Max leads Blade to the bush where he last saw Ash

Blade-what did you see when he disappeared?

Max-it was dome shaped. About your height

Blade-(I never heard of people disappearing by Dome Lights....Something's wrong)

Max-think you can help us?

Blade-yeah, but we need to ask people for help

Max-we have to go back to slateport, there isn't another town nearby except Mauville and that could take us days

Blade-then Slateport it is

they arrive in Slateport, Blade and Max asks everyone in town, but they got no answer

Blade-we found nothing, let's check the pokemon center

Max-right

Max and Blade run to the pokemon center, they go in to find Brock

Max-Brock, you have to help us, can we see your Map?

Brock-Sure

Brock give Max his map

Blade-anything nearby?

Max-there's a town, but it's past Mauville

Blade-great

Brock-what now?

Blade-wanna just head to Mauville?

???-Excuse me Kids

they turned to see a tall man with a short beard

Blade-who are you?

???-Allow me to Introduce myself, my name's Robert, and I seem to tell that your looking for something

Max-yeah, we're looking for Ash, have you seen him anywhere? Red hat, Blue shirt, has a Pikachu following him

Robert-nope, didn't see anything like that, but I did find a Red hat

Blade-can you take us to where you saw the hat?

Robert-sure

Max-Great!.....Brock, where's May?

May-right here

she was standing near the door, with Pikachu on her head

Max-where have you been?

May-I went to look around

Pikachu-Pikachu

Blade-We might know where Ash is

May-really, where?

Blade-don't know yet, but if we follow this Man, we could find him

Robert-let's get going, follow me
