Pokémon Adventure
Journey begins in Starlit town
Taurean's grand adventure begins
It was the start of a quiet morning in Starlit town but it would soon be quite an eventful day.
Narrator: This is Starlit town a community of families and a little hard work makes it quite a place live. It's also the proud home of an interesting boy.
Inside a quite big house in a certain bedroom is a boy with quite a pokémon-esque scheme who dreamed of being a pokémon trainer.
Taurean: I can't believe it! Tomorrow I start my pokémon journey, I can't wait!
The boy goes to his T.V and sits down on his knees watching the latest program.
Woman on T.V: Tomorrow is a special day in Starlit town as kids and a few adults from all over are staring their life as pokémon trainers. Also the renowned pokémon expert Professor Samuel Oak will be at the lab of new upstart Prof. Odaichi will give out the aspiring trainers their first pokémon.
Prof. Odaichi ob T.V: I wish all the best for these individuals and many of my very first students well on there journeys. Trainers will have Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle to choose from, you can also go to the Starlit ranch and choose any pokémon of your choosing. To all trainers watching remember your lessons and always be yourself and your pokémon will respect you.
Taurean: Yes I will, I will be a great pokémon trainer, and someday I'll become a pokémon master in my own right.
Narrator: Taurean Watashi is that boy from Starlit town. He dreamed of his journeys as a pokémon trainer since he knew of pokémon. He vowed that he would become a trainer and bring honor to the family name.
Taurean: I will do my hometown proud and become one of the greatest pokémon masters, of all time!
Soon morning hit and Taurean went down to breakfast, in the kitchen his grandma was washing the pots and pans she cooked with.
(Munching happily)
Taurean: Grandma this is your best work yet!
Grandma: I'm glad you're enjoying it, that fried rice is a family keepsake. I wrote the recipe down so you could cook it on your journey.
Taurean: Thanks grandma, I can't believe after years of dreaming my journey starts tomorrow, I can't wait!
His grandma could see the excitement in his eyes, but at the same time she could see the eager and willingness to learn all he can to succeed.
Grandma: Well if you're that sure then I think it's time.
Taurean: Time for what?
Grandma went to the family hope chest on the living room table and opened it up. Inside was spare money for emergencies and a bag with something very important inside. She then walks over to him who had now finished his rice and saw the bag in her hand.
Taurean: What's in that bag?
Grandma: This is something your father left for you.
She opened the bag to see pokéballs inside.
Taurean: Those are pokéballs
Grandma: Your father pick the very best acorns he could find and the pokeball craftsman Kurt made these high-caliber balls hoping you'd would want them.
Taurean: Oh I do!
Grandma: Well there is one more thing.
She took one of the pokéballs and clicked the button to double in size. This was different from the others; it was red on the top with a pink heart and was white on the bottom.
Taurean: What's this pink heart?
Grandma: Your dad put it there hoping you'd keep your first pokémon inside.
She then gave it to Taurean along with the bag of other balls.
Taurean: Thank you grandma, I promise I'll use them well and wisely.
Grandma: I know you will.
Soon after cleaning up the dishes and himself, Taurean went to the Starlit ranch were many pokémon live hoping to see the pokémon he'll choose.
Taurean: Good morning Miss Amana.
Miss Amana: Good morning Taurean, well tomorrow's the big day.
Taurean: I know I can't wait!
Miss Amana: Well I could sure use your help again today, for old time's sake.
Taurean: I'd be glad too.
Taurean had been working on the ranch since he was four and even then he was paid and had saved it for his journey. It was also the place were he saw his first pokémon, he can't quite remember which it was but from that moment he long awaited the day he'd become a trainer.
Taurean spent the morning helping to feed a lot of the pokémon who were still too small to forage themselves; he then went up in a balloon to check on the many flying pokémon for signs of illness and checked out fine.
He then spent most of the afternoon babysitting some Hopip until there parents came back.
