Part Three: The Forest of Illusions! Battle in The Deep Dark Woods!?

Previously, Sean had just captured his first Pokemon and made it to Viridian City. The gym there was locked. Sean thinks that the door will open after he gets seven badges. Now he is in Viridian Forest, on his way to Pewter City. Find out what happens!!!!

Viridian Forest

PM on belt: Rattata, Pidgey.

Location to be: Pewter City.

Duty: Battle out of here.

Last Heal: VC PC

Sean: It's even darker than Route 1!

A figure suddenly appeared in the forest.

????: I, Bug Catcher Bill, challenge you to a battle!

Sean was pondering the answer.

Sean: Yes! I accept your challenge!

BC Bill: Go! Caterpie!

A tiny bug-like creature with a red thing on its forehead emerged.

Sean: Ok, Go! Ratatta!

BC Bill: Caterpie, String Shot!

The creature shot a blast of string at Rattata.

Sean: Rattata, dodge then use Tackle!

Rattata avoided Caterpie's string and then hit it.

BC Bill: Caterpie, Tackle!

Caterpie headed towards Rattatta and then hit it.

Sean: Rattata, use X-Treme Speed!

BC Bill: What!? Rattata's can't use that!

Rattata ran wicked fast and hit Caterpie really hard that Caterpie fainted.

BC Bill: No! Return!

Sean: Good, Rattata! Now return!

BC Bill: Go! Weedle!

Sean: Go! Pidgey!

BC Bill: AHHH! RUN LIKE THE WIND!!!!!!

Sean: Pidgey, take care of this! Wing Attack!

Pidgey's wing hit Weedle, knocking it out easy.

BC Bill: No!

Sean earned 350 Poke-Dollars and Pidgey and Rattata both earned 345 EXP!

Later, Sean finally made it Pewter City, healed and then slept.

Part Four: Rocks Of Stone And Brawn! The Battle For The Title Of The Boulder Badge!

Previously, Sean had his first Pokemon Trainer Battle and it was easy. Now he has made it to Pewter City. But, how will Sean win with Pokemon that get beat Brock!?

 

The next morning, Sean entered the Pewter City Gym.

Brock: Who's there?

Sean: I am!

Brock: Let me guess, you want to battle?

Sean: Correct!

Brock: Let's get this started! Go! Geodude!

Sean: Go! Rattatta!

Brock summoned a rock-like creature thing with rocky fists to the field.

Brock: Geodude, Rock Throw!

Geodude threw some rocks at Rattatta.

Sean: Rattatta, dodge it and use Tackle!

Rattatta avoided the rocks and hit Geodude.

Brock: Ha! That hit couldn't of worked!

Geodude started to fall to the ground and then was knocked out.

Brock: What the--!

Sean: Yes!

Brock: Return! Go! Onix!

Sean activated the Poke-Dex he had.

Poke-Dex: Onix, the stone snake Pokemon. It can coil and hurt many foes. It is the biggest Pokemon in the whole world.

Sean: Ok, Rattatta, use Tail Whip!

Brock: (Thinks): It seems he's trying to weaken me….

Rattatta wagged it's tail, hurting Onix a bit and weakning its defense.

Brock: Onix, Bind!

Onix stretched it's body out and tried to squeeze Rattatta.

Sean: Avoid it, then use Head butt until Onix faints!

Rattata first jumped onto Onix's head and then hit a couple times, then jumped down and hit it's face, finally Onix fell down.

Brock: You have earned the Boulder Badge and TM 34 Bide, an attack that focus' energy then strikes.

After the fight, Sean healed then set off to Mt. Moon.

Sean: I'm gonna catch some rare Pokemon there!
