When I first wrote the prequel to this, I really had no intention of creating a sequel. The "To be continued" was just a subtlety I used to indicate that Mai's rape will not end just because the story did.
Because my favorite part of the previous story was Mai apologizing, I read it over and over again. After watching a few more episodes, I realized, "Jeez. When I first wrote the prequel to this, I really had no intention of creating a sequel. The "To be continued" was just a subtlety I used to indicate that Mai's rape will not end just because the story did.
Because my favorite part of the previous story was Mai apologizing, I read it over and over again. After watching a few more episodes, I realized, "Jeez. Mai seems like the sincerely righteous kind, so wouldn't Gooyan torture twister her into the nude, masturbating, sex toy he wanted?" That idea drove me into writing this story. I didn't want it to be a sequel, but since it didn't make sense without the previous part, I had to let it become 'the' sequel. I mainly disliked the idea of Mai "somehow" escaping her fate, but when I realized I could make her escape into herself (a concept I hope caught on early in the story) everything worked out perfectly. Not only was there a demented Mai running around without any underwear, sleeping in the nude, and masturbating herself silly, but the rest of the world was free to conform to this new and improved Mai. Thus, the story turned out better than I could have imagined.