Soon his last day of ranch work was done, he was going to miss being around this place but he was very determined to become a trainer and that meant leaving home sooner or later.
He was walking down a path of valley where the nursery was, you could see many pokémon eggs around the area being cared by there parents. As Taurean quietly walked though he noticed one egg was not being tended to.
It was yellow with a black lightning symbol on it and there weren't any parents in sight.
Taurean: No one's with this egg.
Taurean went over and picked it up wondering who'd leave it here.
Taurean: Who could possibly leave a poor defenseless egg alone? Maybe its parents are still foraging for food or something. Well I just can't leave it here so I'll stay with it until they come back.
So Taurean stayed with the egg for quite a long time, all the while tucking it inside his coat and carefully hugging it to keep it warm.
Soon many hours passed and the parents of the egg had not returned and it was getting a bit late in the afternoon.
Taurean: I guess there not coming. Well I'll take it to Miss Amana she'll look after until the parents return. She knows about every pokémon that lives here they'll know to go to her.
So Taurean carefully took the egg on back to Miss Amana's house when halfway there the egg started glowing.
Taurean: Huh?!
Taurean took the egg out of his coat wondering why it glowed and amazingly it started to crack.
Taurean: I don't believe it, it's hatching
The egg was cracking and soon emitted a white glow.
Now it's time for-
Taurean: Who's that pokémon?!
Hint: It's a pre-evolved electric pokémon.
After a second
Taurean: It's Pichu!
Pichu: Pi. Pichu!
The egg was cracking as was about to hatch.
Taurean: It's really hatching!
Then the top of the egg popped open and inside was a tiny yellow ball, just then a head with coal black eyes, fat diamond ears, black marks on its neck and ears and a little lightning bolt tail.
Pokémon: Pi, pi, Pichu.
Taurean: What kind of pokémon is this?
Then the pokémon looked right up at Taurean looking quite curious.
Pokémon: Pichu!
Taurean: Wait a minute now I remember this is a Pichu
Pichu: Pichu!
Taurean thought it was very cute that the pokémon was its parent.
Taurean: Hello my little cutie, it's nice to meet you.
Taurean then gave it a big hug; Pichu was really happy and surprisingly gave off a thundershock.
(Being shocked)
Taurean: AHH! PICHU PLEASE STOP PLEASE!!!!!!!
Pichu then calmed down and the shock stopped, by now Taurean was black all over and coughing a bit.
Taurean: I don't get it Pichu why'd you shock me?
Pichu: Pi?
Soon after brushing himself off Taurean went up to Miss Amana's house and knocked on the door. He was carrying the Pichu in his arms when she answered.
(Opens door)
Miss Amana: Well Taurean are you done?
She then notices Pichu in his hands.
Miss Amana: Where'd that Pichu come from?
While letting him in Taurean explained how he found Pichu when it was still an egg with its parents nowhere in sight. After waiting a long while and no parents in sight he came to entrust it to her it hatched into Pichu.
By now the two were sitting by the fireplace sipping hot cocoa and munching on some sandwiches, Pichu was on the floor below them drinking some poke-formula in a baby bottle.
Miss Amana: So this Pichu hatched right in your arms that's something.
Taurean: I know it was so cool, but.
Miss Amana: But what honey?
Taurean: When I said hi and hugged him, he shocked me.
Miss Amana: I see.
(Hanging his head down)
Taurean: Does that mean he doesn't like me?
Miss Amana: I don't think so; you see Pichu being an electric type uses its electrical attacks to defend itself. But babies like Pichu aren't in full control and give off there shocks uncontrollably. So it probably didn't shock you on purpose.
Taurean: That makes sense I guess.
Taurean looked over to see Pichu finished his bottle but was still hungry.
(Tummy rumbles)
Pichu: Pichu, pi.
Pichu then smelled Taurean's salami sandwich and leaped from the table to the left arm of the chair he was sitting in.
