing a cape of some sort—yelled out, “Stop that crook! Spread out, Delta formation!” before he jumped into the same alley as the girl and alleged crook, then a burst of lightning appeared from the alley, and the Titans immediately ran over to the alley. After running a few feet, they saw the same guy that was chasing the girl run out of the alley and bolt down the road, but several gunshots stopped him from going further. The man turned around and ran the other way, more like back into the alley, but he was launched back into the street by a beam made of lightning bolts, slamming him into the building next to the Titans. As the guy tried to get up, bullets immediately started outlining him, not only freaking the guy out but the Titans as well, for the one responsible for the gunshots was still on the roof of the building across the street! After the gunfire stopped, the gunman's shadow vanished, but the source of the lightning in the alley stepped out surrounded in the electrical energy, pointed a finger at the man, and then sent a few bolts over to pin the guy down. He walked half way across the street and said, “This man was attempting rape. The female he was after is safe.” Then he turned around, sprouted wings, then took the sky, calling out, “Move out!” Then the gunman's shadow jumped to the next roof, following the path of the first, and the third shadow walked out of the alley, walking with the girl from a few seconds ago, then started running, then—like a cheerleader—cart wheeled and flipped its way to the other shadows and out of sight.

The Titans stood in shock for a few seconds, wondering who the hell those three were, but figured they were no threat if they just stopped a rape. Robin was about to volunteer to take the frightened man to jail, but the one shadow with wings returned, dove down to grab the rapist, and flew off towards the police station. As he was flying away, the Titans heard him say, “We'll meet again, Titans! Good Night to ya!”

That freaked out the Titans more than they already were. The shadow knew them? They had no clue how, but they all got back into the T-Car, and went home, hoping to get a little more sleep.
