PART TWO

CAT AND MOUSE

After their last, er, adventure Team Rocket still had that thunder stone and still hadn't caught that Pikachu.

In fact, Jessie and James got into quite an argument about it, they soon stopped once Meowth told them to kiss and make up.

But of course, they refused.

" You know I'm glad weir back in my home town" said Misty.

" Pika" {me to}

" Why don't we go to the gym and see your sisters?" asked Ash.

" Great idea, let's get going" agreed Misty.

So Ash, Misty and Pikachu went of to the Cerulean city gym to see Misty's sisters, but what they didn't know was that Team Rocket were following them.

" This is the perfect time to capture Pikachu" said Jessie.

" Don't ya mean pur-fect?" grinned Meowth.

Jessie turned and glared at the feline, Meowth was surprised that she hadn't hit him with her mallet.

" You know Jessie you don't seem quite as violent as usual, are you ill or something?" James asked, looking concerned.

" I'm not sick!" Jessie yelled, and just to prove her point she smashed him on the head.

" I guess you are ok then" James said in a dizzy voice.

Meowth chuckled to himself and smiled.

Meanwhile in an old abandoned house…

" Misdreavus Dre" {soon the fun will begin…}

And now back to Ash and company!

" Hello Daisy, Violet, Lilly! Is anyone home?" called Misty as she, Ash and Pikachu entered the Cerulean gym.

Just then Daisy came round the corner, she grinned when she saw them.

" Well it's like you Misty! I didn't, like expect you to be back like so soon!"" said Daisy.

Pikachu cringed at Daisy's voice, he liked the way she looked, but he definitely did not like the way she sounded.

" Hi Daisy, remember me?" said Ash.

" Hi Ash, so Misty how come your like back so soon?" asked Daisy.

" We were in the area so we decided to come for a visit" said Misty, glancing round the Gym.

" So where are the others?" she added.

" Their like on their holidays and like one of us had to stay and look after the gym" Daisy explained.

At that moment Team Rocket entered the gym.

" Hey you brat's there!" yelled Jessie.

Ash and his friends swung round at her voice.

" Oh it's like the girl with the weird hair" said Daisy.

" Oh and it's like the girl with the weird voice!" said James, mimicking Daisy's voice.

Jessie and Meowth fell about laughing and Daisy glared at James.

" Hey what do you mean girl with like the weird voice!" cried Daisy.

" Pika Ka Pi" {you do have a weird voice}

" Good thing she can't understand Pikachu" Ash whispered.

" What?" asked Daisy.

" Er, I said-" Ash began before Misty cut him off.

" He said, to bad you can't understand Pikachu" said Misty, shooting a look at Ash.

Team Rocket just stood there as the other's argued.

" Hey weir still here ya know!" said Meowth angrily.

" That's enough, time for a Pokemon battle!" yelled Jessie, taking out her Pokeballs, and James did the same.

" Arbok, Lickitung, go!"

" Weezing, Victreebel, go!"

Meowth screamed as Victreebel lunged at him and chased him round the pool.

" Pikachu, thunderbolt!" said Ash.

" Pika!" {cool!}

" Dewgong, ice beam!" cried Daisy.

" Dew, Gong, Gong!" said Dewgong, shooting an ice beam at Lickitung.

" Lickiiii!" cried Lickitung as she crashed into the wall.

" Pikaaaachuuu!"

Pikachu shot a thunderbolt at Arbok.

" Weezing smokescreen!" said James.

Everyone began to choke as the smoke filled the air.

" Go Charizard! Blow away the smoke with your wings!"

The large fire dragon appeared and he gusted away the smoke.

As the smoke cleared, Charizard and Dewgong returned to their Pokeballs.

" Ahhhh! Where's Pikachu!" Ash cried desperately.

" Ha! Ha! Ha! We've finally got your precious little mouse!" sneered Jessie.

Team Rocket had put Pikachu in an electric proof cage so he couldn't shock them, and they were now looking down at Ash and his friends from their balloon.

" Pikachu don't worry, I'm going to rescue you!" said Ash.

" Pika Kaaaa!" {well hurry up then!}

Daisy stepped out in front of everyone holding a Pokeball.

" Like Pokeball go!" she said.

A small pinkish white cat appeared, it had a long tail, small ears, and the most brilliant sapphire eyes they had ever seen.

" Like Mew!" the Pokemon said.

Everyone froze in shock as they stared at Mew.

" Pika Chu!" {dear god, it's Mew!}

" Mew, use your like, Psychic attack to free Pikachu!" said Daisy.

Mew sighed to himself and he glowed slightly, them the cage broke and Pikachu fell into Ash's arms.

" Hey!" James cried angrily.

" Where the hell did you catch a Mew!" Misty screeched and Pikachu covered his ears.

" I like won him in a competion!" explained Daisy.

" I'll trade you Pikachu for him!" Ash said eagerly.

Pikachu glared angrily at Ash.

" Pi!" {swine!}

" Run! She's got Mew!" James yelped, trying to run away.

" Why would we run? Let's catch him!" said Jessie, grabbing James by the collar.

" Great idea Jess" said Meowth, extending his claws.

" Go Arbok!"

" Go Weezing!"

Arbok and Weezing appeared and nearly fell over in shock when they saw Mew.

" Charbok Bok?" {what are you doing?}

" Weez Weez!" { We can't beat that!}

" Don't be wimps!" yelled Meowth.

The psychic cat grinned evilly.

Mew's eyes glowed for a second and Arbok and Weezing fainted.

" Go get it Meowth!" ordered James.

" No way!" shrieked Meowth, hurriedly backing away.

" Now your being the scaredy cat!" growled Jessie.

Mew had begun to shoot balls of psychic energy at everything in his sight.

Jessie and James fear hugged and Meowth hid a grin.

" Like Mew stop!" Daisy cried in a shrill voice.

" Shut up you fool! I am the master now!" said Mew.

" Pikachu thunder!" said Ash.

But Pikachu was still annoyed at Ash, so he refused.

" Pikachu Pika!" {I can't believe you wanted to trade me!}

" Pikachu go fight that Mew!" Ash begged, getting down on his hands and knees.

" Pika!" {scum!}

" You stupid little boy! Your overweight little electric rat couldn't beat me! Even if I was asleep!" mocked Mew.

" Pika Ka!" {scum Mew!}

" Pikachu! Don't be so rude!" scolded Ash and Pikachu glared at him.

" Pika Chu!" {Oh shut up!}

" I can't be bothered to give you a kicking, I'm off to find Mewtwo" sighed Mew and he telaported himself out of the gym.

" Like Mew come back!" cried Daisy, dashing off after Mew.

Ash, Misty and Pikachu ran after her.

" I can't believe we didn't catch Pikachu" James whined.

" It was your thought you idiot!" yelled Jessie, smacking James on the head.

" Oooh, as gentle as ever I see Jessie" Meowth said sarcastically.

" As I said, ya always hoit da one ya love!" he added, winking at Jessie.

Jessie blushed and began to strangle Meowth.

A shadow suddenly appeared over them, they looked round and saw Ash's Charizard coming up to them.

The Dragon began to growl and came racing towards them.

" Uh oh" Team Rocket gulped.

Charizard lunged forward and smashed them away into the sky.

" Looks like Team Rockets blasting off again!"