Pichu was holding out his arms trying to say he wanted the sandwich.
Pichu: Pichu, pi, pi!
Taurean: I think he wants some; can I give him a bit?
Miss Amana: Certainly just cut it up so he can eat it properly.
Taurean went into the kitchen and cut the sandwich in half and poured another cup of cocoa. He then set the coca on the table and sitting back in the chair.
He took half and handed it to Pichu. Pichu took a couple of bites and found it very good.
(^^)
Pichu: Pichu, pi!
Taurean smiled and laughed a bit to see Pichu so happy. He then took the cup of cocoa he set down and blew on it until it was just warm.
Taurean: Try some cocoa.
He handed the cup to Pichu which was just his size and after sniffing it a bit sipped it. Pichu loved it and took another bite of his sandwich and drunk more of his cocoa. Pichu dropped the cup but Taurean caught before and broke and spilled and gave it back to Pichu.
Taurean: There you are, be a bit more careful okay?
Pichu nodded and they continued to enjoy there food and drink.
Soon night was beginning to fall and it was time Taurean to head home. Pichu hated to see him go so Miss Amana let him stay at Taurean's house to stay the night. He called his grandma beforehand who said yes and the two set off for home.
Taurean: You'll love it at my place Pichu my grandma loves pokémon as much as I do, plus she makes some really great food.
Pichu: Pichu!
Taurean: Though I'm pretty good in the kitchen myself, I make some mean fried noodles.
As they walked towards the house Taurean noticed another boy running up towards him.
Taurean: It's Koji!
Giran then stopped right in front of him.
Giran: Well as I live and breathe if it isn't old Mr. Pathetic!
(Has that angry mark on his forehead)
Taurean: I see you haven't changed, but that doesn't surprise me.
Giran: Oh but I have, I've been a fun and cool trip through the Orange Islands and learned a lot more about pokémon
Taurean: If it was that fun why'd you come back?
Koji: I had to come back, you'd think I'd miss the big ceremony for new trainers and I certainly wouldn't miss getting my first pokémon.
Then Koji noticed the Pichu beside him.
Pichu: Pichu?
Giran: Hey, is that Pichu with you?
Taurean: Well yeah but-
Giran starts wigging out.
Giran: Oh no! I missed the ceremony; you got a pokémon before me! The shame of it all-
Taurean was stunned and didn't know what to say and the with a smile on his face said-
Taurean: Relax; this Pichu isn't mine I'm just looking after him for Miss Amana.
Giran at first didn't hear him as he was still wigging out and then replays back that last moment and heard what he said and stops turning to him and asks-
Giran: So I didn't miss the ceremony?
Taurean: Not at all, and so we won't get our pokémon until tomorrow.
(Sighs)
Giran: That's a relief during my trip I lost track of time. Well see ya tomorrow T. You'll be able see me in the crowd waving the best pokémon inside its ball.
Taurean: We'll see!
So as Giran left for home Taurean and Pichu found themselves home as well. While Taurean got ready for bed Pichu was exploring his room and got into a bit of mischief. When he came out he saw Pichu climbed into his laundry basket and could get out and was crying.
Taurean got Pichu quickly out and gently rubbed Pichu calming him down.
Taurean: It's okay, there's no need to cry Pichu, a friend is right here with you.
(Sighing peacefully)
Pichu: Pi-chu.
Taurean then bent down and put Pichu in his old rocker and began rocking him back and forth. He then left a moment and turned on his radio and the song "Boku no Best friend" played and went back to Pichu and rocked him and his eyes began to droop he sang.
(Singing)
Taurean: scrumptious red cheeks, and a bright yellow shirt
A zig-zag marked necklace, Boku no best friend.
Doodling with colored pencils on a white page, we sang this newly created song.

Look at the sky dyed with sunset bright, warm stars laugh on us this very same night.
