Prologue: Gym Leaders

"You are qualified to be a gym leader Mr. Ash Ketchum." The man at the `Gym Leader Qualification' said.

"Thank you." Ash said. He was very happy. Finally he was a gym leader. Being a gym leader was a very special honor. I wonder where I should be gym leader at? Ash wondered. As if on que he saw a sign for two gyms being built in the Taren region. One was on Mt. Isis and the other on Mt. Calben. They both needed gym leaders. Aha! Well Mt. Isis here I come! Now all I have to do is call.

Gary Oak was riding on the Saffron train to Mt. Calben. Proffessor Samuel Oak, his grandfather, had already qualified him as a gym leader and set him up at the Mt. Calben gym. He had wanted the Mt Isis gym but someone one had already claimed it. Gary was wondering who had as the train rattled along the tracks.

"It will be great to have a gym of my own." Misty said to herself. She had ordered a gym built on Atekin Island in the Taren region. Gun now she was just resting on the deck of the SS Julian.
