The next morning found Kagome wide awake and sitting outside leaning against the side of the house enjoying listening to all of the bird sounds around her. Her eyes were closed in peaceful contemplation when she felt two arms slip around her and she was pulled into a warm lap.
“Good Morning my Love.” Inuyasha said softly before leaning down to give her a soft kiss.
“Morning, is Shiko still asleep?” Kagome replied.
“Yes, she is oh and about yesterday. I am very very very sorry I emberrased you in front of Sesshomaru like that. Please Don’t sit me for it. I promise I won’t do it again.” Inuyasha pleaded.
“Well as long as you won’t do it again and you let me stay and cuddle with you some more right now, I guess I can forgive you.” Kagome replied with a smile.
“Keh.” Was Inuyasha’s eloquent answer. Causing Kagome to just laugh and snuggle in to him more deeply.
Two hours later found Kagome busy around the family shrine with helping to tend to visitors and find the right charm for them to buy. Just as Shiko ran outside there was a group of eight people climbing the top of the steps.
Shiko paused in her way to her mother and then squealing with delight asked if she could go play with the nice man who had helped Shippo yesterday and why the lady had blue hair.
“Shiko Honey, be polite. If you want to see if they will play just ask them nicely.” Kagome replied.
“Ok Mommy.” Shiko replied.
Just then Kurama and his group of friends walked up to Kagome and she turned around and smiled at them while Shiko ran over to introduce herself and ask them about playing with her.
When Shiko reached the group Kurama picked her up and swung her around before hugging her and setting her back down.
“Good morning Inuyasha, Kagome and Shiko, let me introduce my friends to you.” Said Kurama politely.
“Good morning yourself Kurama and where have you been hiding yourself Yuuske? Mom is going to be ticked you have not come for a visit in the last 15 years.” Kagome said.
“Awww come on cousin give me a break. I have been runnin around with these guys here makin sure that when you save the world over there that it stays saved over here. So I have been a little bit busy.” Yuuske replied.
“Ok, ok I think I can give you a break as long as you keep in touch more often this time around.” Kagome replied while giving him a quick hug.
Then turning back to Kurama she said “Sorry for interrupting when you were about to introduce everyone.”
“Not a problem Kagome. Well, I see you know Yuuske, the tall guy behind me in the blue is Kuahara, the shorter guy in black over to the side is Hiei, the Girl with blue hair in pink is named Botan, the tall one in the back is Kuahara’s sister Shizuru, the short one that is an ice apparition with the greenish blue hair is our very one Yukina and….”
Yuuske cut in right then with a comment of “And the wrinkly old hag over there is called Grandma”
“Or better known as Master Genkai, Yuuske.” Admonished Kurama.
“And know that you have met everyone we feel that we need to warn you we saw three people walking together and we definitely recognized one of them. And he is nothing but trouble and we can only assume that the other two are as well. We wanted to tell you the name of the one that we know and then head to spirit world to talk to Koenma to see if he could tell us the names of the other two.” Kurama stated.
“Actually that’s why I am here with you guys this morning. Koenma-sama sent me here to save time for everyone. He knows the names of all three of them and he also knows that this is just a beginning and that there will be 26 villains in all that we as a goup will need to face. But he also said to have hope because four of them are simply being mind controlled. And when the two powerful priestesses that serve them show up and chant together their ritual chant it has been written that the curse would be fulfilled and they will be released to reclaim their rightful places in the heavens and will be able to help us all out. So be on the lookout for two priestesses by the names of Miaka Yuki and Yui Hongo.” Botan said.
“Well????” Inuyasha demanded.
“What he means is you forgot to tell us the names of the three guys that are already here and going to be causing havoc soon.” Kagome said.
“Oh, ooops. I almost forgot their names are Shinobu Sensui and he seems to be married to a Nehelina and living with them is Nehelina’s cousin Akita Sohma. And under Nehelina’s mind control are Genbo Of The North, Suzaku Of The South, Seiryuu Of the East and Byakko Of The West. I hope that this info helps everyone out.” Botan replied
Right after Botan got finished saying this there were groans from the Sailor Scouts that had come out halfway through and had caught everything that Botan had just said.
“Just great. She can’t seem to learn her lesson and stay out of the way can she?” Sailor Jupitor asked.
“Well look at the bright side all we need to do to defeat her and her mind control tricks is to get Sailor Mini Moon here.” Said Sailor Venus.
“You are right.” agreed all of the Sailor Scouts together.
After introducing themselves and the group that had come with Ranma to everyone it was decided that a picnic outside was just the thing for lunch and it would give everyone a chance to visit and get to know each other better. It would also give Shiko a chance to run around and play while burning off some of her excess energy.
Not half an hour in to the picnic a group of two more people showed up at the shrine. And had everyone their except for one person on their guard as to who they were, why they were there and what they wanted.
But the girl in the group spoke up first sayin a phrase that shocked almost everyone their out of their minds.
“Hiei my love, why did you make me have to come and find you. You could have just left me a note saying where you were going”
“Hello Miss, My name is Kurama and I am afraid I am to blame for dragging him off without a word of warning to anyone as we needed his help in trying to brainstorm in how to save the world from 26 very evil creatures.” Kurama smoothly explained.
“Oh well, I understand then and my friend as wellas my cousin and I would like to join you in your quest as we are powerful fighters as well. Plus we have some friends who are also strong fighters. Oh and before I forget my manners. My name is Rukia and my cousin here is Ichigo. It is a pleasure to meet any friend of Hiei’s.” Rukia replied
At this point Yuuske was on the ground laughing so hard he could hardly move with a scowling Hiei standing over him demanding he shut up before he was tempted to release his dragon on him.
Before anyone could say or do anything else there was a voice that just popped out of nowhere and it said.
“Don’t worry Hiei just as you were matched to your soul mate so will Yuuske also be and she is standing closer then either of you know.”
“You again!” Hiei growled.
“Surprise, I am here to have some fun.” Said Katanashi
“My name is Katanashi, but you might recognize me by my other title. I am also called the Goddess of Matchmaking. It is one of the most fun jobs ever.” She said.
“And my job is to watch over your ever growing group and to make sure that everyone gets paired up to the right person. And Shippo your mate to be is on her way.” Said Katanashi
Noticing Shiko’s cute little pout Katanashi leaned down and gave her a hug before saying.
“Not to worry little one I have not forgotten about you. I have someone really special in mind who will adore you just like your parents adore each other. But you will have to get a bit older first. But for right now how about you go play with all of your new friends. I see Shampoo over there sitting all by herself.” Katanashi said.
As Shiko ran off everyone sat back down in groups to enjoy the food to visit and to relax before an intense planning session started.