Because the new winds are calling me, I want to if you'll walk side by side with me.
During the instrumental Pichu yawned a bit and started to fall asleep.
Bare footed in the sea of soft green grass, we partied, we danced, and even tripped.
laying the badges shining together in the sunset, we slept together with our hearts connected.
Taurean then got Pichu out of the rocker and carried him into bed and continued to sing.
wasurenai yo kimi to no EPISOODO
, numerous "treasures" await us tomorrow.
He then tucked himself and Pichu in and turned off the light.
Let's fly up forever, going hi-igher, oh-
Passing the stars that shine and erupt, when the pure white morning a-a-a-a-awakes, let's go out, out to that place-
To the road that endlessly continues on...
Taurean then closed his eyes and soon went to sleep alongside Pichu.
Grandma came in to check on them to see they were fast asleep together.
Grandma: How sweet.
She then went over and turned off the radio. She went back to the door and turned off the light and quietly closed the door behind her.
Pichu and Taurean slept soundly and dreamed some happy dreams.
The next morning came rather quickly it seemed like it went by quite quickly, Taurean and Pichu awoke to a new day of adventure. Today was the day that Taurean would receive his first pokémon. The two quickly finished breakfast and left first for the ranch.
It was 2 hours before the big event at the pokémon lab Starlit town and everything was getting setup and Prof. Odaichi was extremely nervous.
Prof. Odaichi: Th-this is it Odaichi the day you've been waiting for, now you must remain calm. Oh I can't I'm sweating bullets!
Prof. Oak: Relax Jenra you've been doing a fine job, I was a little nervous when I first started out. It gets better.
Prof. Odaichi: You're right I'm going stay calm and positive.
So while everything is close to being ready, Taurean and Pichu made it back to the ranch to bring Pichu home. Miss Amana was outside her house tending to some Ponyta who needed some hey a leg check.
Taurean: Good morning Miss Amana!
Pichu: Pichu!!!
Miss Amana: Good morning you two are up early.
Taurean: Well I wanted to make sure I got Pichu back to you all right.
Miss Amana: Oh thanks but after I tended to these Ponyta I was going to see you and pick up Pichu myself.
Taurean: Well I just thought It would be great to come by and maybe give you a hand before the ceremony.
Miss Amana: Oh you've been a help to me enough for awhile, this is your big day enjoy it!
Taurean: Well okay, I think I'd to take a walk with Pichu, how's that sound to you?
(Nods in agreement)
Pichu: Pichu!
The three friends walked for a bit through the ranch until they reach grassland behind a mountain. Pichu was walking around very carefully and senses something odd.
Taurean: What's with you Pichu?
Pichu: Pi, Pichu!
Miss Amana: I think it senses a pokémon nearby.
Sure enough they saw a Chikorita who looked ready to fight.
Taurean: It's a Chikorita!
Chikorita: Chickor!!
Taurean: If only I had my starter pokémon I'd capture it with one of my dad's pokéballs.
Pichu: Pichu! Pichu, Pichu. Chu, chu!
Taurean: What's he saying?!
Miss Amana: I think he wants to battle for you.
Pichu does a peace sign to confirm it.
Pichu: Pi!
Taurean: I can't you're still young, and I've never been in a battle before. I couldn't bear if you got real hurt because of me.
Pichu: Pichu! Pi, pi, Pichu!
Taurean: What? Do you say " you're sure you'll win?"
Pichu nods.
Pichu: Pichu!
Pichu had his game face on and was ready to fight.
Taurean: Is this alright with you Miss Amana?
Miss Amana: I couldn't stop you if I tried, get out there and win!
Taurean then got his game face to and charged right into it.
Taurean Ok! Let's do it!
Taurean raised his finger forward and Pichu assumed battle position.
Pichu: Pichu!
(Chikorita swung the leaf on its head around)
Chikorita: Chicka!
Taurean: Go Pichu!
