Pokemon: A New Chapter

Chapter 2: The adventure begins and Kiki gets a Pokemon

When we last left our heroes they met Prof. Dogwood and his niece, Melody. They also recieved their first Pokemon.

Aqua got an unusual Pikachu with blue eyes and Kiki got a Vixen, the pre-evolved form of Vulpix. If you want to know why

Aqua's Pikachu is unusual then stay tuned.

Aqua and Kiki started making their way to Fear City after parting ways with Prof. Dogwood and Melody. " When are

we gonna get their? Why do they call it Fear City? I'm hungry... when are we gonna eat?" Kiki complained. Aqua started to

get more annoyed with her sister than she usually is when they saw a Shuppet. " You'll find out why soon enough why they

call it Fear City," called a voice. " What's your name and why is it called that?" asked Aqua. The stranger answered," My name

is Shadow and its called Fear City because of all the ghost Pokemon and dark Pokemon." 'Wow',Kiki thought,' he's kinda

cute.' It was true... Shadow stepped out of the shadows ( guess that's why they call him Shadow) and into the light. He had

loose fitting jeans and a black sweatshirt on. His hair was black with red on the bangs and he had red eyes which Aqua thought

was strange for a person to have. " You might want to watch your step or fall prey to the ghost and dark Pokemon... especially

a vicious Houndoom on the loose... we have lost alot of trainers to that creature... see ya' I hope," He said as he dissapeared in

the shadows.

Aqua and Kiki were almost to Fear City thinking about what that boy, Shadow, said when they heard a screech. They ran

off the path to see a Meowow being chased by a huge Houndoom and some Houndour. " I have a feeling that's the Houndoom

that Shadow was talking about," gulped Kiki. " Then we better save that Meowow! Mix, I choose you!!!" yelled Aqua as she released

her Pikachu. " I g-guess your right... Go Pixie!!!" called out Kiki as she released her Vixen. " Mix, use Thundershock!" Aqua commanded.

" Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiikkkkkkkkkkkkkkaaaaaaaaaaaacccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" screamed Mix,

as she let out a huge Thundershock, frying all the Houndour, causing them to run away while the Houndoom only look agitated. " Kiki!

Call out an attack!" yelled Aqua. " Oh right... Pixie, use Quick Attack!" commanded Kiki. Pixie started running at top speed towards the

Houndoom. " Mix use your Quick Attack for a double whammy!" Aqua shouted out. Mix and Pixie started running together, zig-zagging

at the Houndoom. They started running around Houndoom in circles. They ran so fast that Houndoom got dizzy and crashed backwards.

" Alright we did it!!!" yelled Aqua and Kiki. " I can't believe our first battle was against a powerful-Oof" grunted Kiki as the Meowow they

rescued jumped onto her. She started giggling as it licked her face. " I think you have a new Pokemon, Kiki," congragulated Aqua.

" Pi Pikachu!" Mix agreed, jumping onto Aqua's shoulder. " It looks like Mix made up her mind to stay out of her Pokeball and ride on

your shoulder. And I think Meowzy can stay out of her Pokeball too, right," giggled Kiki. " Meow Meowow ow." cried Meowzy. Aqua

laughed," You haven't even had her for two minutes and you already gave her a nickname?" " Well duh! come on let's get going to

Fear City now! Pixie, return." yelled Kiki returning her Vixen to its Pokeball.

An hour later they finally arrived in Fear City only to see what it looked liked. "Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh... it's creepy..." shivered

Kiki. " Mew Meow owow..." Meowzy agreed. " I don't care if this place is creepy! I just want to find the gym!" yelled Aqua. " I guess your

right... besides I want to find the contest hall." responded Kiki. " Pika Pikachu chu." Mix pointed out a black building with Pokemon

decorating the roof. " I think this is the contest hall..." said Aqua. " You thought right, Aqua," chimed a voice. " Shadow! Don't scare

us like that!" gasped Kiki, while holding a shivering Meowzy. Shadow chuckled darkly," Well, my dear you are a twitchy sight."

" What are you doing here Shadow?" Aqua asked. " I was just about to enter the contest so see ya." Shadow said, going through

the contest hall door. " Well... we should head to the Pokemon Center before you enter the contest..." Aqua told Kiki. Kiki nodded

in agreement. They walked to a building unlike any of the other Pokemon Centers. It was black and cover with tons of cobwebs.

" Uh... let's forget about anything in this city... BYE!!!!!!!" screamed Kiki as she and Meowzy tried to race away only for Aqua to

grab onto Kiki's shirt and Mix to grab onto Meowzy's tail. " Come on you big baby." scowled Aqua as she was walking into the

building. " Hello, welcome to the Fear City Pokemon Center. What can I do for you?" asked Nurse Joy. " Yes. Can you heal our

Pokemon?" asked Aqua and Kiki, as they handed her their Pokeballs, Mix, and Meowzy. " Okay. It shall take only a second." said

Nurse Joy. While they waited for their Pokemon to heal they made a call to Prof. Dogwood. " Oh, hello you two. How's your journey

coming?" asked Prof. Dogwood. " It's going great!" replied Kiki. " Aqua... I think I should tell you the truth about your Pikachu before

you battle the gym leader." said Prof. Dogwood solemnly. " Uh... what is it?" Aqua asked nervously. " She has some physic powers.

Her mother was a Raichu and her father was an Espeon." explained Prof. Dogwood. " That... is... AWESOME!!!!!!!!" screamed Aqua.

'Well... at least she isn't freaked out...', thought Prof. Dogwood as he chuckled. " Well I got to go girls. Got lots of Pokemon to take care

of." said Prof. Dogwood. " BYE!!!!!!!!!" Aqua and Kiki shouted together as he hung up. " That is so cool that Mix is a physic Pokemon

crossbreed isn't it Aqua?" asked Kiki. Aqua replied softly," Yeah, it is." *Ding* Aqua and Kiki jumped at the sound. " Your Pokemon

are fully healed. Now go fight any challenge that comes your way." Nurse Joy said. The two girls walked up to the desk to recieve

their Pokemon, Aqua's ocean blue eyes shining as she picked up her Pikachu. " Pi?" asked Mix, looking confused. " I just found

that my best friend is a physic Pikachu." said Aqua, her eyes glowing mischievously. " Pika..." Mix said embarrassed. " Alright,

enough of this mushy love fest. Let's head to the contest!" said Kiki, pumping her fist in the air. " Meowow Meow owowow!" Meowzy

agreed, pumping her paws in the air.
