Chapter 1
Red yawned as he woke up. There was something warm next to him. He blinked twice, before deciding that Pikachu had probably crawled into his sleeping bag for warmth while they were out camping.
Only… only whatever was in bed with him was larger than a Pikachu.
Wait… bed?
Why was he in a bed?
The last thing he remembered was falling asleep in the woods somewhere in Johto…
He automatically reached for his poke balls, panicking when he realized he wasn't wearing his belt. He bolted upright, causing a sleepy yawn to erupt from the person next to him.
“It's still early, honey… go back to sleep…”
Honey?
Red jumped up and immediately overbalanced, landing on the floor with a painful thump. The carpet under his body was a bright buttercup yellow, but he paid it no mind.
He stared at his hands in abject horror.
They were so big!
He looked down at his body, and resisted the urge to scream. Why was he so tall… and fat! This must be a nightmare!
And where was he? This wasn't his house! In fact, he wasn't sure they were in Pallet Town. He rushed to the window and gaped.
Outside, the scenery was completely different!
What was going on?
This was no part of Kanto or Johto!
“Red… come back to bed…”
Red turned around. He saw a mass of fluffy yellow hair, and a bulgy woman in a white nightgown that showed way too much flesh. He blushed and looked away.
“What's wrong, dear?”
“Who are you?” Red blurted out.
Yellow frowned as she climbed out of bed gingerly. “Are you feeling all right, dear? I know it's early, but…”
“What's wrong with me?” Red shouted. “I'm fifteen!”
“Honey, you haven't been fifteen in years. Now come back to bed.”
“No way.” Red said. He did not know what was going on but he was getting out of here fast!
He saw a familiar looking belt on the counter, grabbed it, and raced downstairs and out of the house, never mind that he was wearing a long white nightshirt. He did not realize this fact until later.
He panted, leaning against a tree in the woods, shivering slightly from the cold night air, and tried to figure out what was going on.
If this were a dream, it was a realistic one!
“What do you mean Red's missing?” Green asked grumpily.
“I don't know. I think he's been possessed. When he woke up this morning, he didn't recognize me! I'm really worried about him, Green. He thinks he's fifteen!”
Green scowled. “And you want me to help search? It's five A.M., Yellow...”
“Please?”
“Call me again in a few hours and I'll get on it.”
Green hung up and snuggled back up against Koga. Janine, who slept on the other third of the bed, woke up and blinked owlishly, but went back to sleep when Green mentioned that it was nothing.
What a strange family the three shared…
Still, no one was about to comment. After all, Green ran Viridian's gym, and Koga ran Fuchsia's, so unless one was…. Suicidal, such questions were not asked.
The other gym leaders were too sensible to disparage their tastes.
Red sat morosely in the damp grass, as he looked at the poke balls he had. He recognized four of the pokémon - Poli, Aeroy, Gyara, and his Espeon Vee, but what kind of pokémon were the other two?
They seemed to give off a black aura…
He shrugged, and wished he had his pokédex. He huddled there in the chilly dew, and sneezed violently several times in succession.
Maybe he should go home...
Yes, that was a good idea. Releasing Aeroy, he ordered him to fly to Pallet Town. Aeroy nodded, and off they flew.
Pallet Town, at least, looked fairly normal, so he walked up to Professor Oak's lab and knocked on the door.
Oak yawned and got up from his chair, wrapped in a mauve bathrobe and still holding a cup of Kanto's finest brew in his hand.
Who could be knocking at his door this early in the morning?
Red shivered as Professor Oak opened the door.
“Red, what are you doing here so early? And… in that sort of attire?”
He took in the soaked nightshirt and the poke belt buckled haphazardly around his waist.
Red shuddered. “Professor Oak, something is wrong.”
“Well, come in and tell me about it.”
Red nodded. Inside, Oak handed him a blanket. Red wrapped himself in downy fabric, frowning as he glanced around the empty lab.
“Where's Daisy?”
“She and Bill moved to Houen three years ago, Red.”
“What? What is…Houen?”
This time, Oak blinked. “Houen is the other Island close to our mainland, aside from Cosmos, and the Jewel set of Islands.”
“Huh?”
“Next you'll be telling me that the Elite Four are evil!” Oak guffawed.
“But… aren't they?”
“Heavens no! How could you think such a thing? After all, they're the ones who raised you as a child.”
“… EH?!”
“Why yes. Lorelei and Bruno are your foster parents.”
Red did the only sensible thing to do under these conditions.
He fainted.

Bunny! Now what pairing should I make this? Obviously it's Specialshipping, but what else?
Yep, I made Bruno and Lorelei Red's foster parents. Now the poor kid has to reconcile at least two different realities. Oh, this'll be fun!
Lance: Of course, waking up in bed with Yellow would give anyone a fright
Red: *Glomps Lance*
