When morning came, people were always trying to finish their morning duties before going off to work or school. However, there was one person that would rather be in the dark than the light. Though all of the angels had to live in the sky, she would have to bare the bright light that was shining on her face. She groaned and pulled the duvet over her head.

“I hate mornings” she muttered under her breath. She heard a knock at the door and someone opening it, but she ignored it. Suddenly her duvet was being lifted off by a pair of hands. She glanced up at the person but winced when the bright light hit her eyes.

“Get up Mizuno, everyone is having breakfast right now” Atsuki said and smiled down at her. Mizuno frowned slightly and sat up slowly, covering her eyes from the light.

“Atsuki, do you always have to do that every morning?” Mizuno asked grumpily and swung her legs over the bed and to the floor. She stretched her arms out and yawned softly.

“Yes, it’s my routine every morning” Atsuki smiled and patted Mizuno’s head as if she was her pet. “Now be a good girl and get up, or else no one will leave you any breakfast” she said gently and walked out of the room in a quick motion.

“I am not a child” Mizuno said even though she knew that Atsuki wasn’t in her room anymore. She sighed and lifted herself off the bed and walked over to her closet. She opened it up and scanned through her clothes. After several minutes she had got out of her night gown and was wearing a black mini skirt with a red rose as its symbol on the left side of it. She also had on a black V shaped shirt and a black sleeveless lower cut jacket on. She then walked over to her shoe stands and grabbed a pair of black laced up boots and put them on, along with the black and red belt that was hanging on the wall. When she was satisfied with everything, she walked out of her room and down to the dinning room. When she got there everyone was giving her their smiles and ‘good mornings’ before going back to eat again. She sighed quietly and took a seat next to Atsuki. She scanned the food and took the bits that she liked. She looked at all the familiar faces and quietly smiled to herself.

Atsuki, Angel of Light. Kind, nice and beautiful. She’s the definition of happiness. There’s nothing in the world that could upset her, or that she’s too good of keeping the sadness to herself. She likes to wear bright and happy colors, much to Mizuno’s annoyance.

Pinzy, Angel of Lightning. Aggressive, clueless, annoying and quite attractive. He’s the one and only person that Mizuno wants to kick, slap or kill (not literally). He can be nice sometimes, but rarely.

Azumi, Angel of Fire. Pretty, good at martial arts, kind and can be quite a bitch. Mizuno and Azumi get along sometimes, some other times they always end up in fights to see who’s the strongest out of them. Quite childish really when they actually think about how childish they look in front of their friends.

Yuuichi, Angel of the Wind. Strong and kind. He’s the most gorgeous angel that Mizuno had ever seen. He’s always hanging by himself and only accepts Mizuno as his company but not others. Once everyone thought that they were a couple then Yuuichi spoke out that they weren’t. Mizuno had been hurt after that but the pain is slowly going away.

Nerine, Angel of Water and Ice. Graceful, nice and kind. She’s Atsuki’s adopted sister but even though they’re not blood related, she seems to act pretty much like Atsuki. Everything seems to make her happy and she’s always making people happy. She basically loves everything and always cheerful around Mizuno. However, unlike Atsuki, Nerine knows when to give other people their space and not going over the top on her happiness.

Ty, Angel of Silence. Yes the title said it all, he’s the quiet guy. Hardly speak to anyone but Father. If it’s necessary for him to speak then he’ll speak, if not then he’ll remain quiet. At first everyone thought that he was just a shy guy, but he isn’t, he just doesn’t like to speak. Even when he’s out in battle he would just call out his attacks quietly and kill all the enemies.

Misato, Angel of Wood. She’s and Ty are very similar. Both are quiet in different ways. Ty’s way is just because of his title. Misato’s way is just that she doesn’t want to be around people, as in she doesn’t want their attention since she’s not really good at having people attention on her. She only talks to Azumi since they’re best friends.
Hard to believe really when Azumi is a bitch and Misato is just a nice, caring person.

Hitachi, Angel of Love. A funny dude and can read people’s emotions. He can tell if anyone of them is in love and will not shut his mouth if he finds out who they are in love with. Lucky for them none has falling in love yet. Hitachi loves to play with people’s emotions but he is also helpful in so many ways. Like helping a couple to get over their silly little fight and get back together. Or just give them advice on how to approach each other gently.

