PROLOGUE:

A young woman, about 22 perhaps, with short choppy blonde and red hair strolled out of the abandoned hospital in a shred of white medical clothing, covered under a white doctors coat. It was Alice, she had looked terrorfied. But after all that she had been through, who could blame her? She had lost all that she had known, that she had loved. J.D died on the spot, Rain was shot by Matt because she had turned, Matt had been taken away, Spence.. the true man that she desired most from her amnesia had betrayed her. "Damn it!" Alice screamed at the top of her lungs. It wasn't like anyone could actually hear her. The entire city was empty and layered with debri. Alice walked with quickening pace to a bloodied police car that read "Raccoon City Police" on the side. She snatched a shotgun and redloaded it with all her strength. She was getting revenge.

CHAPTER ONE: BACK FROM THE DEAD

A man in a white long coat and dark black rimmed glasses circled the table in the small examining room. "We shouldn't be in here" a woman told him shaking her hands nervously on the table. "Quiet Ella" he replied. Ella was right, the entire place had sealed shut, they wern't ever getting out. Unless they forced this all open somehow. The red queen was definitely not going to go along with their mindless idea. If she had known, they would have been dead by now. But they had escaped all the terror so far, the others had no idea that they were in a sealed shut room that the Red Queen couldn't force open, not too far away from the tunnels. In fact, their location wasn't even on the map or the plans to the place. They had it constructed secretly. "Bring in the bodies" the man picked up a small metal utensil with a dead sharp edge and placed it on a navy blue type material.

"Yes sir" a nurse said. Three men came back pushing three tables with black body bags on top of them. Each one had a small clipboard with four sheets of paper, indentifying them, bios, etc. The man picked up the bag carefully with the help of a worker, and placed it on the table. As soon as all three were on the tables, he unzipped the first one. "J.D Salinas" a man read from the clipboard.

"Ah," he replied. He examined the small bullet hole slightly, he poked a little here and there and zipped up the bag. "Next" he ordered. "Rain Ocampo" the man read again, rather more interested with this persons file. Once again he unzipped the bag, the little bullet hole was also in her head, he examined it slowly. "Get me the Vaccine" he ordered. A woman came running shortly after with the small glass viral. He placed the liquid in a small needle and injected it into Rain's neck. Where the Anti-Virus should of gone in the first place. Alice wasn't as smart she thought she was, she had injected it into her arm, letting her crawl and callapse on the spot.

The moniters went nuts, beeping and buzzing and all sorts of movements from the graphics. "I've never seen anything like this before.. she's trying to come back to life.." the man was very surprised and backed away slowly. Rain sat up on the table, her eyes back to her chocolate brown instead of the crazed aqua blue that the dead had made their untilmate trademark.

"And you are..?" Rain looked up at them with her same pout as when she was living. "How..?" a nurse fainted clumzily. "Get up Jesse" a man ordered, dragging her by the feet to the next room. "Dr Glassenberg, you must be Rain" he held out his hand for her to shake but she resisted. "I died" she sighed. "I did.. I'm not a god damn zombie anymore...right?" Rain looked at her bloodied hand wrapped in gausse, the blood was indeed quagulated but it was now clotting, her regular form starting to take shape.

Before her face was disfigured and puss was in her eyes, she was dieing. Waiting in either heaven or hell for the monster inside of her to take over. Sure enough, she had attacked Matt. How angry she was at herself, it hurt her deeply. The people that helped her... she never intended to be one of those 'things'. But that 'bitch of a computer' resisted, she wanted her dead. This was not in Rain's plans. And if Rain was anything, she was a definite go-getter.

"Why am I here?" she jumped down from the table looking into a small mirror on the side of the wall. "We brought you back I suppose, or you did anyway" Ella spoke up. Uck, Rain already despised of this woman. She reaked of jealousy and manipulation. Her light blonde hair was gracefully tied back into an elegant bun and she had on a black professional looking skirt and jacket, she had cold blue eyes and looked about 25. "Did I ask you?" Rain snapped. "No.. I suppose not" Ella scoffed and took her leave.

BACK AT RACCOON

Alice walked into a small coffee shop. The windows were smeared with blood and the seats were ripped off their plastic stands. What was left of the menu's and lights remained. Newspaper from the inside had flown in, due to the door torn off its hinges. This was not what she wanted to happen. It was all Spence's fault. But she shouldn't be too mad, she had gotten her revenge, he died and she was alive. Saving the world.. that was the last thing she wanted to do. She had other plans. Perhaps destroy another companies reputation, or go on some other less dangerous mission. She hated zombies, and it wasn't even that she was scared, they just bothered her.

But how was she to know what she really thought of them? This was her first zombie chase, was she to defend the city and find out who was still amongst the living? Hell yeah!

*Ooh, cliff hanger, hehe*