Pichu charged forward and the battle begins
Chikorita ran towards Pichu for a tackle attack, Pichu combats with a pound attack and collide into each other. They both try to dominate but Pichu pushes Chikorita aside.
Taurean: Pichu thundershock attack!
(Charges up and sends a jolt electricity at Chikorita)
Pichu: Pi-chuuuuuuuuuuu!
Chikorita took a bit of damage but was still kicking; Pichu on the other hand seemed to get hurt by its own attack.
Taurean: What's wrong with Pichu?
Miss Amana: Well Pichu sometimes shock themselves when using elemental attacks as it's not fully controlled over them yet.
Taurean: Pichu maybe we should stop.
Pichu shakes it's head "No" it wants to continue.
Taurean: Okay as long you don't give up I won't either. Let's go!
Pichu: Pichu!
Taurean: Pichu sweet kiss!
(Has heart eyes)
Pichu: Pichu-u!
Chikorita: Chika?
Pichu to give it a big smacker but Chikorita dodged it and used tackle which was quite effective; Pichu hit the dirt but got right back up.
(Catches breath)
Pichu: Chu, cha.
Chikorita then spins the leaf on her head like crazy and sends out an array of razor leafs, Pichu bobbed his head side to side extremely fast and dodged them all. Chikorita pitched a wild razor leaf approaching fast, Pichu jumped to dodge and coming in a diving position and delivered an awesome slam attack.
(Thinking)
Miss Amana: I've never seen a battle this intense from a pokémon this young and with such tactical thinking.
Taurean: Pichu doubleslap!
Pichu: Chu!
Pichu quickly starts jabbing left and right getting a clear hit each time; he got in seven hits and really put his body into the eighth and final jab to the left throwing Chikorita for a fall. But before it hit the dirt she sent one of her vine whips at Pichu hitting hard knocking him to the ground.
Taurean runs over to pick him up feeling maybe they should quit.
Taurean: You did your best and I thank you but won't get you seriously hurt for me.
Pichu is just more psyched then ever and gives Taurean some slaps on the cheeks to psych him up.
Taurean: You're still up for more?
Pichu smiled
Pichu: Pichu.
Taurean: Okay let's get serious now!
Pichu jumps out of Taurean's arms and back into battle position.
Chikorita got back her footing and was ready to fight. Chikorita tried to wind Pichu down using sweet scent but it actually got him more psyched and countered with attract.
Chikorita got distracted and heart-eyed and Pichu used doubleslap again snapping it out of it's infatuation. Pichu jumped quickly away to avoid a sneak attack and Chikorita responded with both it's vine whips. Pichu uses some slick and stealthy moves to get away, but at the same time they were quite graceful and smooth.
Taurean: Yeah Pichu, you rule!
Chikorita finally was able to grab one of his feet and send him flying into a nearby tree, falling against the bark to the floor atop his head.
Taurean: Pichu!
Pichu struggled himself to stay in this battle, Chikorita fired both her whips at him. Pichu could sense where they'd end up in a burst of instinct he leaped from the head up and whips hit the trunk of the tree where he just was.
Chikorita: Chika?!
Pichu backwards flipped from the tree trunk right over Chikorita and goes to ultra speed. Then from out of nowhere it seems Pichu hit Chikorita hard at a weak spot knocking it onto the ground.
Taurean: That was a quick attack!
Miss Amana: I've never seen a pokémon this young get such an edge in battle and that Chikorita is at a fairly high level, I wonder…
Chikorita is now tired but could still battle, she sends her whips flying again and Pichu continues to dodge them, Taurean was trying to think of a way to get a close range attack to do more damage. He looks at the vine whips more closely and-
Taurean: I got it, Pichu grab the vine whips!
Pichu: Pichu!
Pichu grabbed the whips and held them tight.
Taurean: Now quickly thundershock!
(Charges and sends a major current of electricity right to Chikorita)
Piii-chuuuuuuuuu!
