The Fyuo Heokei Stone
After Shiko fell asleep that night Inuyasha and Kagome decided that they needed to come up with a way for everyone to keep in touch and a schedule of where everyone was staying and what their work schedules were. Another point that Kagome brought up was how were they supposed to know when the whole group was assembled, if they were not sure who all was coming.
Right after Kagome finished thinking her last thought Inuyasha turned to her and said.
“Come Love, let’s get some rest for ourselves we can worry some more about this in the morning. Right now I just want to get some sleep while holding you.
“Me too Inuyasha, me too.” Kagome replied.
The next morning after breakfast Shiko heads outside to the courtyard with her uncles Sota and Fluffy to play ball only to find a beautiful young lady who looks very much like her uncle Fluffy waiting for them.
“Hello little Shiko. My name is Athena. Are your parents awake? And may I speak to them please?” the Kami asked.
“Sure let me get them.” Said Shiko.
A few minutes later Shiko came walking outside again standing behind her dad with her mom behind her.
“See Dad, It’s the pretty lady I told you about. Now may I go play with my Uncles?” Shiko polietly asked.
“Sure sweetheart.” Her mother replied while laying a hand on Inuyasha’s back to help comfort him and because she enjoyed the feel of her mate.
As soon as shiko had skipped off to play Athena invited Kagome and Inuyasha to sit down with her tellin them she had a way for them to know who all to expect to help them out, and a way for Shiko to age 10 more years before the world would be in grave danger.
“Keh. If you already knew how to do that then why bother us?” Inuyasha asked.
“Because, it can only be used once and if something messes up then the aging process goes back to normal.” Athena replied in all seriousness.
“What do you mean by normal?” Kagome questioned while flicking a glance over towards Shiko.
“Relax. It will in no way harm your daughter. My brothers and I will be putting up 10 Fyuo Heokei stones around the world to make everyone that is not a par of your group and their families fall into a dormant sleep for 10 years allowing Shiko the time she needs to become older and strong enough to face the upcoming battle while keeping the world safe in the meantime.” Athena stated.
“What a relief.” Said Kagome
“Keh, what’s the catch?” asked Inuyasa.
“That’s just it since the stones look like normal stones except for their color if anyone removes, or breakes more than 2 of the stones then instantly everyone else on earth wakes up again and time for them picks up where they left off and the threat to earth is renewed. So my brothers and I will be doing our best to make sure that others stay away from the stones. So I do not believe that you have anything left to worry about.” Said Athena.
“Thank you so much. Now I have one more question for you please. You mentioned a way of knowing who all of our allies were going to be. How are we going to do that?” Kagome questioned.
“That is the easy par of all of this. I have two scrolls to give to you for your group to memorize the names on them. The first scroll has a list of all of the names of your family and allies on it. And the second scroll has the list of all of the enemies that you are going to have to face. Please read them carefully for some of the people you may meat may not look like much help on the surface but everyone has their part to play in helping. Also some of your worst enemies will have the nicest looking face that you would like to see. Do not be fooled for under the fair face lies an evil heart.” counciled Athena while handing off the two scrolls.
“Thank you so much for your advice and for these scrolls, I will make sure that they are put to good use.” Kagome said.
Awhile later that afternoon after lunch and after Athena had left them, Kagome and Inuyasha decided to take a look at the scrolls.
“Which one do you want to look at first Inuyasha?” questioned Kagome.
“Keh, the list of our friends of course.” Inuyasha replied while holding it out to Kagome.
After taking it from him Kagome found herself sitting comfortably in Inuyasha’s lap while he was slightly blushing.
“You gonna read that or not?” Inuyasha asked.
With a giggle Kagome opened the scroll and read the following words.
To find out who the allies are read the next chapter I know this one is kinda short but the next two are a bit longer to make up for it. To be continued…
