Chapter 4

"Ranma honey you came to visit me" Kodachi said upon opening the door and seeing Ranma there.

"Well, kind of I guess. I actually came to see your brother. Is he here?"

"Oh don't bother with him Ranma. I have something much better to show you." Kodachi led Ranma to her room, careful not to set off any traps. Once there, she pointed Ranma to a chair and rummaged through a box till she found what she was looking for.

"Here look at this" Kodachi handed Ranma a photo album. Inside of it were pictures of him and Kodachi except either his head was pasted on or both their heads were pasted on. There were also some of him just doing normal everyday things.

"Whoa! I knew I was being stalked, but when I told myself that, the voices in my head said I was just being paranoid."

"Of course, I try not to let you out of my sight."

The door to Kodachi's room opened and there stood Kuno

"Ranma Saotome prepare to die!!! Kuno charged at Ranma, but he dodged. The photo album was hit instead, sending pictures flying. Ranma landed behind Kuno

"Kuno I have a request."

"A request of me you say? Kuno said once he had turned around.

"I want you to use the still-state strike on me"

"What!!" Kuno laughed " Use an actual technique on you. You're not worth it"

"What if I could get you a date with the pig-tailed girl?"

Kuno seemed to consider this for a moment. Then a grin spread on his face as he imagined all the things that they could do on a date and how they would declare their love for each other on a high cliff under the moonlit sky.

"Even though this would be a betrayal to Akane Tendo, I accept. Send her my condolences and tell her that I love her still like a flower loves the ever nurturing rays of the sun."

"Uh…yeah, so just attack me now then. The quicker it's done, the closer you get to your date." Of course this was all a lie. Ranma had come here to get attacked as a boy so that he would remain a boy. Then of course he would ask Kuno about the cure so that Ryoga could return to his human form.

"RANMA!!!" Kuno yelled "I shall date with her!!!" Kuno charged at Ranma and did the first move of the technique; a strike right below the neck, causing Ranma to become unstable.

Before he could balance himself, the second blow struck. This one was a blow to the base of the back. Because of his instability Ranma was sent flying into a wall. Where he hit, a small crater formed.

Above him a shelf shook from the impact, causing the vase on it to fall on him. The water From the vase instantly changed him into his female form. In the same instant a puff of black powder from the rose from the flowers.

" No, It's not supposed to be this way…" Ranma said, her last words a mumble as the sleeping powder took affect.

"You!!' Kodachi sneered to a sleeping Ranma as Kuno simultaneously exclaimed "Pig-Tailed Goddess!!"

An argument and many broken items later, Kuno takes the sleeping Ranma to his room with plans in mind.

Akane walked into her house, quickly taking off her shoes. Behind her were the rest of the home's occupants.

She was glad to be back. Now she could see what Ranma had been up to. Not that she cared or was worried; no nothing like that.

"Hey Ranma we're back" Akane said, Her voice echoing throughout the house. No response greeted her.

"That's weird" Kasumi said, "It's almost 9:00 Ranma should be here."

"Maybe he went somewhere" said Nabiki " Does anyone see a note?"

Everyone looked around ,but there was no note to be seen.

Akane decided to not let it bother her. She was sure he would come back. She then went up to her room to put down her bag.

As Akane entered her room, she noticed P-chan on her bed.

*Wow still here* she thought as she put her bag down.

"Hey P-chan, I'm home" Akane said expecting P-chan's usual reaction of joy. This time it didn't happen. P-chan did look at her, but in his eyes were a look of sadness.

"Hey what's wrong?" Akane picked up P-chan and sat on her bed.

P-chan only offered a small squeal then resumed his silence.

"Did Ranma do something P-chan? Are you sick?" She sighed " I wish you could answer me. Maybe hold a sign like Mr. Saotome." Akane laughed softly to herself then. "You probably can't even spell; much less write a sign."

Akane stood and walked downstairs Maybe Kasumi could help.

Soun looked up from the game of shogi he was playing with Genma, who was in panda form. Genma had slipped and somehow been thrown out to the pond.

Soun was almost sure that Genma was turning panda more often on purpose. He shrugged off the thought and focused on the game again.

After a few more minutes of the game, someone could be heard coming down the steps. Soun looked up and saw Akane walking down the stairs. In her arms was P-chan.

Soun did his best to suppress a glare. He knew it was actually really a stupid thing to do considering he had known about Ryoga being P-chan.

He guessed it was more because now everyone (minus Akane) knew about Ryoga, and they didn't want to do anything about it.

Maybe no-one really cared about Ranma and Akane's Engagement. Maybe they didn't care about the future of the Tendo dojo of anything goes martial arts.

He thought it over again and realized that Ranma had, on some morning ran around chasing P-chan as if he wanted to strangle him. Maybe there was hope after all.

Soun looked back at the board then. Something was wrong with it.

"Genma…"

The panda held up a sign saying he didn't do anything and so ensued their usual argument