Chikorita is heavily damaged and fainted.
Taurean got out one of the pokéballs from his bag and clicked the button it and doubled in size.
Taurean: This is a friend ball and I know we'll be great friends Chikorita.
(Gears up and throws pokeball)
Friend ball GO!
It hits Chikorita a red light comes out and sucks it inside the ball and closes and hits the ground. It begins to move and makes a whirring noise.
Everyone is crossing there fingers when the ball stops moving and the red light on the button disappears.
Taurean: Ah!
He runs over to pick it up.
Taurean: We did it Pichu, we caught a Chikorita!
Does a happy victory/capture pose.
Pichu: Pichu!!!
Taurean laughs and picks up Pichu and dances around a little, Miss Amana could see what would come next.
Soon after they headed back to Miss Amana's house with quite a bit to say, Pichu was in Taurean's arms as it was quite tired from battle.
Miss Amana: You two were great I've never seen a battle so intense in a long time. So after thinking it over I want you to keep Pichu as you're very own as well as the Chikorita you caught together.
Taurean: But don't the rules state I can only get one pokémon from the ranch when I'm starting out?
Miss Amana: Yes but I do make exceptions every now and then and you qualify, plus I can tell you and Pichu have quite a strong bond already. Pichu would miss you so much he might not be able to function in everyday life, and you'll still get a starter pokémon from the lab I'll talk to the Profs and explain everything you just worry about you're journey.
Taurean: Okay, well Pichu it looks we'll be partners.
(^^)
Pichu: Pichu!
Soon after it was time for the big trainer ceremony, all aspiring trainers young and old were there. The mayor of the town came to witness this event in action, the local news network was also here to cover the event.
Meanwhile inside the lab both Giran and Taurean both were the first to arrive.
Prof. Odaichi: Well you boys have certainly been waiting long this day a long time and it's soon about to be worth it.
Odaichi then went to the nearby table and collected the pokéballs and put them on the table in front of the two boys.
Prof. Odaichi: These are of the three pokémon you can choose for your journey.
Odaichi picked up the first pokeball and it popped open and out popped Bulbasaur.
Bulbasaur wiggled a bit and stretched itself out.
Prof. Odaichi: Bulbasaur is the first of your choices, we're still not sure if Bulbasaur is a plant or animal or possibility both. We do know that there have been debates to prove it's a fighting type as well.
Bulbasaur: Bulba!
Then Odaichi took the next pokeball and out pops a Charmander.
Prof. Odaichi: This is Charmander. A fire type with the tip of it's tail acts like a candle and lifeline. It's a bit of challenge but a moderate start for beginners.
Charmander: Charman!
Odaichi then took the last pokeball and popped open, but surprisingly it wasn't Squirtle. Instead it was a Snubbull.
Prof. Odaichi: Wait a minute this is a Snubbull, I'm sure I asked for s Squirtle.
Snubbull: Snub!
The Snubbull went right up to Giran and snuggled against him.
Snubbull: Snub, snub!
Giran: He's so sweet and cool too. Professor with all do respect I'd like to have this Snubbull.
Prof. Odaichi: Well it's highly unusual but since it seems to like you well I guess so, and Taurean I've heard you've already got a step ahead.
He notices the Pichu beside him
Taurean: Yeah well kind of.
Giran: You mean you already have your first pokémon?! You told me that it wasn't yours.
Taurean: Well it wasn't officially until earlier this morning, and check this out-
Taurean takes out his friend ball and out pops Chikorita.
Chikorita: Chicka!
Giran: You already caught your first pokémon too?! I don't believe it!
Prof. Odaichi: Quite impressive winning your first battle and capturing a new pokémon, though you haven't captured it in a pokeball?
Taurean: Well in all the excitement I never thought about it actually, but I think I'd prefer it if he stuck close to me.
Pichu: Pichu!