Masashi, Angel of Steel. He’s smart, strong but very tense. He doesn’t really get along with most of the angels but hey at least he has a few friends such as; Hitachi, Nerine and Mizuno.

Mizuno, Angel of Darkness and Death. She's the only one that could be sane around these angels. She doesn't show her emotions to anyone but herself. She hates to feel weak and useless. She's kind to everyone, mostly to Azumi but she doesn't show it openly. She doesn't like to be in the light that much since she is used to be in the dark, ever since she turned 6.

Mizuno looked at one of her friends silently and sighed. At least none of them know about my past, she thought.

-FLASHBACK-

Mizuno was playing by herself in the dark corner, ignoring all the strange stares that she was receiving. Suddenly a boy came up to her and started hitting her.

"You're such a freak, staying in the dark like that" he laughed and continued to hit her. Soon his friends joined in and teased her, saying that she's a freak for not liking the brightness of the world. Finally, when Mizuno couldn't handle the pain anymore, her eyes flashed into a dark purple color as she looked up at them. The boys took a step back and looked down at her uncomfortably.

"Leave me alone!" she yelled at them. They started laughing again and started to kick her. When one of them caught Mizuno's stare he froze, his mouth wide agape. Mizuno didn't show any emotion as she began to kill him.

"Die" she mumbled quietly. Suddenly the boy collapsed to the ground with a loud thud, emotionless and unmoving. His friends jumped in a fright and looked down at him. They bent down to check on him, they found that he wasn't breathing. They glanced over at Mizuno one more time before running off screaming.

"Pathetic fools" she said quietly and continued the game she was playing earlier.

-END FLASHBACK-

Mizuno sighed more quietly this time since everyone had stopped eating. Well they had finished their breakfast and were waiting for their orders from Father. She relaxed in her chair since she knew that she always worked at night. Father cleared his throat loudly to get her attention. He smiled when Mizuno looked at him, frowning a bit.

"I don't have any orders for you today, so you all could relax and do whatever you want" he said loudly and clearly. Everyone smiled and stood up before running off to do what they wanted. Father smiled then looked over at Mizuno who was just taking her time to stand up.

"Is there something wrong, Mizuno?" he asked, a bit concerned. Mizuno looked up at him.

"No, why?" she asked curiously even though they had been going the same thing for years.

"Oh nothing really” he said and looked at her as if expecting her to tell him what had been troubling her since he could sense it. After a few minutes of silent he gave up and sighed. “Just go and have your free time” he smiled faintly and stood up. Mizuno watched him leaving the room with silently and sighed to herself. She stood up and walked out of the room a minute later.

Once Mizuno was outside she saw Azumi and Misato sitting by the edge of the fountain chatting happily to each other. Really she couldn’t figure out how Azumi turned into a sweet caring girl whenever Misato was around her. She walked down the steps leaving the mansion and out to opening of the surrounding areas. She came to a stop 15 minutes later when she saw Ty sitting on top of a very high cloud looking down below, no doubt that he was watching those humans down there. She turned her head away from him and continued walking. After a short while she spotted Hitachi and Masashi sitting on a rounded table chatting about something. When they saw her they turned their head away quickly, well not quick enough for Mizuno to spot a blush on Masashi’s face. Why the hell is he blushing? She thought but pushed the question back and continued on walking. Yuuichi was no where to be seen and she wasn’t really upset about not finding him. If he wanted to be found then she would spotted him ages ago. And for knowing Atsuki and Nerine, they would probably be up on the cloud laughing at all the weirdness in their lives.

Mizuno didn’t really have a spot that she would go to, so she normally just wandered around until she found a spot to her liking. Soon she found the spot that matched her title, it was a place near the graveyard, that was what all the angels called it anyway. To the human it would be Heaven but Mizuno couldn’t see anything pleasant about that place. She laid down and looked up at the sky blankly, though the light wasn’t hurting her that much as before but at least she could always try to cope with it. She closed her eyes and placed her lower arm on her eyes and rested a bit. She didn’t actually knew when she had fallen asleep, but the last thing that she heard was the sound of the people from Heaven, and they were screaming…at something.
