PART THREE

MOUSE IN THE HOUSE

Last time on Pokemon Team Rocket came face to face with Daisy's angry Mew at the Cerulean gym, but what happened to Mew anyway?

Meanwhile on new island…

Mew and Mewtwo are sitting round a table playing cards.

" Got any queens?" asked Mew.

And now back to Team Rocket.

Team Rocket had arrived at the house which was said to be the home of the ghost Pokemon Misdreavus.

" I don't see why we have to go in there, it looks spooky" whimpered James.

Meowth rolled his eyes and tutted.

" We have to go in their, it's the only way to catch a Misdreavus" Jessie reminded him.

The door of the house squeaked as it opened and Meowth jumped up onto James head and clung to him.

" Well, here we go" gulped Jessie as they walked inside.

" Ash! You've gotten us lost again haven't you!" yelled Misty, turning red with rage.

" Er, can I blame it on Brock?" Ash ventured.

" No you can not blame it on Brock!" yelled Brock, smashing Ash with a mallet.

" Hey that's my job!" Misty cried angrily.

Ash and his friends were, once again, lost in the woods.

" Pikachu Ka!" {This is all Ash's fault!}

Pikachu was still annoyed at Ash after he tried to trade him for that Mew.

" Are you still mad at me Pikachu?" Ash asked.

Pikachu nodded and turned away, a sulky look on his face.

" Hey what's that?" said Brock, pointing to an old looking house.

This happened to be the same house that Team Rocket had gone in.

As they approached the house a strange ghostly cry was heard.

Misty jumped in fright and grabbed Brock's arm.

" I wonder what that was?" Ash said fearfully.

" Why don't we go in and find out?" said Brock, walking inside the house.

" Oh, ok" said Ash and Misty, following Brock.

Pikachu glanced around nervously before going inside.

" Pika Pikachu " { this place gives me the creeps}

" Come on Pikachu!" Ash called.

Pikachu sighed and ran after them.

" Misdreavus! Come out, come out, wherever you are!" Jessie called as they walked down the dark halls of the old house.

" Of course it's very likely to come out just because you ask it to" Meowth said sarcastically.

" Well what do you expect me to do them?" growled Jessie.

Team Rocket could suddenly hear a strange noise coming from behind them.

When they turned round they could see a small ghost Pokemon floating in the air.

" Misdreavus!" the Pokemon said, staring strait at them.

Jessie gulped and hid behind James, and Meowth, who was still sitting on James shoulder, dug his claws into him fearfully.

" Hey stop that!" cried James.

" Er, sorry" said Meowth, shooting a nervous glance at the Misdreavus.

" Dre Misdreavus" {I have been waiting for you}

" Meowth what did it say?" asked Jessie and James.

" It said dat it's been waitin for us" translated Meowth.

" Did it sound friendly?" asked James.

" Yes it did, surprisinly" said Meowth, looking puzzled.

" Hurrah!" cried Jessie and James.

Meowth fell of James shoulder as Jessie and James did a celebration dance.

Meowth stared at them and shook his head in disbelieve.

" I tink does two are losin da plot" sighed Meowth.

" Dreavus Dre?" {what is the plot?}

" I dunno, I didn't read da script" replied Meowth.

" Togi?" {are we lost?}

" What did Togepi say Pikachu?" Misty asked the small mouse.

" Pikachu" {he said are we lost}

" Yes we are lost" said Misty.

Togepi crossed his arms and started to sulk.

" Well it's not my fault!" yelled Ash.

" Yes it is!" Misty yelled back.

" Is not!"

" It is!"

" It isn't!"

Pikachu glanced from one to another and sighed.

" Pikachu!" {shut up!}

Pikachu thundershocked both of them, frying Togepi in the process.

" Bri!" {hey!}

" Pika" {sorry}

" Let's try to find a way outa here" suggested Brock.

" Alright" sighed Ash and Misty.

Misty put Togepi down on the ground and he started to jump up and down.

" Togi Bri!" {I wonder what I can blow up next?}

" Ahhh, your so cute" cooed Misty.

" Pika Pichu?" { what do you mean blow up?}

" Togi Bri Bri!" { with the power of my Metronome!}

" Pikachu Ka!" {you do that on purpose!}

" Togi Bri!" {of course!}

" Pika!" {Cool!}

" I wish I knew what they were saying" said Brock.

" Hey can you guys here something?" Ash asked, glancing behind him.

" Like what?" asked Misty.

" Like people talking" said Ash.

" I can hear us" said Brock.

Misty smashed him on the head with her mallet.

" Don't be dumb!" she yelled.

" Hey I tink I just hoid da twerps!" said Meowth.

" What would they be doing here?" asked Jessie.

" I dunno" said James.

" Misdreavus Dre" {many people come here}

" Are you still following us?" James asked worriedly.

Misdreavus got a sarcastic look on his face and sighed.

" Misdre Dreavus" {No, I left several hours ago}

" Idiot! Of course it's still here, or else how could it be talking to us!" yelled Jessie.

" Oh, I didn't think of that" James mumbled, blushing slightly.

" Are youse gonna keep followin us?" asked Meowth.

" Dre" {yes}

" How come? " asked James.

" Misdreavus Dreavus" {well I've got nothing better to do, and you guys look interesting}

" Er, is that a complement?" Jessie asked.

