It was a few hours after Hayate and Himeno left, and Jordan was getting ready for her big date with Hajime to prom. At the time, Hajime was out looking for the school, since he'd never been there. He was looking because if he'd been somewhere once, he could teleport there. That way, he could teleport the two of them to the school where the prom was being held. As soon as he found the school, he teleported back to Jordan's house and fixed himself up. He looked very snazzy(?) in his suit, even sexy. Of course, the 17-year-old version of Hajime looked sexy as FUCK in just about anything… AND nothing

He brushed off the sleeves and waited patiently for the red-eyed Prétear. Jordan hurried downstairs and took a final check in the mirror in the main hall. The dress looked nice on her, but SHE looked damn hotter; the two long-assed hours of unbraiding and perming her hair at the last minute really payed off. She wore some decent-sized heels so she wouldn't look as ridiculous as the other girls that'd be there.

The Prétear took a deep breath, then opened the door. Hajime looked up and… DAAAAAAMN! She looked REAL good! Jordan stepped outside, biting her lips shut, and closed her door.

“Hey,” the Water Knight handsomely greeted, then complimented in total amazement, “Wow! You look… GREAT!” In his mind, he thought, Damn, she's so HOT…

“Thanks,” Jordan said, nodding, “You look really nice, too…” In her mind, she thought, Man, he's fucking FINE…

“So…” Hajime sighed, “Are you ready to go?” Jordan smiled and nodded. “Yeah.” She locked the house with her key, then throw the key into her black, leather purse. Hajime jutted his elbow out bestowing an arm lock. The Prétear hesitated accept, considering that she liked him and was kind of nervous about it, but she managed. Hajime teleported the two of them to an unpopulated spot just around the corner of the school. They emerged from the corner to the entrance, and Jordan presented their tickets up-front.

Jordan found her friend Syrin and called out, “Hey, Syrin, over here!” The blue-haired, pink-eyed, muscled boy named Syrin turned around and spotted his friend. “Hey, Jordan!” he called back. Jordan walked up to him, then noticed his hand clasped with another boy's. “Who's this?” the girl asked. Syrin and the boy dry-kissed. The second boy had dirty-blonde hair and enchantingly beautiful, jade-green eyes. He was a petite figure; only a hair taller than Syrin, he was.

“Jordan Cansley,” Syrin introduced, “I want you to meet my boyfriend, Hisoka Kurosaki, and vise versa.” Jordan and Hisoka shook hands. “So you're the Prétear, huh?” Hisoka inquired with his semi-monotonous, dragged voice. Jordan nodded once. Referring to Hajime, Syrin asked her, “`Ziss your boyfriend?” Jordan petrified and stared at Syrin. Hajime stared at her from behind. The girl's arms and legs felt heavy, but she assumed that saying “…in a way…” would work as an excuse. Hajime looked down, feeling disappointed. He KNEW it would never happen.

“You know…” Hisoka informed, “That `Bad Luck' band is already here. Let's go see that friend of yours, Syrin.” Syrin smiled and agreed, “Let's go, then.”

Jordan and Hajime followed Syrin and Hisoka to the gym, where the DJ was. Bad Luck was performing their smash hit called “The Rage Beat.” Jordan moved onto the dance floor. Hajime sat down in a chair off the side of the dance floor and watched as her beautiful body moved in dance motions so advanced, she summoned a ring of other dazzled dancers.

“Does it bother you?” Syrin asked him from behind. The Water Knight turned around and questioned him. “You know what I'm talking about,” Syrin pierced with a lack of ignorance, “You like her, but you're too afraid to tell her.” Hajime frowned and nodded. “Yeah…” he sighed. Syrin sat down next to him, allowing Hisoka to sit on his lap.

“Listen,” the pink-eyed boy directed, stroking his lover's fine hair, “You should tell her how you feel. If she's a true friend to you, she won't break your heart. If she hates you for your feelings, then she's not the right person to even hang outwith. I know her. She'd neveremotionally hurt anyone. At least tryto get with her and quit sight-seeing!” Hajime knew Syrin was right. Thus, he bravely got to his feet, moved to the dance floor, and started to dance with the enchanting girl.

Damn!Jordan thought, Hajime's an unbelievably good dancer!Shortly, though, she lost interest in Hajime's closeness to her, and she continued to move her body and have fun. Oh SHTICK!Hajime thought scandalously, She's an EXTREMELY hot dancer!

Fatefully, The Rage Beatended, and the DJ temporarily took over with Britney Spears' Every Time. It was a very appropriate song for the situation the two were in. Still, it wasa slow song, and for a short while, the Prétear and Water Knight just stood in place. They both looked like complete idiots.

At last, Hajime spoke out and asked, “Would you like to dance?” Jordan was unable to smile, but she nodded and replied, “Sure.” Hajime wrapped his arms around the girl's waist. Jordan snaked her arms around the muscular boy's neck. The couple rocked side-to-side. Desperately trying to ignore the fact that the close contact was driving them crazy. As soon as the lights dimmed down, Jordan felt the need to lay her head against Hajime's shoulder. She sighed as she did. His hold on her felt so warm, and she couldn't help but savor the mystical moment. Hajime enjoyed the fact that he was actually blessed with the chance to touch her in the first place.

Sadly, however, it was killing both of them, and Jordan was beginning to feel the pressure of bearing such a heavy and jeopardizing burden. She HAD to tell him… everything. Right when Hajime was about to speak, she tipped her head up to his neck and asked, “Why did you choose to be my date, tonight?” Hajime was about to tell her his feelings, but her question made him lose his nerve, so he lied, “You looked like you had nobody to take, so… being a friend… I thought maybe I'll go with you.”

Jordan leaned on his chest, wanting to cry. She collected herself and finally said, “Well, being a friend, I think you should know something…” His eyes dropped down to her, and he gave a “Hm?” to let her know he was listening. Jordan continued, “I'm scared, but I have a secret to tell you… I…” She paused to tuck her head into his neck and release a sigh. The girl's heart was beating triple time, yet she still confessed, “You need to know that… since I first met you… I've loved you…”

“WHAT!?!”

Jordan's eyes fluttered shut in fear. Her body was pushed away from Hajime's. She immediately began to cry from self-shame. Other students of the school gave the couple odd looks. “I'm sorry, Hajime!” Jordan cried, “I can't help it! I can't control the way I feel about you! You've always helped and guided me, but all of that's just turned to love! I can't change that. I love you, Hajime! Please, don't hate me, PLEASE!” She was literally latched onto Hajime's suit, begging for forgiveness. The whole room, even the DJ, went dead silent. To Jordan and Hajime, they were the only ones there. Jordan's head lowered; never had she felt so emotionally unstable in her life.

Her heart stopped as she felt Hajime's warm fingers lifting her chin. Before she could even see him, the Water Knight planted a straight-up soul kiss on her lips that magically dried her tears. When the kiss was broken, Hajime gazed deep into her blood-red eyes and openly confessed, “I've… ALWAYS loved you, Jordan.” Everyone around them clapped and whistled in applause. Jordan smiled with tears of joy in her eyes. As she threw her arms around Hajime's neck, she gave him a little kiss on the cheek.

“I love you, Hajime.”

“I love you, Jordan.”
