Pretty Cure just defeated an Uzainaa when Mai gets pulled into a dark hole. She awakens in her human form to Gooyan who has a dark smile on his face.

I really hate this recession. I had to cut out virtually all forms of entertainment just to pay my bills. The only thing I have to watch are old episodes of some anime that I downloaded back when I had cable internet. I don't know why I download Pretty Cure, but I really *HATE* it. It's just too dame goody goody. I made it through the original and Max Heart mostly because it was still new to me. But this want-a-be Splash Star just makes me sick. I don't hate Mai specifically, but every time she says something, it's like "Come on." This story makes more sense to me then the original plot.
The idea of Kaoru and Michiru being the former Pretty Cure who was raped into becoming dark soldiers actually makes a lot of sense for their character design. My favorite part is when Mai breaks and she starts apologizing for various things. There is a lot of subtlety to what she is saying, and plus the idea of the bitch begging and cracking is very pleasing. The show is far more bearable now that I've written this story.
