THE TEAM ROCKET COMEDY SERIES

PART ONE

MOUSE TRAP

Team Rocket were going along in the Gyarados sub when suddenly they got a phone call.

" I wonder who that could be?" said Jessie, picking up the phone.

" Hello, this is the Boss"

James and Meowth gulped.

" Er, hello Boss, what can we do for you?" Jessie asked in a nervous voice.

" When you reach the next island there should be a package with a Thunder stone in it waiting for you"

" Why do we need a thunder stone?" asked James.

" To use on that Pikachu of course!"

" Youse mean ya want us ta evolve dat Pikachu?" Meowth asked in surprise.

" Yes, because a Raichu is much more powerful!"

With that the phone went dead, Team Rocket glanced at each other and grinned.

" Weir gonna catch a Raichu!" they cried happily.

Meanwhile, Ash and his friends were sailing along on his Lapras, miles away from the nearest island.

" So Ash, using your brilliant directional skills, how long do you think it will take us to get to the next island?" Misty asked sarcastically.

" Er, what does directional skills mean?" Ash asked sheepishly.

" Oh brother" muttered Misty.

Before they could say anything else, Tracy quickly cut in.

" Not long, maybe a few hours" he said.

Ash groaned and Pikachu hung his head.

" Pika Pi Pika!" {Why's it gonna take so long!}

" Don't moan at me Pikachu, it's not my fault!" Ash said grumpily.

" Well this is gonna be fun" sighed Misty.

" Ha! Brat's at 12.o Clock!" grinned Jessie.

" Oooh! Is it lunch time then?" James asked innocently.

Jessie hit him with her mallet and Meowth began to giggle.

" What are you laughing at?" Jessie asked, waving her mallet menacingly.

Meowth gave a nervous laugh and backed away.

" Er, nothin" he gulped.

Jessie looked suspicious for a moment.

" Well, ok, now let's go get that Thunder stone" she said.

" Yeah!"

" We've finally arrived!" Misty said joyfully.

" Pika!" {hurrah!}

" Well, let's go find the Pokemon center" said Tracy.

" Hold it right there!" a voice said.

" Huh?"

" Pi?" {huh?}

" Prepare for trouble Pikachu!"

" And make it double, we'll get you!"

" Oh no! not Team Rocket again!" groaned Ash.

" Well at least it's not someone dangerous" said Misty.

Team Rocket looked outraged.

" What do you mean, not someone dangerous?" Jessie asked.

" Weir the most dangerous criminals of all time!" cried James.

" Well I wouldn't go dat far" Meowth put in.

" Shut up!" snarled Jessie.

Jessie and James cleared their throats.

" To protect the world from devastation!"

" To unite all peoples within our nation!"

" To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

" To extend our reach to the stars above!"

" Jessie!"

" James!"

" Team Rocket blast of at the speed of light!"

" Surrender now or prepare to fight!"

" Meowth dat's right!"

Meanwhile on New Island…

" How long to Mew gets here?" said Mewtwo, glancing at his watch and shuffling a deck of cards.

And now back to Team Rocket!

" Can I ask you something?" asked Tracy.

" What?" hissed Meowth.

" If you're a group of evil Pokemon thieves or whatever, then why do you want to protect the world from devastation?" said Tracy.

James turned to Jessie and Meowth.

" Why do you say that? I always thought it was pretty silly" he whispered.

Jessie malleted him and Meowth began to laugh again.

" Pi Pikachu?" {why are you laughing?}

Meowth whispered something into Pikachu's ear and the little mouse began to smile.

Pikachu pointed at Ash and Misty.

" Kachu Pika Pi" { I think the same thing about those two}

" What exactly do you think about us Rodent!?" yelled Misty, raising her fist.

Pikachu sweatdropped and backed away.

"Pika Cha!" {Er, nothing!}

" Er, Jessie, aren't we supposed to be stealing the Pikachu?" James pointed out.

" Oh yeah, I'd almost forgotten about that" said Jessie.

" Why? Were youse to interested in somethin else?" Meowth said, giving Jessie a sly smile.

" Pika Chu Ka?" {don't you mean, someone else?}

" What is that supposed to mean?" growled Jessie.

Meowth and Pikachu spluttered with laughter.

" Ok Meowth, what did you say to Pikachu?" James asked, starting to look annoyed.

" And why does he think weir the same as those brats?" added Jessie.

" What do you mean brats!" Misty screeched angrily.

Pikachu glared at Misty and gave her a quick thunderbolt.

" Pika Kachu!" { would you stop yelling! You are a brat!}

" Hey Meowth we asked you a question!" yelled Jessie and James.

Meowth and Pikachu smiled at each other.

" I told Pikachu a sayin dat matches youse two exactly" said Meowth.

" What saying?" asked James.

" Da sayin goes, ya always hoit da one youse love" Meowth said, looking very pleased with himself.

" Hey your right, it does match them two perfectly!" grinned Tracy.

" No it doesn't!" cried Jessie and James.

" Yes it does!" everyone else yelled back.

" Jessie we've got to get that Pikachu!" James said desperately.

Jessie hit James with her mallet again.

" See! See what I mean!" cried Meowth, jumping up and down in excitement.

Pikachu started to cheer.

" Ok you two, if your not in love then what's with all the handholding?" asked Ash.

" Er-"

" And the hugging?" added Misty.

" Well you see-"

" Also Jessie, do youse remember what ya said ta James when youse rescued him from dat ghost?" asked Meowth.

" Actually I-"

" Youse said dat ya couldn't stand goils dat cried when der man went away, and dat if it was youse den you'd just say see ya later cause der are plenty more fish in da sea" said Meowth.

" What about it?" said Jessie, sweatdropping nervously.

" Youse definitely did not act like dat when youse thought dat James had decided ta stay with dat goil Jezebel" said Meowth, grinning like the Meowth that got the cream.

Jessie began to blush, by now everyone was staring at her.

" And when James came back, oh, I don't know if I could describe what youse were like!" said Meowth, dramatically putting a paw over his face.

Ash and his friends glanced at each other and raised their eyebrows.

" Youse were overjoyed, and den James pulled ya into da balloon and youse just stood der holdin hands and lookin deeply inta each others eyes" Meowth said, finishing his story.

" Chu!" {cute!}

" Oh that's so romantic!" said Misty, beginning to get that dreamy look in her eyes.

Ash glanced at her worriedly and backed away, Pikachu began to giggle.

" Well maybe I did, but, er, let's go" said Jessie, a little to quickly.

James still looked puzzled and Meowth rolled his eyes.

" Ok" Meowth sighed.

Meowth and Pikachu waved goodbye to each other and winked.

" Pika Ka!" {Good bye!}

As they were walking back to the sub James suddenly stopped and groaned.

" What's up with you?" asked Jessie.

" We never did get that Pikachu!" he cried in annoyance.

Jessie growled and malleted him again.

" Love you to Jess" James whispered to himself.

Meowth's sensitive ears heard this and he smiled, he knew he had been right.

" Pika Pika!" {The End!}