Prof. Oak: You know this reminds me of another trainer who felt the same way or rather his pokémon did.
Prof. Oak remembers the day Ash came to his lab to receive his first pokémon.
Ash: I thought about and it took me a long time, but I finally decided to choose Squirtle-
But when picked up the pokeball it opened to find it was empty.
Prof. Oak: Already taken by someone who was on time.
A pause hit a moment and then-
Ash: Oh… I wish I hadn't overslept, But now I will choose as my pokémon Bulbasaur-
But again the ball was empty
Prof. Oak: That one was also taken by a kid who wasn't late.
Ash: Ohh… Well that's no problem because my pokémon will be, Charmander.
Well you can see the pattern that trends now, of course empty.
Ash: Sighs.
Prof. Oak: The early bird gets the worm or in this case the pokémon.
Ash: Does that mean all the pokémon are gone?
Prof. Oak : Well this is still one left but-
Ash quickly responded-
Ash: Professor I'll take it!
Then another pokeball appeared from the tray.
Prof Oak: I think I should warn you, there is a problem with this last one.
Ash: I have to have a pokémon.
Prof. Oak: Well in that case…
Then as soon as the ball touched his hand it popped open and glow erratically.
Ash got a bit freaked out and then guess who popped out
(Blinked it's eyes)
Pikachu: Pikachu.
Prof. Oak: It's name is Pikachu.
Ash: Oh it's so cute it's the best of all.
Prof. Oak: You'll see.
Ash picked it up and gave a big hug.
Ash: Oh hi Pikachu
(Charging up)
Pikachu: Pika…
Then he got shocked.
Prof. Oak: It's also known as electric mouse, it's usually shy but can sometimes have an electrifying personality.
then the shocking stop and Ash is now literally covered in ashes.
Ash: See what you mean.
Prof. Oak: Shocking isn't it?
Then a second later-
Prof. Oak : Now take these, your pokédex and pokéballs.
(Ash slowly and quietly tries to recover the items to avoid another shock)
Ash: T-thank you-u-u-u!
(But both got shocked anyhow)
Prof. Oak: You're wel-l-come!!!
Outside you could see Ash's family and friends were there to cheer him on.
Ash: Mom?
Delilah: Oh Ash I'm so proud of you! You're finally going to fulfill your dream and start your pokémon training. But I'm going to miss you so much-
(Starting to cry)
Oh my little boy!
Pikachu came out about this time seeming very curious.
Pikachu: Pikachu.
Then soon went from emotion mode to business mode, well sort of.
Delilah: I packed your sneakers and jeans, nice clean shirts and underwear, and your favorite snacks and some hot chocolate in case you want something hot. But be careful not to burn yourself, and a pair of rubber gloves to do your laundry and a new clothesline to hang it out to dry-
Ash: Mom you're embarrassing me, in front of all these people. Don't you know I'm a big kid now? Pokémon trainers can take care of themselves.
Delilah: I understand.
Then she notices Pikachu.
That's your pokémon?
Pikachu: Pikachu.
Ash: Yep that's my pokémon.
Pikachu turns away like a snob.
Pikachu: Pi!
Ash was hesitant to continue then said-
With Pikachu at my side I'll get all the pokémon in the world.
Then an interesting question came up
Delilah: I thought all pokémon stayed inside their pokéballs, why doesn't this one?
Ash then remembers and takes out Pikachu's pokeball.
Ash: Pikachu get in the ball now.
But Pikachu just pushes it back. Ash tries a few times more but no success.
Delilah: Oh you're playing catch, you're friends already!
Ash: Oh yeah.
Then picks Pikachu up-
Pikachu and I are real pals, right?
Delilah: But-
It's a little weird.
Ash: Weird?
Then Pikachu had skull and crossbones in his thought bubble then shocked everyone except Prof. Oak.
Prof. Oak: Those rubber gloves your mom packed will come in handy.
(While still being shocked)
Ash: Why?!
