But then there was the question. Was she ready for this? Could she really commit herself to someone already? Forever? She looked up into James' eyes. She saw love, hope, a million emotions, and…fear? Was he afraid that she would reject him outright? She leaned forward and kissed him softly, taking the ring from him.

"James, I would love to be with you forever, but I'm not ready to marry you, yet. Let's see where this goes, first, okay?"

"Okay, that sounds good. I was afraid that I had rushed it. I didn't want you to feel like I was obsessing or something…even though you are the only thing I ever think about anyway."

Misty blushed, flattered. "I love you," she kissed him softly on the lips, "I should probably be getting back, it's late."

"Wait. Would you stay with me tonight? We don't have to do anything, you know…but I really don't want to be alone tonight."

"Okay, I'd love to." The two settled down`, talking and kissing.

He cleared off the blanket and put away the leftovers. He pulled out another blanket and set it near the first. "For when we're ready to sleep," He explained.

"I see you had everything all planned out."

"It was more a matter of being hopeful. I'm glad you're staying."

"Me too."

The couple laid out on the blanket, facing each other. They were just talking and enjoying each other's company. Everything was perfect for them. Soon Misty yawned and James suggested that they should get some sleep. After covering up with a blanket, they snuggled together (Kawaii!) and fell asleep.
