Prologue- Pocket Monster Academy, Part One

You enter a set of black arrow-topped gates in Tokiwa Town to four buildings arranged in a cross; a two story building surrounded by three ten story buildings. The three taller buildings have ten stories, each of which has ten windows on either side of the building; each window being a dorm room which has a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a small area with tables and a couch. The other building has ten rooms on both its stories, each room with two big windows one a top each other, with ten windows located outside the rooms. Behind the two buildings, is a big clearing, with the classic Pocket Monster Battle Arena, and beyond that is the Tokiwa no Mori. Nearby are a Pocket Monster training room and the teacher's dorm rooms. This, my friends, is Pocket Monster Academy.

How, you ask, was Pocket Monster Academy constructed? First, let me tell you a story about a certain young boy who had a dream to be a Pocket Monster Master…

A hundred years ago, there was a ten year old boy who dreamed of being the best Pocket Monster Master ever. Let's call him…Satoshi. He lived in Masara Town, where most Pocket Monster Trainers start their journey with a Fushigidane, Hotokage, or a Zenigame, which they get from the town's local Hakase (professor). Let's call him Ookido-Hakase. However, when Satoshi gets to Ookido-Hakase's lab, he has no more Pocket Monster to give him, except a Pikachu. So Satoshi took the Pikachu, who didn't really like him. A few months later, he and Pikachu have become best buds, and he had made new friends during the few months, Kasumi of the Hanada City Gym and Takeshi of the Nibi City Gym. A few years later, he had made a lot of new friends, along with several people who joined his team for a while. They included Kenji, a Pocket Monster watcher/drawer who soon stayed in Masara Town to help Ookido-Hakase, and Haruka and Masato, the daughter/son of Senri, the Touka City Gym Leader.

After about 20 years, it's the year 2020. (here's the timeline: 1990: Satoshi's born. 2000-2003: Satoshi goes on Pocket Monster journey. I figure it's a year on each season, so 2000 is the Kanto Region, 2001 is the Orange League, 2002 is for Jouto Reigion, and 2003 is the Houen League. In twenty years, starting at the year 2000 is 2020, so Satoshi is 20.) The Satoshi gang (Satoshi, Pikachu, Haruka, Masato, Takeshi, and Kasumi) had disbanded and went their separate ways. Takeshi had taken over the Nibi City Gym after his parents retired (Can they do that?), Kasumi was still the leader of the Hanada City Gym, and Kenji was still an assistant to Ookido-Hakase. Haruka was now the best Coordinator, and Shu (Drew) was the only one who could best her. Hari (Harley) was banned from the Contests after he was found cheating. Masato took over his father's gym after he retired and is now a pretty good trainer. (Okay…I'm assuming that he's nine years old…so, after twenty years, he's twenty-nine…) The Rocket Gang, Magma Gang, and the Aqua Gang finally gave up and abandoned the idea of conquering the world. After that, Musashi, Kojirou, and Nyasu became Satoshi's friends.

Though they weren't traveling together anymore, the gang occasionally met up once in a while at Satoshi's house. They reminisced about old times and they shared stories about the new times too. On one occasion, they started to joke about how cool it would be if they created an academy designed for kids to fulfill their dreams of becoming Pocket Monster Trainers. A few months later, the Pocket Monster Academy was founded, and Satoshi was the principal.

One hundred and eighty years later, in the year 2200, the Satoshi gang is dead (Gee…who can live for more than two hundred years?), but Pocket Monster Academy was still standing. However, there have been a few more rules than when Satoshi was principal and the property has been changed a little (check the beginning of the chapter).

Even after the three gangs abandoned their attempts to conquer the world, a fourth gang appears after one hundred and sixty years, calling themselves the Bikou-Dan, or the Shadow Gang. For twenty years, the Shadow Gang has been terrorizing the people of the Pocket Monster World. However, the person who will stop the Shadow Gang along with his friends. However, he doesn't even know that yet. He's still trying to get up in the mornings. His name? Oh, yes, his name. His name is Axemelee Nova, or Axle.

Okay, I'm done with the first chapter! For those who read my other fanfic, `Five Years Gone…' sorry I deleted it. I didn't really like it all that much. Expect me to change words here and there in all the chapters.

Anyways, I thought this fanfic is a pretty good idea. I got it by the RP I joined. It got me thinking…what if there really was a fanfic like this? Okay, it probably wasn't like that, but you get the idea. I actually had a different idea for all the chapters. Originally, they all knew each other at the start and I was going to create a OFS (Original Fanfic Sequel) about how they met, but I decided that they would meet each other as the story progressed, except for two of the characters (who I will not reveal) who knew each other from childhood.

Even though it takes me a while to write the stories because of all these ideas I have, gomen. I have A LOT of ideas. I don't even know which ones to write down or which ones to keep in my head! It's too confusing! Also, if you're wondering why I'm using all of the Japanese names, it's because…uh…because…okay, I have no idea. It was originally `Pokemon Academy' with only the names of the humans in Japanese and everything else in English. But I decided that if I'm using Japanese names for humans, I'll just use the Japanese names for everything. If you're also wondering why I'm talking-er, writing-a lot, then it's because I don't want to waste space. The chapter ended with three-fourths of the page blank, so I decided to just talk about whatever. Maybe in the next chapter I can kidnap-I mean borrow-Kankuro from Naruto to talk too.