Prof. Oak: Rubber blocks electricity.
Ash: O-oh great!!
Then in less than a second more he stopped and everyone else collapsed.
Delilah: Don't forget to change your underwear-
Every single day.
Ash: Okay.
Pikachu: Pikachu.
The flashback ends then and there to see the boys quite flabbergasted.
Taurean: So the Ash Ketchem who's now competing in the Johto league had a first day like that? Well I guess you had to start somewhere.
Giran: I guess. Well hopefully we'll have it easier.
Taurean: Maybe but all trainers have a snag now and then.
Prof. Oak: That's exactly right, we make mistakes but the important thing is that we learn from them. I must say though Taurean you're certainly learning about trust in your pokémon and in yourself.
Prof. Odaichi: Yes I agree.
Taurean: Thanks I hope to do well.
Prof. Odaichi: Oh with all these stories We almost forgot, Which pokémon do you choose Taurean?
Taurean: I choose Bulbasaur!
Bulbasaur: Bulbasaur!
Odaichi returned Bulbasaur to the pokeball and handed it to Taurean.
Prof. Odaichi: There now you're just about set.
Prof. Oak reached in his bag and took out some pokéballs and two pokédex.
Prof. Oak: I want you both took your pokéballs and pokédex.
The two boys take the balls and each a pokédex which they held in curiosity.
Giran: What's this thing?
Taurean: I can't believe you don't know. This is a pokédex, it gives us info on pokémon we've seen or want to catch, plus it acts as our I.D as pokémon trainers.
Prof. Odaichi: Exactly right Taurean, you've certainly studied.
(Rubbing his hand behind his back ^^)
Giran: I studied too; I just forgot about that one is all.
Snubbull backed him up.
Snubbull: Snubbull, snub!
Prof. Oak: This is it boys all that's left now is to go out and do your best, I'm sure find some interesting things about pokémon you once didn't know.
Both: Yes,
Pichu respectfully stood by there trainers and saluted.
Pichu: Pichu!
Snubbull: Snu, Snubbull!
Soon after the boy left there separate ways down the path as other trainers eagerly await there first pokémon, Taurean returns home one last time to get himself ready. He strapped on his favorite jeans, New Yorker cap on backwards, white shirt with the word "Believe" on it and a candy apple red jacket with pockets on both sides and a trainer belt strapped to his waist
With his backpack of food clothes money and stuff all fully stocked and Pichu aboard his back his soon left his room and out the door.
His grandma and uncle were waiting for him so they could greet him off.
Taurean: Grandma, Uncle Tommy what are you doing here?!
Tommy: I sure couldn't miss this day-
(Gives Taurean a noggie making Pichu very confused as a thought bubble of a question mark appears)
Taurean: Okay, okay stop it!
Soon stops and gives a booming laugh.
Tommy: Oh you could never take it; let's hope you're better at pokémon training.
Taurean: I sure will, I just wish mom was here.
Pichu: Pichu?
Grandma: She would have wanted to see you off but the doctors say she must stay in bed a bit longer, but she'll be just fine.
Taurean: That's great I was kind of worried about leaving with her still like this.
Grandma: Not to worry we'll be taking good care other, call every so often to see if there are any updates.
Taurean: I will.
Tommy: Make sure you do or you'll be in for a double noggie when come back this way.
Taurean: I will!
Grandma: Before you go there one more thing I want to give you.
Taurean: Yeah what's that?
Grandma: A hug goodbye.
A silence as he then says-
Taurean: Of course, come on group hug!
Everyone including Pichu had enormous hug and soon after took his portable bicycle and with Pichu on his back rode off from home.
Grandma: Goodbye, I love you!
Tommy: Pichu make sure you look after him!
(Pichu waves back assuring he will)
Pichu: Pichu Pi!
Taurean then turns a bit and waves-
Taurean: I'll be back and as a great trainer!