" Dreavus" {Maybe}

" Hey it's them!" yelled a voice.

Ash and his friends came round the corner and began pointing and yelling at Team Rocket.

" What's their problem?" Jessie whispered to James.

" Haven't a clue" he whispered back.

" See, I said dey were here" Meowth said, grinning triumphantly.

" I bet their gonna try and steal that Pokemon!" Ash cried, pointing wildly at Misdreavus.

" Misdreavus Dre?" {How can they steal me if I'm not even owned?}

" Because their Team Rocket!" Ash said in a whiney tone.

" Pika Pikachu?" {is that even a reason?}

" Hey don't side with them Pikachu!" Ash snapped at Pikachu.

Pikachu growled and thundershocked Ash.

" Dreavus Mis" { I am what they call a free spirit}

Meowth, Pikachu, and Togepi fell about laughing at Misdreavus's joke.

" Dat's a good one" giggled Meowth

" Can we say the motto now?" James asked eagerly.

" You always say your motto, it's boring" groaned Brock.

" Ah, but this time we've changed it a bit" said Jessie.

" Ok, Ok, just get on with it!" said Misty.

Jessie and James struck a pose and Meowth stood in front of them.

" Prepare for trouble, in this house!"

" Make it double, we'll get your mouse!"

" Er, is that all you've changed?" Ash cut in.

Team Rocket glared at him and he shut up.

" To protect the world from haunted houses!"

" And small cute electric mouse's!"

" To denounce the evils of thunder and lightning!"

" To get out of here before it gets frightening!"

" Jessie!"

" James!"

" Team Rocket blast of at the speed of light!"

" Surrender now or prepare to fight!"

" Meowth dat's fright!"

" I'm impressed, you've changed almost all of your motto" said Misty.

" Well we've been practising" said Jessie.

" I've changed all of my lines" Meowth said smugly.

" But you only have one" James reminded him.

Meowth muttered something to himself and fury swiped James face.

" Look can we please get outa here!" Brock cried desperately, and began jogging on the spot.

" What's your problem?" asked Misty.

" Nothing! Well I-"

" Don't even try to answer that!" Ash warned.

" Dreavus Misdre" {I will lead you back to the entrance}

" Wow, that's pretty kind of you!" said Ash, looking grateful.

" Dre Dreavus Dre" { well I don't want to be stuck with you bunch of maniacs for that long}

" See, I always said Team Rocket were mad" Ash said to Misty.

" Er, Ash, I think he was referring to us" said Misty, sweatdropping.

" What! How dare you!" yelled Ash.

Misdreavus glared at Ash and made him fall asleep.

" Oh great, now we'll have to wait for him to wake up before we can get outa here" moaned

Misty.

Misdreavus began to giggle and he smiled at Brock and Misty.

" Misdre Vus!" {no we don't, you two can carry him!}

" What!" yelled Brock and Misty.

Team Rocket, Misdreavus, Pikachu and Togepi all began to laugh hysterically.

Brock and Misty sighed as they picked up Ash and followed the others.

When they reached the entrance Misdreavus clicked his fingers and Ash woke up.

" Huh? Hey Misty what's going on?" Ash asked in a puzzled voice.

" You insulted that ghost and it put you to sleep, so we had to carry you!" Misty yelled down Ash's ear, smashing him several times with her mallet.

Pikachu and Togepi glanced at each other and sighed.

Nobody, except Misdreavus, saw Team Rocket sneaking out of the front door.

" Misdre" {I must follow them}

So Misdreavus leaped into the air and flew of after them.

Togepi tried to run after him, but Misty stopped him.

" Togi Bri Togi!" {Wait let's become partners and take over the world!}

" Pika Pi?" {Take over the world?}

" Bri Togi Togi!" { Yeah it'll be great, we should become partners instead!}

" Pikachu Pika Chu!" {The reign of Pikachu and Togepi, will soon begin!}

Pikachu and Togepi stood with their hands on hips, laughing evilly.

Ash and his friends looked at each other in puzzlement.

" I wonder what's so funny?" asked Ash.

" I have a strange felling that weir being followed" said James, glancing around.

" Well maybe it's that Misdreavus again" said Jessie.

" Misdreavus! Are youse der!" Meowth called, but no one answered.

Misdreavus smiled , he was following them, but he didn't want them to know that yet.

" Hey what's dat?" said Meowth, as a small yellow creature dashed out in front of them.

" Pika?" {who are you?}

" It's a Pikachu!" Jessie cried in delight.

" Go Victreebel!" said James, throwing a pokeball.

" Victree!" the large plant Pokemon cried as he appeared.

" Victreebel, sleep powder attack!" said James.

Victreebel nodded and shook his sleep powder over the Pikachu.

" Pika Pi" Pikachu moaned as she fell asleep.

" Pokeball go!" cried James, throwing a ball at the Pikachu.

Pikachu growled at them as she disappeared inside the ball, it wiggled for a moment but then it stopped, Pikachu had been caught.

Jessie and James cheered and did a victory dance.

Meowth smiled at them as he picked up the Pokeball.

" Now let's go see da boss!" said Meowth.

Jessie and James nodded and Meowth laughed happily.

So now they have a Pikachu, it's back to the boss!

" Dreavus Dre!" {the end!}
