<Meanwhile, near Station Square>

"And the winner is...Miles "Tails" Prower!"

"Yeah! Way to go!" Sonic cheered for his friend.

"Mr. Studly!!!" Rotor shouted in triumph.

Tails had won an evening with the hottest female in the city: Sally Acorn.

"Yeah!" Tails shouted in triumph.

"Hey, Sonic?" Amy asked Sonic.

"Yeah, whats up Amy?"

"Aren't you a little dissapointed? I mean, Tails beat you."

"No way! I'm hnappy for him! He's growing up." Sonic said this with a little sadness.

"Don't we all..."

"Soooooo...Where to next, Ash?"

"Huh?" Sonic said from an all-too familiar voice.

"Ash?!"

"Sonic?!"

"Hey, guys! Its Ash!" Sonic shouted to his friends.

"Ash?!"

"Hey, Sonic! How's it going!"

"Doing great! Tails just won an evening with Sally!"

"So, had any trouble with Eggman, lately?"

"Nope! He's getting easier everytime I see him."

"Where's Brock,?" Asked Tails.

"Went back home to Pewter City."

"Oh, shame!"

"Well, anyways...Hows it going with you and Amy?"

"Great! I just asked her to marry me!"

"Wow! Congratulations! Sonic."

"Thanks, Misty..."

"So, had any trouble with Team Rocket?"

"Nope! Team Rocket's been dead for quite awhile now..."

"Thats what YOU think!" Replied an angry voice from behind Ash.

"Huh?!"

"Ash Ketchum! I thought I'd never see you!"

Ash looked at the figure with large eyes, he couldn't believe who was standing in front of him.

"GIOVANNI?! No way! I killed you three years ago! I saw your face hit the pavement!"

"Well, my Executives found me, and they fused part of my torn face with metal."

"You monster!"

"Well, just try me now!"

"Sure thi-"

"Let me handle this, Ash!" Sonic cut in front of Ash.

"Sure thing, Sonic!"

*Giovanni thinking* "You have no idea what you just got yourself into, Hedgehog!"

"Come and get me!"

"Sure thing, Giovackty!" Sonic mocked him.

Sonic was preparing a Spindash, but Giovanni had already activated his Mind-Control Device.

"Now, Sonic, you are under MY control!"

Sonic started to walk towards Giovanni's side, much to the shock and dismay of the rest of Sonic's friends.

"Sonic?!"

"What are you doing?!"

"Must...Destroy...Those...In...Masters...Way..." Sonic said in a robot-like voice.

"Sonic?!"

"Now, Sonic! Give them a Spindash!"

"Right...Away..."

Sonic let loose a ferocious Spindash that knocked out everyone, Ash inparticular.

"Now, Ash...You are mine!"
