Amy's Pokémon journey

Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon, or any of the characters besides Amy, which is my own creation.

Chapter 1

Narrator: Today we see not Ash, Misty, Pikachu, and Brock, but we do see Amy. And Amy is finally old enough to become a pokémon trainer, so we will tell her story.

Amy quickly grabbed her backpack from its place on a chair in her room, "I'm ready to go mom!" she shouted down the stairs as she grabbed a tie from her dresser and quickly tied her long blue hair with it.

"Just a second!" called her mother from the kitchen.

Amy ran down the stairs from her room and into the kitchen, and stopped to see her mom sitting down at the table and not getting food packed for Amy, like she thought that her mom was doing.

Amy took a step toward her mother, "Mom?" she asked a little worriedly.

Amy's Mom looked up at her daughter and smiled warmly, "I'm fine, and I packed you some food earlier." She explained and held out a pack of food. "Do take care of yourself, will you?"

Amy blinked before taking the food, "Oh, okay… Thanks mom! I will, I'm going now Bye!" she said as she ran out the door to get to Professor oak's lab, to get her first pokémon.

`I've just got to get to Professor Oak's before all the pokémon are gone.' Amy thought to herself as she made her way quickly to the lab.

When Amy got there, there were quite a lot of kids already there and waiting for their pokémon.

Amy stared in amazement at all of the other children, "Wow, there are a lot of kids here." She said in awe.

One of the kids in a group of boys looked at Amy and smiled, "Yeah, we all want to get our first pokémon."

Another boy nodded in agreement of his friend, "Yeah."

Amy stared for a moment, "Hmm." She whispered to herself.

Oak turned around and started to speak, "Okay, you first…" he pointed to the first boy, "Which one do you want?"

The boy smiled brightly before replying, "Eevee!" he exclaimed.

Oak chuckled at the young boy, "Okay." He said before he got the pokéball containing Eevee and handed it to the kid. "Take good care of it." He said.

The boy grinned and nodded, "I will!" he said before moving back into the group of boys.

Oak looked around the gathered children and pointed to Amy, "Okay, you next. Which pokémon do you what?"

Amy thought for a moment, "I want Vulpix." She said happily

Oak picked up one of the pokéballs and a pokédex and handed them to Amy. "Take good care of it young lady."

Amy beamed happily as she received her pokémon, "Thank you very much, I'll take the best of care of it."

Oak smiled warmly at her before pointing to another kid, "Next."

Amy happily walked off towards the forest to get to the next town, to Pewter City.

Amy wandered around the forest looking for a wild pokémon before she would travel to Pewter City "I hope I find a pokémon soon." She murmured to herself.

And as if that was the que, a wild rattata ran right in front of Amy and stared at her.

Amy blinked at the rattata before smiling, "Cool a rattata!"

Amy threw the pokéball that had vulpix in it, and vulpix came out.

Vulpix smiled happily, "Vul!"

Amy chuckled at her cute pokémon, "Vulpix quick attack now!"

Vulpix nodded and quickly attacked rattata before rattata had a chance to defend itself or even attack.

Rattata fell down, but quickly got back up and used its own quick attack on Vulpix.

"Vulpix! Dodge it!" Amy said and watched Vulpix dodge the attack and beamed with pride, "Vulpix ember!"

Vulpix used her ember, sending flicks of fire at the rattata.

The rattata, unable to dodge, was hit by the attack and fainted.

Amy grinned and threw a pokéball at rattata.

Rock…

Rock…

Rock…

Ding!

Amy jumped up in delight, "Yay, I caught Rattata!"

Vulpix beamed happily at her trainer, "Vul!"

Amy smiled at Vulpix, "Look Vulpix! I got Rattata! Hmm… I think I'm going to let it out for a bit." She said before she let Rattata out and watched it walk over to Vulpix.

(Authors note: Pokémon talk now on.)

Rattata looked at Vulpix, "Hello Vulpix."

Vulpix smiled at her fellow pokémon, "Hi Rattata, Im sorry I hurt you."

Rattata shook its head, "Its okay, don't worry about it."

(Authors note: Pokémon talk now off.)

Amy started to walk more into the forest, looking for other wild pokémon. She turned back to look at her pokémon, "Come on you guys."

Vulpix and Rattata looked startled for a moment as their conversation was interrupted but quickly made to follow Amy.

Words from author:

This is my first pokemon fanfic, so how did I do? Should I make a part two? Also… This has been sitting around on my computer for quite some time, since early last year I think… Anyway… I revised it from its previous format and added more onto it so it was better… Plus I also fixed the spelling errors… I knew they were my own fault, but it was painful to see them. Lol

Update: Okay, I modified it a little… added a little on… And am currently working on the second chapter.
